@afb4444, I got one of each. I picked up a Moby wrap and a more structured Tula Free to Grow carrier. Both can be used from the newborn stage, and the Tula can be used as a backpack style carrier once baby is larger

If you wear your baby out, what do you do about a diaper bag? I have a diaper backpack but there’s no way I can wear that and my Ergo baby carrier. Then there’s no stroller to throw the diaper bag in. So what do you do? I’m wanting to wear my baby to her one month drs appointment this week but I’m trying to figure out logistics.

So I have done this a few times and I have always had the Evenflo baby carrier since they were always the ones given it gifted to me (the ones that wear like a backpack) but these hurt my neck, shoulders and back. Are the slings or wraps any easier on the body? If so, which ones do you mammas like?

I have a diaper bag backpack, and then I just carry her. If I had to park farther from the entrance, I would use the baby carrier. That way my hands would be free too!

i agree with pp. i’m a ftm but i imagine the backpack will be easier to handle. especially if you have your hands full with baby, carrier, stroller, your things, a purse if you carry one, etc. you don’t have to worry about a back pack slipping off your arm or anything. i’m going with this one!

We got this backpack carrier from Amazon and I absolutely hate it. I walked around the block and my shoulders were in agony. It also was a huge hassle to put baby in and get all set up. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm used to my ergobaby, but I'd like something that gave my baby a little more wiggle room.

My baby isn’t even 7lbs yet and he’s 5 weeks old. The carrier I have now won’t let me wear him until he’s 8lbs which seems so far away. What’re some baby wearing that you used when they were 7lbs? I have the backpack style not like a wrap
