Does the meat get dessicated? I imagine it would after more than a day. I usually let the skin go soft in an airtight container, and if I'm not lazy, I'll do a small pre-warming in the microwave (no more than 30 seconds), then put it in the toaster oven with convection on. The crunch comes back. Works with steak too, minus the microwaving part.

I got a cheap steak from carrs, rubbed it down with cumin, paprika and chili powder, and am cooking it in my air fryer/toaster oven I intend to chop it up and put it in tacos
