Went to my 28 week appt and fetal Doppler said heart rate dropped to 100’s and went back up. Did Non stress test and ultrasound right after and all was normal. Any one else go through anything like this? Doctor said it was probably baby moving or pressing on her cord.

It’s very normal for their heart rate to go from the 150s to the 130s. It’s still twice as fast as ours. Re fetal movement, definitely get that checked out if you’re worried but the heartrate is normal / healthy range.

Anyone experience placenta being low partially covering cervix and had it adjust/reposition on its own? Does it have any effect on fhr? I am 13wks 3days and had sudden fetal heart rate rising to 200+ with low placenta after having two normal FHR ultrasounds. I’m just so confused.

No this is not too high at all!! That's a very strong heartbeat!!! Normal fetal heart rate is anywhere from 120-180 bpm. Most docs won't be concerned unless fetal heart rate is below 120 bpm, or higher than 180 bpm.

I use an at home fetal Doppler I’m 18 weeks, tonight when I was checking my baby’s heart rate like I always do it was irregular and really slow but then I checked it 2 minutes later and it was at the normal rate and has stayed that way. Should I be worried?
