Yes. Sculptra growing with a month-over-month change of 3.33% over the past 5 years, with approximately 90,500 monthly searches.

This is a seasonal trend that peaks every December. The seasonal demand is forecasted to decline over the next year.

Why is Sculptra trending?

1
Natural-Looking Results
Sculptra provides gradual and natural-looking results as it stimulates the body's own collagen production, leading to a more youthful appearance without the 'overdone' look often associated with other fillers.
2
Long-Lasting Effects
Unlike many other fillers that provide immediate results but require frequent touch-ups, Sculptra's effects can last up to two years, making it a more cost-effective option in the long run.
3
Versatile Treatment
Sculptra can be used to treat various areas of the face, including the cheeks, temples, and jawline, making it a versatile option for those looking to enhance their facial contours.
4
Minimal Downtime
The procedure involves minimal downtime, allowing patients to return to their daily activities shortly after treatment, which is appealing for those with busy lifestyles.
5
Growing Popularity of Non-Surgical Options
As more people seek non-surgical cosmetic procedures, Sculptra has gained popularity due to its effectiveness and the increasing acceptance of aesthetic treatments in society.

My Sculptra and Morpheus8 experience and results
Hi! I thought I would make this post for anyone considering Sculptra or Morpheus8 or both. Last year I had four vials of Sculptra total, two in May and two in late July or early August. I was 55 at the time. My main concern was the fact that the left side of my face looked like it was melting off of my skull. I slept on my left side for 45 years which resulted in my left side being thinner and losing volume, being more wrinkly, and sagging. I started seeing this around 51 or 52 years old. It got really bad really quickly, it was wild. I was very self-conscious about it. The Sculptra helped a lot, it definitely added volume and lifted the skin, but I still had so many wrinkles on the left side of my face and my neck was looking bad. I bruised pretty badly both times, I included a couple of pictures from of my bruising. I was fastidious about the “five, five and five” (after you have sculptra done, you need to massage your face for five minutes, five times per day, for five days). Morpheus8 was recommended for skin tightening and additional collagen, production, and honestly, I originally thought Morpheus8 was a scam for some reason, maybe it was the name but it sounded like a gimmick to me. After seeing the results of other people and learning more about it, I decided to give it a try. I had my lower face and neck done, starting just under my nose and going down to the bottom of my neck. I’ve had two sessions so far, one in September and one in December. I really like the results and plan on having another session soon. Pain: for me, the Sculptra injections were very painful. Some people say that they couldn’t even feel the injections or it felt like a worm wiggling in their cheek, that wasn’t my experience. It was bad. It wasn’t so bad that I didn’t go back for more, lol, but it definitely hurt for me. I love the Injector who did it and feel that she really knows what she’s doing and has a great eye. But it hurt. For the Morpheus8 I went to a different person, a nurse practitioner at a different Medspa. I wanted to have laughing gas during the Morpheus8 because I heard that it was painful and the woman who did my Sculptra doesn’t offer laughing gas unfortunately. The Morpheus8, which is micro needling with radio frequency energy, tightens skin and stimulates collagen. For the first 20 or 25 zaps of the Morpheus8 device, I hardly felt anything. As your face heats up from the heat of the machine, the pain increases. I am definitely glad I opted to have the laughing gas and personally wouldn’t have this procedure done without it. I know I sound like I have a very low pain tolerance, but I have broken several bones in a few different accidents, including breaking my nose twice (I broke two bones in my nose each time), breaking my arm, my neck, I broke my ribs twice, I broke my kneecap in half, and the pain from the Sculptra injections was probably worse than any of these experiences except for maybe breaking my nose. But believe me if I can do it, anyone can do it, and it’s over pretty quickly. Cost/Location: the Medspa I went to for the Sculptra was having a special and the sculptra vials were $550 each, I had 4 total. For the Morpheus8, it was $750 per session for my lower face and neck plus $100 each time for the laughing gas so it was about $850 each session. I live in Los Angeles and there are so many Medspas here that pricing is pretty competitive, I’ve seen much higher prices and I’ve seen lower prices. I feel what I paid for both procedures was very reasonable. In the photos, the “before” pictures are on the left and the “afters” are on the right, and in the photos that have one picture on top of the other, the before picture is on top and the after picture is on the bottom. I tried to use examples with similar lighting and clarity. I also get Xeomin injections every 7-8 months and have 1 syringe of lip filler in my upper lip to help it match my bottom lip a bit better. Thanks for taking the time to read this and let me know if you have any questions. Sorry for any typos! submitted by /u/Jcaseykcsee to r/45PlusSkincare [link] [comments]

