VDA20 Cappadocian Conversion - Mortis to Necromancy
Hey gang. I was hoping for some advice. I am trying to line up the old Mortis powers to the new VDA20 Necromancy paths and I need a little help from someone who might be a little more familiar with Necromancy sourcebooks. I am able to find path abilities or rituals that replicate almost all Mortis abilities accept for Awaken and Plague Wind. Awaken can awaken a vampire from torpor and Plague Wind allows Black Death against a group. Anyone able to help me out? Edit: We've found Awaken! Thank you for your help. Still looking for Plague Wind if you have any ideas. submitted by /u/LanceCharger to r/vtm [link] [comments]

On the historical reception of the eschatological views of the 'Cappadocians fathers (and mothers)'
Hi all, I compiled another post about the reception of the books written by the Cappadocians (Gregory of Nyssa, Gregory of Nazianzus and Basil of Cesarea). In the case of Gregory of Nyssa, there is evidence that his writings caused interpretative controversy over time and those who believed he* wasn't an universalist weren't consistent about how to interpret the 'problematic passages'. They were read either as interpolations by 'Origenists' or as referring to a process of purgation of only some and not all. Here is the link for those interested: https://ancientafterlifebelifs.blogspot.com/2026/01/on-historical-reception-of.html I managed to find only a very scant evidence for interpretative disagreements in the case of Basil and Gregory of Nazianzus. N.B.: The main aim of this post isn't to discuss the textual evidence of universalism in any of these figures (although I make a very brief case for Gregory's and Macrina's universalism and provide some link in which the textual evidence for other figures is discussed). My main interest here is to present the reactions that their texts (and perhaps oral teachings?) inspired in later thinkers. *Given that 'On the Soul and Resurrection', a 'socratic dialogue' in which his sister Macrina the Younger is depicted as the 'teacher', it might be reasonably inferred that Macrina too was an universalist. submitted by /u/Flaky-Finance3454 to r/ChristianUniversalism [link] [comments]

Vampire the Heresy
Me and my friend tried our best to make a family and faction chart from Caine downwards. It's intended to be used a reference document. Did we miss anything? It's supposed to be on V5 and what factions and bloodlines would still be around and doing much of anything. Tear us to shreds. Minor note: Tzimisce was supposed to be part of Enoch but got moved around by accident. And Nagaraja was supposed to be separate but we made an oopsies. Both of us stand by our Lilith assertion because we think it's cool and that she embraced her daughter and that's more thematic than Enoch or Irad. Edit 2: https://imgur.com/gallery/vampire-really-heretical-v5-some-additional-bloodlines-faction-map-iRQNWWU Here is an updated chart with fixed lines and also added Gargoyles and Kiaysd submitted by /u/Doc-Jaune to r/vtm [link] [comments]

Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian (+ 1924) (November 10th)
The most-righteous Arsenios of Cappadocia was born around 1840 in Farasa or Varasio, in Kephalochori, one of the six Christian villages of the region of Farasa of Cappadocia. His parents were rich in virtues and good deeds. They had two boys, Vlasios and Theodore (Saint Arsenios). From a young age they remained an orphan and was cared for by their aunt, the sister of their mother. Young Theodore was miraculously saved in his youth by Saint George. This had a great effect in the lives of the children: Vlasios glorified God in his own way later in life by becoming a teacher of Byzantine Music, while Theodore later became a monk. Continuing to grow, Theodore moved to Nigde and after to Smyrna to continue his studies. When he was about 20 years old he went to the Holy Monastery of the Precious Forerunner Flavianon, and later he was tonsured a Monk and took the name Arsenios. Unfortunately he did not have much time for hesychia, because at that time there was a great need for teachers, and Metropolitan Paisios II ordained him Deacon and sent him to Farasa for teach letters to the neglected children. This naturally was done in secret, with two thousand precautions, so that the Turks wouldn’t learn what they were doing. At the age of 30 he was ordained a priest in Caesarea with the title of Archimandrite and the blessing to be a spiritual father. Thus began his spiritual endeavor to grow and extend. With the bounty of Divine Grace which was bestowed on him God healed the souls and bodies of the suffering people. He had much love towards God and towards His icon, man, and not for himself, for, when he saw much pain and repression by the Turks, his love left outside of himself and outside of his village and embraced the surrounding villages. He healed indiscriminately the human pain of those he met, whether they were Christians or Turks. To the Saint it didn’t make