spudgun77 writes... So recommendations for good Non Stick fry pans for induction that last more than a year or so. We bought Scanpan when we got our induction cooktop 18 months ago. Still working well. We previously had Circulon for our gas stove and agree that they don't stay non stick for long.

We bought a Wolf induction cook top back in 2017. So far its been the best stove that we've ever had. As long as you use pots and pans with a flat magnetic bottom you shouldn't have any issues. “If the federal government is allowed to hold a monopoly on determining the extent of its own powers, we have no right to be surprised when it keeps discovering new ones.” Thomas Jefferson

Hi alexrander! Yes, I know that. My main stove is a gas stove. I do almost every cooking task there except boiling potatoes and things like that. Never frying och searing. Quite often I reduce things at the induction cook top and then I like to use frying pans, if I’m in a hurry. But, yes, to 95 percent I will use this frying pan on the gas. You would keep the pan? /Martin

A few years ago I was quoted $1100-1300 to run a line to the stove, about 25 feet. We went with an induction cooktop… would have preferred gas but we’ve been very happy with induction. Far better than the electric one that it replaced. We also already had compatible pans so there was no offset in expense to acquire new ones, so there’s that. This post was edited on 6/10 at 6:41 pm

Personally, I would head out to a couple of the big cheaper antique warehouses/barns or the local auction house - but I like 'old brown furniture'.  You will need to do a lot of measuring to get things to fit where you want. Make sure your pans match the stove you have - if it is induction not everything will work.