44yo, 6 weeks post 1 round of Sculptra
Because I spent ages looking for before and after Sculptra pics, I just wanted to share what I'm seeing 6 weeks post my first session (1 of 3, each session will be spaced out 2 months apart). I'm 44 years old, I'm very slim, especially in my face, which completely hollowed out after turning 40. Everything just kind of sagged. I had one vial in my face and one in my neck. I'll do the same again in 2 weeks and then 2 months after that for my final (third) round. For these pics, I'm sitting in the exact same spot in my house in front of a window with no makeup on. The results are so subtle and natural looking but exactly what I wanted, I feel like the hollowness is starting to fill out again which is starting to pull things back into place. I'm really excited to see the final results after my third round. submitted by /u/okayestfriend1 to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

If you've had Sculptra, what was your experience?
I'm wanting to add some volume to the midface to help with cheek hollowness and nasolabial folds. I've heard good and bad things about Sculptra for these things. I've read some comments from people saying it did nothing, some said it made their face way too full and some said it actually migrated and created jowls. I'm not at the point of doing a facelift and I don't want fillers. What's the verdict on Sculptra for the issues I'm looking to resolve? Thanks for any responses! submitted by /u/tesapelibe to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Subcision with Sculptra
I tried sooooo hard to get the same lighting in both photos for you guys! Same time of day, same spot in my bathroom, same iphone camera. lighting still looks a little off but i think i see some improvement 4 months after my fist subcision and sculptra session. I have also been taking collagen supplements, don’t know if that helped but why not try? Do you guys see some improvement there? I have another session this week. I am also doing at home microneedling, very mild TCA peels, and medical grade skin care. submitted by /u/ProfessionalGood9286 to r/AcneScars [link] [comments]

Remember me? :) sculptra + fanning subcision
EDIT: These photos show the before and after: the “befores” are from 1.5 years ago, prior to ALL of my treatments, and the “afters” are from today in the morning. Fraxels gave me so much improvement overall over the span of a year (except for the temple area) and then this most recent treatment of the sculptra gave me the most improvement in my temples, which fraxel couldn’t do even after 5 treatments. It has been a long journey. Even with the huge improvements I've had, I still have bad skin days depending what I eat and how oily I am. For me, oiliness= more pronounced scars. Also, my scars look worse in the evening when I’m more oily. Skin is a reflection of diet, and when I eat clean and drink a lot of water, and exercise, my skin looks brighter, smoother, and overall more glowy. Hi everyone!!! I posted about a year ago sharing my acne scar progress. I later updated that post to clarify that my seemingly amazing results from Fraxel Dual were actually just due to micro-swelling. Since then (over about 1.5 years), I’ve done 4 more Fraxels (one combined with Morpheus8), one UltraClear laser, and another Morpheus8 session just for my temples. I kept going because my derm reassured me my scars would continue improving—but I was getting increasingly frustrated, especially since my temple scars weren’t responding like the rest of my face. I told my derm I was worried that all these energy-based treatments might have thinned the skin in my temple area too much, which is why those rolling scars weren’t improving the same way. I’ve gotten a lot of messages from you guys, so I wanted to share a full update: Fraxel (5 sessions total): • Forehead scars: \~70% improvement • Cheek rolling scars(these have always been very shallow): \~50% improvement • Temples: \~25% improvement UltraClear: I didn’t notice any visible change or improvement after 3 months. Let’s say it maybe helped my scars 10% as I’m sure it had to do something…. Morpheus8: I personally didn’t notice any improvement in my scars. It did have a temporary “tightening” effect but I noticed this definitely faded after a few weeks and my scars somehow molded back to their original depth. At this point, I was still really frustrated with my temples. I was hoping to get them to at least 85–90% improvement (this is the area I’m most self-conscious about), and around 80% overall for my face. Luckily, I have a sister in Mexico who’s a doctor, and she connected me with one of her dermatologist friends. Her name is Dr. Yareni Salas in Roma Sur, CDMX. She treated my scars with 1 vial of Sculptra using a fanning subcision technique, concentrated mostly in my temples, plus micro-injections of Sculptra into individual forehead scars. She did not do a full subsicion treatment, but I could hear all of fibrosis popping when she injected the sculptra across all of my face with the cannula. Honestly, this has been the biggest improvement I’ve seen from anything I’ve tried. The “glow” I have now is something I used to only see the day after using my tretinoin at night. But now my skin looks like that EVERY SINGLE day since the treatment. My scar depth has noticeably improved, especially in my temples. I’d say this finally got me to around 85% improvement in my temples, which is exactly what I was hoping for. My forehead and shallow cheek scars also look much smoother. And as a plus, this treatment in Mexico was WAY cheaper than 1 fraxel in the U.S. It’s only been one month, and I know results will continue to improve because sculptra is a bio stimulator that tells your body to produce more collagen. so I’m feeling really hopeful. Usually sculptra’s results will last up to 2 years due to natural aging, so maintenance will be required but I’m okay with that if the result is this consistent glow. I will keen you guys posted. Of course, good skincare and microdosing accutane has played a huge role…but that’s been consistent for the past 2 years. I’ve been religious with sunscreen, tretinoin, azelaic acid, and gentle cleansing twice a day. I also use other actives (vitamin C, AHA/BHA, hyaluronic acid, etc.) a couple times a week, but I’m not as consistent with those. Please let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to refer to my last posts for more details and photos during my prior treatments. As a reminder, I had already tried several sessions of normal microneedling, skin peels, etc before all of these treatments. submitted by /u/Teachmeyourwaysplz to r/AcneScars [link] [comments]