a difference, because he saw each person, as the icon of God fashioned with much love. Countless are the miracles with the Saint worked with the Grace of God. Pregnant women bore children, after he read a prayer and gave them a phylacto which was a piece of paper written with some prayer that he wrote himself. The Saint read the Gospel [over the sick] in serious circumstances, such as for the blind, mute, lame, paralytics, demon-possessed, and they became better, as soon as he finished the reading. Many Christians and Turks had been healed, after taking soil from the doorstep to his cell and mixing it with some water and drinking it, believing that they would be healed, and their faith they had in the Saint, worked the miracle. He naturally never accepted money or even a hand. He would say continually “our faith is not for sale." His cell, small, unadorned, was located in the world. He lived in the world, but at the same time established to live outside the world. In this, and for his divine feats, he was much aided by the two days (Wednesday and Friday) when he remained locked in his cell, in prayer. These bore more fruit spiritually, because they blessed the work of the other days. For hours he remained on his knees praying to God for His people, which he had entrusted to His servant Arsenios. The great sensitivity of the Holy Father did not allow him to do any harm to creation. Especially to animals. He never rode on an animal to tire it, that he might rest himself. He always preferred to travel as a pedestrian, and he did so barefoot. He had before him Christ Who never sat on an animal – except for one time – and as he characteristically said: “I whom am worse than the donkey, how could I sit on it?” To hide his virtues from the eyes of men and to flee from their praises, he took refuge in certain “eccentricities”. He appeared strict, angry, irritable, snubbing different women, who from love towards him and gratitude tried to help him, in various ways, to cook for him or to send him food. He characteristically said however to his faithful friend and chanter Prodromos the following: “If I had wished to be served by women, I would have become a married priest and my wife would serve me. The monk who is served by women, is not a monk." The inhabitants of Farasa would say “in our Homeland we did not know of any doctor, we ran to Hatzefendis [what the people would call Saint Arsenios]. In Greece we learned about doctors, but when we tell that to others, it appears strange to them.” Among his other gifts he had the gift of prophecy. He had learned from God that they would be leaving for Greece and this took place on August 14th 1924 with the exchange of populations. He learned previously about his death and that it would occur on an island. Before the departure Saint Arsenios hastened to baptize all the unbaptized children. One of these he asked the parents to name Arsenios instead of Christos, the name of the child's grandfather. He said characteristically with the prophetic knowledge: "You want to leave a child at the grandfather's foot, don't I want to leave a monk at my foot?" Thus, as Elder Paisios mentioned in his book on Saint Arsenios, he either foresaw that he would become a monk someday or he bestowed a spiritual inheritance on this young child. Either case indicate a holy person. Three months before his repose the Panagia came to him, and took him around to all of Mount Athos, to the Churches which he so much wished to see but was not able to, and said that in three days he would be presented to the Lord, Whom he loved so much and have the whole of himself. He reposed on November 10th 1924. On February 11th 1986 he was acknowledged a Saint by the Ecumenical Patriarchate. "Father Arsenios proclaimed true Orthodoxy with his Orthodox life. He mortified his flesh in asceticism from his ardent love of God, and modified souls with the Grace of God. He believed deeply and healed many, believers and non-believers. Few words, many miracles. He experienced much and hid much. Within his hard outer shell, he concealed his sweet, spiritual fruit. A very harsh father to himself, but also a very loving father to his children. He never beat them with the law.… As minister of the Most High, he did not tread the earth, and as co-administrant of the sacraments he shone upon the world.” (Elder Paisios of the Holy Mountain)" The full biography and miracles (which are very many) of Saint Arsenios was compiled by Elder Paisios of the Holy Mountain, and is published by the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian in Souroti (founded by the Elder) with the title: Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian. A large portion of Saint Arsenios' Relics currently reside at the church dedicated to him at the Monastery of Saint John, where they continue to work many miracles. It was originally believed that cappadocian Greek was extinct. However it was later discovered to have a small number of speakers in basically the middle of nowhere.

