Top reasons why this topic is getting popular

1. Exfoliation and Smoother Skin

Dermaplaning helps to exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells, resulting in a smoother and more even skin texture. It also helps to improve the absorption of skincare products.

2. Painless and Non-Invasive

Dermaplaning is a painless and non-invasive procedure that does not require any downtime. It is a quick and effective way to achieve immediate results without any discomfort.

3. Reduces the Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles

By removing the top layer of dead skin cells, dermaplaning can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful and rejuvenated look.

4. Safe for Most Skin Types

Dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. It is a gentle procedure that does not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, making it suitable for individuals with various skin concerns.

5. Enhances Makeup Application

Dermaplaning creates a smooth canvas for makeup application by removing the peach fuzz and dead skin cells that can make makeup appear uneven or cakey. It allows for a more flawless and long-lasting makeup finish.

Those irritated my skin. I prefer actual dermaplaning with a #10R blade.

I’d be up for a dermaplaning session, using razor, laser? for extreme facial exfoliation.

I use Michael Todd Sonic Dermaplaning Tool. You use a fresh blade each time, but the real action comes from the vibration, it is almost impossible to cut yourself and the results are so smooth. Both face waxing and threading leave my skin irritated and inflamed.

I Mitzie said: Get her a vintage Schick E2 to prevent her getting nicks and cuts. (A Wilkinson Sword/Schick Protector 3 or Lady Protector is another fabulous practically nick free razor albeit a cart') With shavettes and straight razors there's a learning curve, and yes, you will get nicks and cuts. I have an L1 and N1. Would they also be suitable for “dermaplaning?”
