It only needs two things to work, so if it's not the water supply, maybe it's the electricity? A quick look at the volts using a power monitor plug might be in order? My pressure washer will run from a bucket or water butt, the water wants to be clean though... RTFM before doing this, you may have to prime the supply hose etc.

For 99% of the tasks people roll out the power washer for, a hose with a nozzle would be completely sufficient. For the other 1% of tasks, you could achieve the same outcome with a hose and a brush. I get that they're kinda fun and satisfying and that sometimes they're faster than hosing something down. But they're noisy and needlessly complicated. For many tasks they're overpowered and wind up damaging the thing you're trying to clean. People, even suburban people, survived just fine without power washers until about 15 years ago. I've been researching for a while, and I've nailed my choices down to 2 models of the same brand. The nilfisk 180 excellent and the Nilfisk 200 premium, the reasons are that AVA isn't widely available and people tell me to avoid Kärcher as while they have plenty of features, they do not last. Especially the P200 has been one of the best reviewed models in it's price class, giving near industrial power/quality at an affordable price. That said, my use case is home usage, I do have quite a few areas that need regular maintenance, but I'll likely need a pressure washer 1-2 times a month on average (more in the summer less to none in the winter). So I'm wondering if the higher end model is worth the premium here, I live in Europe, with the accessories I need the E180 is 360€ while the P200 is 540€, which is a substantial difference. Ok so in the past 5 years I’ve gone through THREE pressure washers…. All ryobi or similar, all electric, all 3000ish PSI. I’ve avoided gas models because I am not that savvy with engines and upkeep but alas the day has come I’ve accepted my fate. I don’t power wash much… just the patio, siding etc. but I live in a rain forest and every winter my patio becomes distrusting. It’s probably only 15x25 but it takes me HOURS to get all the moss and grime off it. That’s probably why my cheap pressure washers have bit the dust so quick. It probably takes me 6hrs to clean my patio. Now I have learned about GPM and decided I needed more than 1 lol of note, I am on lake water and I believe my lake pump only accommodates about 5gpm. However, I am on budget of around 500-600$ CAD but open to spending more if it’s going to make a big difference. I don’t recognize a lot of brands… BE and Champion have come up. Interestingly I saw a vevor for very cheap to the point I didn’t believe it (I think it was 3400 psi and 2.5 gpm for less tha. $400) Looking for biggest bang for my buck.