My players' OCs for Jerusalem in the Dark Ages are the Tzimisce lady merchant, the Byzantine line, and the Cappadocian scholar from Solern. Art by Змеиный клубок
Amedea di Grimaldi was a Tzimisce from Byzantium, engaged in the silk trade, and came to Jerusalem to further her interests. Caspar Rosenzweig, a Cappadocian on the Road of Bones who can hear ghosts, came to Jerusalem from Salerno to search for answers to questions of death and self-education. Both characters had to deal with the potential awakening of Malkav, fight the Baali, and feel the intrigues within the Holy City. submitted by /u/ComfortableCold378 to r/vtm [link] [comments]

Guide/Review to Clan Cappadocious + Giovanni and it's bookedmarked charachters 2/15
Clan Cappadocius Last updated 15-7-2025 for patch 1.17.1 9 Bela Rushenko duke of Moesia Antiquety 6 patches ago difficulty 9 fun 5 It is a very hard campeing, it is not a matter of wether your vassals will stage a coup but a matter of when their generally diverse religions only agree in that you should be killed and with good reason Not only that but you are terrible at martial, your counties religion is Noddist (which hates you) and do not have access to advanced Blood Magic (which is the great equaliser as off current patch) and are of a pretty high gen so you can forget about stronger ghouls, not that you would be able to afford them because Moesia is not particularly rich even if you do need to title to not be just shallowed by another ruler. What you do have however is advanced Cappadocian necromancy and advanced dominate. Dominate is pretty Rng but it can be used to keep your vassals and masquerade in check (while your faith dosen't care about the Masquerade it could be useful if and when you switch). It's one of the campeings where you have suboptimal tools to deal with hard situations but those tools should be enough. Necromancy is a decent discipline although your path is pretty bad, in fact I it's best use is probably for stress loss and keeping the masquerade from falling too low but what you want to use it for is for keeping your vassals and foreing rulers in check through the use of Skeletons. While not powerful they are a somewhat inexpensive way to boost your numbers very significantly which may deter the AI from attacking you (the Voivodate and the Sea of Shadows tend to keep to their own problems) and could keep your vassals away from meeting the threshold needed for their faction. Your house CoA is a raven and that's what you want to be through the early game. Attack only weaker barons with no alliances (or that you can besiege fast enough to peace them out before they get help, siege racing might be a good idea in some of these wars) and getting through Kupala quickly is your best option . If you move around the Epirus region your sacrifices shouldn't affect the overall development of Greece, I would advice never sacrificing duchy capitals (as they are useful early on) and just killing off baronies. After you are done with you'll have a more solid presence in Greece, you should be in a somewhat powerful position from which defend your infernalist shenanigans from the rest of the world but you'll probably want to wait and fully take over the more productive areas of Greece and consolidate a good income. You'll also want to change to via Diabolis , via Quitiare is the poor man's via Diabolis both make you hated by everyone but via Diabolis has better holy sites and actually enables the demonic landmarks. I'm not sure of wether you would want instantly doom your reputation by instantly going all over the demonic landmarks or actually try to boost your economy and chill for several decades before going nuts, it's not like most people are gonna like you anyway but getting them without being able to afford upgrading them isn't great.. Going through the demonic landmarks will make even your vassals hate you + you changing religion but that's why you probably shouldn't go wide and just hold certain domains in Greece. Clan Cappadocius' Legacy of Byzar perk will help you inmensely through all of your campeing as it means a lot of extra income. The Larp as an evil necromancer is nice though, specially with updated necromancy. But the guardian of the Necropolis is better at that, I guess Bela fills more of a "demonic necromancer" role, more like Drachenfells or Kemmler from warhammer Fantasy while Angelique is purely about necromancy and magic. https://preview.redd.it/fhy70dvnljwe1.png?width=334&format=png&auto=webp&s=ae1d5b252064bb49d8405e1605dbfe4ee7d96e61 Should be played in Hunters and hunted for infernalism and binding demons. Japhet (king of Eryces/Cappadocia) Antiquety 7 patches ago difficulty 6 fun 7 Japhet is just a really solid charachter (one of the strongest and the strongest discipline wise and starts in a good old culture) in a pretty interesting region. You have the rising Tah Mel Ra to your north , the Diet of Olives to your south (which somehow the AI keeps in line often) and either the Order of Azaneal to your east on the kingdom of Mesopotamia. None of these are an inmediate threat even if they all have a bone to pick with you and you start with a good enough realm and charachter that I would argue that you could dismantle all of them somewhat easily (except the kingdom of Mesopotamia because the Sword of Islam is a great general) but any of them may result in rare and uncommon enemies. Like