Sculptra :(
I’m 36 and I got Sculptra because I was told it would give a subtle lifting effect. I was very clear that I did NOT want more volume, since my face was already naturally full. Unfortunately, the result has been the opposite of what I wanted. My face now looks rounder, puffier, and heavier — especially in the lower area. It’s been almost 3 months and I see no improvement. It doesn’t look like normal swelling anymore, it just looks like added volume. This has been very emotionally difficult because I feel like I lost my natural facial definition. Has anyone experienced this and actually saw their face slim down again over time? If so: • How long did it take? • Did anything help (massages, exercise, lymphatic drainage, time, etc.)? I would really appreciate hearing real experiences, especially from people who saw improvement after several months. submitted by /u/LogicalAddition6243 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Sculptra results?
I'm struggling with bad nasolabial folds and pre jowls at 42 and am in no way ready for a facelift rn. I've been told to stay away from filler as it'll make me puffy and migrate etc. but that Sculptra is a great option. However I was quoted upwards of $3K for sculptra; which I'd be willing to pay for great results but - everything I'm seeing online isn't inspiring me much? The before and after photos are just..sure there's soooome extremely subtle "refreshment", but, it absolutely doesn't look like, $3K worthy results if you know what I mean. Like it's barely there and from a first glance the face looks more or less the same - nasolabials and marionette lines are still there etc. And these are the pro photos posted on clinic sites so I imagine they're the best and most dramatic results they have to show. I don't want to pay this much and go through four sessions of injecting etc only to barely see a difference...ugh. I've heard of Radiesse being a more instant results option but not sure it it'll still have the risks of traditional filler . Anyone who's had either done can weigh in and show pics if willing?? Sculptra or Filler?
I’m 45, and after about losing about 15 pounds I’m feeling quite self conscious about my jowly cheeks and nasolabial folds. I already use tret, and I’m trying to be more consistent with my red light mask. Now I’m considering a little cheek filler or a few vials of Sculptra to give my face some shape again. Has anyone of a similar age had success with either of these routes? I’m just starting to gather information. submitted by /u/Dog_Cuddles to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Face after losing 196 lbs
Overall, I’m feeling like a brand new person. It’s wonderful. But I’m 43, the fat filled out my wrinkles. Now my eye bags stand out worse and I have nasolabial lines. My forehead wrinkles. Is there anything I can do besides surgery? I’m hydrated. I only drink water. My skin texture is great. I have a decent skincare routine. I don’t use tret yet. Only OTC retinol. But I can even see a positive difference in the skin texture in this before and after. I had no skincare routine in the before picture. But now I just hate the folds around my mouth and my wrinkled forehead. submitted by /u/AccomplishedEmu7751 to r/40PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

