Top reasons why this topic is getting popular

1. Health Benefits

Olives are rich in healthy monounsaturated fats, which have been linked to a reduced risk of heart disease. They also contain antioxidants, such as polyphenols, which can help protect against chronic diseases and reduce inflammation in the body.

2. Versatility in Cooking

Olives can be used in a variety of dishes, adding flavor and texture. They can be sliced and added to salads, used as a topping for pizzas and pasta, or blended into spreads and sauces. Their unique taste can enhance the overall flavor profile of many recipes.

3. Plant-Based Option

As more people adopt plant-based diets or look for vegetarian and vegan alternatives, olives have gained popularity as a versatile ingredient. They can be used as a substitute for meat or dairy products in certain recipes, providing a savory and satisfying flavor.

4. Cultural Influence

The Mediterranean diet, which includes olives as a staple ingredient, has gained recognition for its health benefits and delicious flavors. As people become more interested in exploring different cuisines and adopting healthier eating habits, the popularity of olives has increased.

It’s hard to beat the value of a $5 rotisary chicken made into a soup and eaten over several days. I like to use pinto beans and black eye peas. You can go spicy or sweet and change over the days from a soup to a burrito or taco filling. A cheap steak can work in the same fashion. Peppers celery a can of olives, mushrooms carrots. Get some tortillas. I like the Goya spices too.
