Hey guys, my son hated the infant carrier because I introduced it late and I also struggled to get the wraps to fit properly. I do have the infant bjourn which he did take too when he could be forward facing. Wondering if there’s another carrier you guys would recommend for a newborn? Would like to get it right this time so I don’t have to worry about him/her laying on her back too much.

We decided (after hours of researching) to go with the Nuna Pipa lite carrier and the Tavo stroller. But I’m such a hesitant person, I’ve done even more research now and I’ve heard amazing things about the Chicco Key Fit carrier. I’m curious if anyone has purchased either of these, which do you prefer? Our number one concern is obviously safety. Price doesn’t matter to us as long as baby is well ...

I have a new to us baby carrier that does not quite fit my husband. Any recommendations for an infant carrier comfortable for bigger dad's?

@Tacklegirl, yes I’ve heard this as well that some hospitals require the infant carrier to leave. I’d check with that first. But there are some moms who just get the all in one car seats instead, I found the carrier convenient but you’ve tried it and know how you feel about it so I’d say get what you are comfortable with and just check in with the hospital protocols.

I did an infant carrier/car seat with a stroller combo and a convertible car seat for when she outgrows the carrier. Everything was purchased by other people because it was on my registry. I’m a FTM so I may have been a little over eager, but thinking long term, my husband and I feel it was a good idea.

Get the infant car seat , you won’t regret it. My 6 month old just outgrew his and I already miss being able to strap him in inside and just pop the car seat into the base. It’s super handy to be able to take them into the doctor with the infant carrier too.