I just got Sculptra!
I just got it done at a med spa, one vial per side. I was injected with lidocaine, and it still hurt. I’m currently very swollen, but I was told it should go back to my pre-injection state within a week. At six weeks, I should start seeing results. I go back for two more vials at the end of February. Fingers crossed! First photo is before and the rest are immediately after. I’d love to hear about others’ experiences. Was it worth the price? Any complications? Kim (right) Sculptra or BBL?
Did Kim use Sculptra or a BBL? Sculptra is an FDA-approved filler designed to provide lift and natural fullness to the butt. The thing is, it doesn’t look natural. In recent years, butt augmentation has grown in popularity. Sculptra is an excellent alternative to the Brazilian Butt Lift and other invasive techniques meant to make the butt perkier and rounded. Sculptra, Renuva, Laser Damage, Oh My
Alright there’s a lot to unpack here y’all. Let me break down everything I’ve had done to restore my face after getting laser damage which destroyed my facial fat and left me with saggy cheeks, horrific smile lines that belonged on someone 10-20 years older than me, and hyperpigmentation/scarring. These photos are both with the SAME amount of make-up (mascara only) and NO filters. There are minimal changes in my weight between photos. I’m actually 5 pounds lighter on the right. I have nothing to sell you. I just want to help cause this whole thing was a nightmare for me. I almost got a facelift at 33! Left: 7 months ago. I had already tried fat grafting which was a complete failure. Every doc kept telling me I HAD to add fat to the cheekbones to lift away the smile lines and that adding volume directly to smile lines wouldn’t look good. Guess what? Adding fat to my cheekbones solved nothing! I had lost volume all around my mouth area due to the laser. I still looked bad and was very miserable. Right pic: Now. Gorgeous, glowing skin. Soft smile lines. Face restored to how it was before the damage. What I Did: 12cc of Renuva total. Renuva is a fat matrix sourced from cadavers and is injected into the skin. It stimulates your body to generate its own fat. I credit most of my comeback to Renuva. I had it placed literally ALL over my face everywhere from cheekbones down to my jawline. 3 vials of sculptra. I’m not sure what the sculptra did exactly, but here we are. I had it placed in all the same places as Renuva. Quit using nicotine. My eyes became clearer. My skin quality became much better. I credit a lot of my now-glowing skin to this- it is NOT an afterthought. Red light therapy and other good skin care products. Just taking care of my skin in general. This isn’t what healed my smile lines, but the hyperpigmentation and scarring finally went away. Unrelated to the laser damage, I got a revision rhinoplasty between photos. I also QUIT getting botox, as it was causing droopy, puffy eyelids. That’s my face glow-up story! Hope this can help someone. There’s hope if you’ve lost face volume due to a heat device. submitted by /u/Safe_Place30 to r/PlasticSurgery [link] [comments]

Found Broyhill Sculptra dresser on corner for trash pick up 😱
On walk yesterday in our neighborhood and no more than 5 house down was a Broyhill Sculptra dresser sitting on the curb! Our eyes were like 👀. Knocked on the door and asked if it was free to take and they said yes! Had great convo with the neighbor, they found it 15yrs ago in a thrift shop and didn’t need it anymore. Took it home and going to clean it up to store the kids toys in. We already have 3 other pieces from this collection, so it was a nice find…….maybe one day I’ll come across the mirror that attaches to the back of it. submitted by /u/bunnyhaas to r/Mid_Century [link] [comments]

The Sculptra look:
This has happened to me. I think it looks puffy and unnatural. Features get swallowed up by the volume and it creates a strange shape to the face. Anyone out there going through this that has had success minimizing the volume? I’m scared when I look in the mirror. Sculptra Results
Hi! Just wanted to show some “before and afters” I took after having Sculptra for people considering it or wondering what it’s all about. I’m 55 and the left side of my face seemed to lose volume rapidly after age 50, the right side is OK, I still had Sculptra injected in the right side of my face but not as much as the left side. Left cheek and chin were hit hard by volume loss. As far as the left side of my face goes, let this be a warning: I slept on my left side exclusively for 40 years and the left side of my face paid the price. It became thinner, drawn, saggy, gaunt, more wrinkly, and everything we try to fight as we age. It was noticeably thinner than my right side, and it just DROPPED so fast. Shockingly fast. My right side is still pretty full and normal looking, it looked to me like I had 2 different faces. My left was grimmacing and melting, and my right side is normal and full. I was so self conscious of it and I obsessed over it. I originally went to my girl to have fillers but she said she thought Sculptra would be a good choice so I read up on it and decided to give it a go. Hey, it’s just your face, right? 😉 for me, it was incredibly painful, probably the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced and I’ve broken/flattened/.crushed my nose twice and it broke in 2 places each time, I’ve broken various ribs, I have had lips, botox, Dysport and xeomin done and those don’t bother me, I broke my arm, kneecap, neck, and none of those hurt as much as the injection process of Sculptra to me. Holy shit. I might have extra sensitive cheeks or something m, but it was brutal. I’ve heard some people say they could barely feel the injections which I can’t comprehend. They have to go deep down through multiple layers of skin and spread and place it, and all I know is I dread the process of application but like the results so far. My girl is amazing and a “certified injector” of Sculptra, and I know she has to go down deep with the stuff. It was just mind- blowingly painful for me. Yet I went back for more. 🧐 I had 2 vials injected about 2.5 months ago and 2 vials injected about 3 weeks ago. So there is still orogress to be made, and it’s not perfect, but it’s doing what I hoped it would do which was return the volume to my face and lift the sagginess and drooping. I also had it injected in my left temple (right temple was fine, no need for sculptra there) I would absolutely do it again, and will do it again for maintenance. Let me know if you have any questions! submitted by /u/Jcaseykcsee to r/45PlusSkincare [link] [comments]

