What is a reasonable size for a firepit? The design so far is 14' but I just realized the firepit will be 4.8', which doesn't leave much space (4.6') around for seating. Is this too skimpy? I have Adirondack chairs to go around the pit. Wondering if I should off center the firepit, leaving more room on one side. Thanks for your input.

I have a gas line for firepit. I am thinking about getting a gas bbq to use. Is it easy to unplug the gas line from the firepit and plug it in the bbq? I use the bbq maybe 1 time per week so likely will switch back and forth 2 times a week.

Hello! We have a gas firepit in the front garden and I'm considering using it as a container for a winter display of evergreen boughs, berries, etc. Any reason not to do this? Has anyone tried/seen this before? I think using a shallow, inexpensive container buried in the firepit may optimize spring cleanup. I would LOVE your input.

Bit of an update on this. The solution to this is to use well seasoned timber, just has a fab evening with this firepit (August!!!) and it's no doubt that using well seasoned logs is the winner.

Hello, I have a rectangular patio that is 34 feet wide and 23 feet deep. I was thinking of doing a firepit in the middle... but I'm not sure what other furniture or things I should place on the patio. I need some ideas.