an 8000 year old necromancer who's special content is having to take care of his insane godly sire leading a reclusive order in Cappadocia against: - Vampire Crusaders - Demonic warlords - Mystical Armenians that use wraiths to fight - A renewed Yihad for Bizantium - A hedonistic Egyptian cult It's something that feels straight out of a setting like Warhammer Fantasy or Trench Crusade, makes me sad that war in Ck3 is as bare bones as it is. War also gets you prisioners you can execute for free xp and piety. If you feel bonely and want to play co op, Japhet's childer Constancia the Oracle of bones might be a good option as your goals mostly align and you don't want to go wide anyway as Clan Cappadocian is mainly focused on hoarding knowledge and overextension can be harmful, instead I recomend seizing key holdings in northen Egypt , Palestine or dev Greece through Constantinople. Although I personally like conquering Palestine or Egypt better as it is more rare to play in that area and Egypt's has more to do with death as it was really important for Kemetism. This way one of you could focus on Greece and the other do another region, Japhet starts having to manage foreing affairs as Constancia's liege and then when Constancia forms Clan Cappadocius you can switch around. https://preview.redd.it/wezxjghsljwe1.png?width=489&format=png&auto=webp&s=458549a656637ae84c1fcb8531dfe88bc1108a12 Can be played comfortably in both start dates Dionysius (Duke of Athens) Antiquety 5 patches ago difficulty 6 fun 6 Another not very hard campeing in the region is Dionysus. It's not bad and it has some nuance in being more focused in learning and a bit better for dev since he can use the Athens landmark and has schoolar, however I feel he is a bit redundant with Japhet Constancia and Natalya, he has special content in that he has special interactions while training his new childer but that he shares with Durga Syn, otherwise is just a Natalya campeing in which you have more income (because you are a cappadocian and because of House Hekata) and have cheaper building costs because you have an older culture but smaller domain limit. It's not bad by any means and you can actually also exile to Egypt but I don't see much of a point to it given that your purpose right now is supposed to be helping greek human refuges, if you like Naltalya but like Clan Cappodocious better than Brujah or you want to play a Cappadocious campeing which isn't challenging but don't like Japhet or you like the idea of abusing the Legacy of Byzar but don't like having a campeing more focused around the more magical parts of WoD or believe that necromancy being consider evil regardless of circumstance is dumb and like seeing necromancers that are good people you might like Dionysius. I will go into further detail about the Hekata later on. https://preview.redd.it/0ejilftgmjwe1.png?width=209&format=png&auto=webp&s=22645e9a93daaaa4b0da98464130643b7054d0b4 Mistress Angelique (Followers of Lazarous) Antiquety 5 patches ago difficulty 6 fun 9 - This charachter isn't bookedmarked but it's accesible in both start dates and has a couple of follwers as unique content I had a blast with this campeing, I focused it around the search for the Sargon Codex as I figured that even if it took too long for a landed ruler to get them an adventurer could probably have some fun searching for them around the world. Adventurer cappadocians are fun, in general the mod implements adventurers better than base game as you have more stuff to do (specially as the Cappadocians), I'm not gonna talk about the various artifacts you can look around for as I consider it a bit of an spoiler but it really does feel like you have more things to do in PoD, specially as a cappadocian/Giovanni as you can explore the Umbra , seek artifacts , perform necromantic rituals look for the codex, bind wraiths and advance the ashen adventurer trait while you explore. In general necromancers are more incentivasied to be more agressive and participate in more wars as you can spam rituals to get troops for free that will make your war contribution bigger while costing you nothing, you can amass quite the horde of shades because while some undead can only be re risen at war the shades can be risen at any time, unlike the minions of the Marmora (Tmiszce monsters recruited by Koldunist magic) skeletons are permanent which I really hope it's not an oversight. So you go through the war selling your necromantic magics to the highest bidder while accompanied by an inmense horde any kindred with a brain would love to posses without the need to spend any provisions for them because they are already dead (do NOT hire normal skeletons though, only recruit through rituals) , which is great as that is the main reason you can't go wide as an adventurer in CK3 or PoD As for Angelique herself she has a good stat line and belongs to house Lazarous which at this time are willing to sell their service to the highest bidder after coming to blows with the rest of the clan, so you get a minus dinasty opinion but a + 30 different faith opinion , given that your religion is inmensely niche . most will be glad to see you around and hier your shambling horde as relatevely inexpensive mercenaries. Her skeleton self also looks really cool imo https://preview.redd.it/r9j4dxvxnjwe1.png?width=312&format=png&auto=webp&s=7d08c7d69e630bbadda788d9e53309e9b428a98c Futhermore you