My Sculptra Before and Afters
I had two vials of Sculptra injected. Vial #1 was 3 months ago. Vial #2 was 1 month ago. In the first pic I am sitting in the clinic’s office waiting so I have numbing cream on my face. Second pic is just me at my house this morning. The lighting is a bit different but I hope the increased volume and softened jowls and smile lines are apparent. I’m happy with my results and I think the improvements will continue over the next couple of months. submitted by /u/Vegetable-Whole-2344 to r/45PlusSkincare [link] [comments]

Sculptra experience (another data point!)
Hey ya’ll, Long-time lurker here—I recently got Sculptra and really appreciated (and relied on!) a lot of the generous folks who have posted about their experiences here, so wanted to do the same. Obviously the usual caveats: I’m just an n of one, mine is not a universal experience, results vary—but I figured another data point for anyone considering this procedure never hurts! The details: I’m 36/F and my skin is in pretty good shape, but I’d started to notice that my upper cheeks/under eyes were just looking a little tired. I currently get Botox, and my NP injector suggested Sculptra as a path. I got one vial in my mid-cheeks, lateral cheeks, and jaw line. Where I am it usually costs $800/vial, but they were having a winter special and I got it for $650. My NP used anesthetic beforehand, so it didn’t hurt at all—I will say that I have a lot of tattoos and a fairly high pain tolerance, so make of that what you will. It DID feel super weird, tho—I was very aware of the pressure of the syringe/fluid against my cheekbones and jawline. I didn’t find it particularly bothersome—mostly just interesting—but I could see how that might be freaky for some folks. I looked a little silly immediately afterwards (pic 5) and was fairly swollen the next day (pic 6). Swelling subsided by day 3, but I did have some bruising that stuck around for a week (I did not take arnica beforehand and I bruise easily). Did the 5-by-5 massages with no problems—some tenderness/soreness, but nothing that I found particularly unpleasant. I will note that the first day I could feel/hear the product in a couple places—a sort-of “crunchiness”, for lack of a better word—but that’s apparently pretty normal and only lasted a day. I had my 6 week check up this week; befores are above, afters are below. The difference is pretty subtle in (what I think is) a good way. This is exactly the result I was hoping for, so I won’t do another vial (and my NP didn’t recommend one). General plan going forward is just maintenance—another vial in a year or two to replace this one. Hope this is helpful to anyone considering biostimulators, and thank you again to all the folks that have already shared their experiences with Sculptra on here. :) submitted by /u/zuzusnaps15 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

2 month Sculptra Update
Got 1 vial of sculptra Nov 26, and here is my (almost) 2 month update as of Jan 21, 2025. I’m now 2 months post treatment, so here’s my update w pictures. The results are very subtle but that’s what I wanted. I saw significant improvement around 2 weeks post treatment, and I feel like the improvement goes away and comes back depending on how hydrated I am & how much protein I consume (more water and protein seems to show better results). My smile lines and nasolabial folds have improved, and I’ve gained a tiny bit of volume in my mid face area as shown in the pictures. I know that peak results take up to 3 months, so I can update on this further down the line. I do plan on getting another vial sometime within the next 6 months because I want to yield more results. I def saw results on 1 vial so far, but I’m def looking for more improvement on top of what i’ve already seen. Interested to hear anyone’s input or perspective, and I hope this helps someone! submitted by /u/bunnyfusiness to r/cosmeticsurgery [link] [comments]

Can anyone speak to the long term (2+years) outcome of Sculptra?
I’ve researched sculptra a bit and found that it can last 2 years and even up to 5, but on Reddit have not been able to find anyone talking about how it looks even 1+ years later. I would like to hear from those who have had it done years ago-those who have and have not had touch ups done. I am especially interested in what it looks like years later from those who have not gotten successive injections to maintain over the years. submitted by /u/allchattesaregrey to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]
