I was taking a shower and when I got out I noticed my right ear was ringing. It’s very loud and annoying and I can’t get it to stop. I tried laying down on that side thinking maybe there was water in my ear, used a q-tip, and it’s still ringing. Is this normal? Or is a red flag? Anyone else experience this? FTM. 35 weeks.

So water got into baby’s ear and people are freaking me out by telling me she will get an infection! Is this true or should I chill out? Also, ended up using a baby q-tip to try to clean her ear and tip of a tissue. Ugh I feel guilty now for poking her. Smh 😞😞

It’s not really recommended to use cotton swabs on anything but the external ear. Pour warm water over the ears during bath to help loosen wax. If that is not enough, you can use a syringe to put a few milliliters of mineral oil gently into the ear canal, massage, and then rinse with warm water. Cotton swabs just push the wax back and can cause wax impaction and discomfort.

my son had ear infections all the times as ... only had one or two ear infections since getting them put... bottle propping can lead to ear infections so maybe make sure... use some ear plugs at bath time to make sure no water is... I invested in the putty ear plugs and they worked great... has only had one small ear infection and it cleared up... easily. Praying things get easier. Ear infections are no fun for ...
