"Cold brew" coffee is just coffee that was blended for cold brew brewing. Espresso coffee is just coffee that was created for making espresso. You can still use it for drip coffee or french press as long as you grind it differently. So if the cold brew coffee you have is ground it will not work in your espresso machine. If it is whole bean and you grind it for espresso you will be fine.

The only downside to cold brew really is that if you have shitty coffee it's going to be more over-extracted than it would with other methods. I really like cold brew, it's really nice in the summer or mixed maybe 50/50 with a decent Irish cream and I had great results in the past just filling a French press then putting it in the fridge without the plunger.

I drink coffee pretty much every day, sometimes twice. Grinder+French press, and I cold brew often. I get Philz coffee when I’m in a town that has one (DC or San Diego). Occasionally Dunkin Donuts if I’m out with the fam and need a pick me up. Never Starbucks.

How do you make it? - cold brew - French press - drip coffee maker - pod - Aeropress - pourover - Moka - Japanese siphon I do cold brew, French press and pods. Had Japanese siphon and pour overs at coffee shops. I think the best I had was Japanese siphon coffee. Need to try an Aeropress and a Moka.