can start right away to seek the Codex because you start with one of the pieces, the enochian shard, if you are willing to give it a bunch of tries (and for go the opportunity to give it to cappadocius) get the Enochian culture at game start which grants better knights and later on better domain as it's the best culture of the game. You can also try to awaken your sire , Lazarous, who has a pretty decent statline but is more interesting lore wise and starts as one of the better cultures if you don't mind the army cappacity restriction. Hebrew is great because it starts with one of the best traditions in CK3 and PoD , mystical ancestors, specially useful when you settle in as Clan cappadocius is the one with the least prestige. Finally if you are rping reconciliation you could settle in Greece for the Constantinople reward and if you want to play as an exile you could chill out in Iberia and interact with the struggle as as far as I know there is very little Cappadocian lore about them in Iberia. There is also Scandinavia which might interest you specially for an interaction between the special Einhar artifact and one of the endings of the Sargon Codex as you don't care about dev as an adventurer you could have stockpiled quite a bit of gold use your caravan for more reagardless of dev https://preview.redd.it/tyv3200tnjwe1.png?width=485&format=png&auto=webp&s=998fc49b1faa49041c68c43fbcda153060add67e Chose start date depending on wether you want the Iberian Struggle or demons to be around the map Clan Cappadocian overview difficulty 7 fun 8.5 I really love the fact that depending on their age they turn to skeletons when in Torpor or at 0 blood, it really drives home the point that they are the vampires that focused on undeath and I really love that it actually affects their model in game. While not great necromancy is cool and it really feels like you are playing as a reclusive clan that just hoards knowledge while chilling in Cappadocia which is also a unique region + you get unique stuff regarding the Lamia bloodline which is also cool. Legacy of Byzar also encourages a particular play pattern in which you want to be at high stress for as much extra income as you can get while not going overboard and gettin one of the worse events, I haven't found it this version despite me fooling around with stress too much but there used to be an event which would instakill you at 3 stress so in order to actually profit from Byzar it was necesary to learn to manage stress in depth which was a nice minigame, now failing to manage stress is less punishing but Byzar being their best legacy by far makes it so playing as them have more potential than the Brujah while also needing more carefull management, Byzar and their objectives also enables them to go tall and not care much about going wide or what's going on in the world, it also carries them early game as often the starting economy of the Cappadocian charachters is pretty bad. How enjoyable you find them depends on how much do you like to Rp as a necromancer that's just chilling in his tower as he keeps collecting knowledge or leads a mercenary warband They tend to be either somewhat humanitarian like Sibir or Dyonasius to just care for knowledge and Cappadocius himself like Japhet or Constancia or completely rebellious evil schoolars like Lazarous or Bela. I do find regretable that the Conspiracy isn't a bigger deal and has more events related to it but I think that would be my only complaint. I think it would be fun to have to try to rebuild your clan in exile (specially now that adventurer has been implemented) . Even if Clan Hekata falls way outside of the timeframe given that they intend to implement Final Nights at one point I think that being able to get it sooner could be cool. I think that a dynastic legacy tree or house/dinasty modifier reflecting which branch is currently dominant within the Clan of death could help reflect the progression and changes of the clan as the Giovanni get integrated into it. Also after completing the Sargon Codex stuff I think it's one of the best written event chains of the mod and I loved it, i don't want to spoil what happens in either ending which is imposible if I say what they do, I'll just say that if you are playing multiplayer KEEP TABS ON WHETHER THE GIOVANNI/CAPPADOCIAN HAVE THE FRAGMENTS. I read a comment a few weeks ago about how it would be cool if every clan had the hability to ascend in an unique way like the Tmiszce with Ahzi Dahaka and I think that Sargon delivered on that pretty well, I also hope they keep some of the discipline rewards after implementing magic It's one of the more complicated clans to play correctly, you have magic, you have artifacts, you have small domains , you have charachters with poor statlines, you have interactions with the Umbra, you have to manage wraiths and artifacts ... It's a clan that's best left not played until you have more knowledge about PoD. https://preview.redd.it/qdd9nxtemjwe1.png?width=487&format=png&auto=webp&s=0361c36b692fde50f8df6e10616c2569788faa17 Could be played in both start dates but she is already hard on vampires and hunters probably make it even harder for her. I also played Ambrosio 3 patches ago but I don't remember anything from that campeing aside from the fact that claiming the book of sargon gave some extra leaning lifestyle xp and less stress gain which is NOT what happens anymore. Clan Giovanni Lucretia Giovanni (Countess of Turin) 6 patches ago difficulty 8 fun 7 I like Lucretia because she is a good example of a hard start being rewarded by strong modifiers a -30% stress win and a +30% lifestyle xp is pretty good and you can't do the typical exile to Venice strat you can do with a lot of single baronny counties and you must initially plead fealty to the duke of Lombardy to have chances to survive. So what I recomend doing is sieging fast Novarra so his allies can't help him (Montefero will be a harder siege as it is controlled by a ghoul and has a concentric castle) then you can plead fealty to Lombardy and try to get Venice . After that you probably want to just increase your rank and become the ruler of the Giovanni family (who might have already been crushed, if not just rebel and get the other barony forming the kingdom of Venice from them) while starting attacking France for good baronies. You however can't relax as Camilla is in your south and is trying to unite Italy, you might want to plead fealty to one of the big boys (Either Tremere Avalon through their baronies in Aquitane or Black Cross) in order to avoid Camilla's conquest so you can start seizing Cappadocia and uniting France. There is some nuance to who you might want to chose but it is very likely you won't be able to deal with Camilla on your own. The Tremere are good because I don't think the Giovanni care for the Prime Curse and if sucessful it will ruin many of your rivals, but it can also ruin some of your councillors and mainly primogens (tbf you probably want to get Constantinople instead of Rome) so you might want to make sure they are unable to cast it, the Tremere are also not as sucessful as the other 2 so being their vassal might not be enough to deter Camilla from attacking you. The Tremere are also more often at war so they might just ditch you if they are at another war the AI would rather fight. The Code of Tremere is not a bad faith, Via Osseum is cool as it helps you winning learning xp and faith for free through executions, so you can just drink a bit from a mortal , then arrest them, then execute them and win free stuff in exchange for a bit of tyranny. However once you get the perks you want you will want to ditch it. The Code of Tremere gives worse lifestyle xp win and more stress but extra domain limit which is great and both are compensated by Lucita's bonus. The Fiefs of the Black Cross are good because Julia Anastasia often ends up ruling them and she is Eternal Consul so by siezing Rome you can make her fulffill her objective and convert to that faith winning it's diplo bonus without having to actually seize much land and deal with overextension yourself. It also tends to be a powerful stable realm. If your capital is in France you might also get the event where either Hardestat or Julia offer you a reward in exchange of being their vassals The baronies of Abalon are good if for some reason you want to do the setting the Sun objective or commit to Mithranism which isn't a great faith but has some cool landmarks and it's objective is pretty strong. Is a strong strong , powerful and stable realm the best in that regard out of the three although I've also seen it crumble sometimes. You might also adopt Mithranism freely if the event pops up in France. By fullfilling the Conspiracy you can finally prove that CK3 is equal parts strategy game and RPG by playing as a teenager that ends up killing god. https://preview.redd.it/3lvdkk73ojwe1.png?width=358&format=png&auto=webp&s=4123fef36618862261901e13e9104b20e2fe6a7a Clan Giovanni overview difficulty 6 fun 6 Wouldn't have given a separate overview if not for the Cappadocians turning into skeletons which I really like. I feel like Venice not sharing dev with adjacent baronies cripples Clan Giovanni, it dosen't help that Italy is surprisingly bad to dev in both CK3 and PoD. Maybe I'm biased since I like Cappa lore better than Giovanni anyway who have always struck me as the worse Italian clan compared to Lasombra but I think that adding something like a Landmark similar to what Polish Tmiszce have to Italian Giovanni/Lasombra/Ventrue could help the region a lot or giving them a special upgrade to the Dodge Palace, a modifier like what Cordoba has (+dev in realm capital) I think would help them. As it is the Giovanni don't even have access to the few dev landmarks of Italy unless they convert to a christian path which feels like it breaks canon , it's weird that the Tremere have more clan exclusive landmarks in Italy that the Ventrue and Giovanni and the same as the Lasombra. It also dosen't help that the clan that's a family based on THE trading republic exists in a game that has no trade implemented at all. I hope that coming CK3 dlcs focusing around Italy make the region more worthwhile. It also feels bad that what should be the lategame clan dosen't have anything going on once the Conspiracy (an objective that's not hard to do) .Clan Cappadocian is as mystical as you would expect but the Giovanni aren't as enteprenurial as you would expect. You do have the hability (as every other clan) to play eugenics with ghouls which can be fun (and adds another layer of complexity on top of all that the cappas , but you aren't as good at it as the Tmiszce with their will over form even if the family gives you candidates from time to time, personally I don't like it as it implies too much min maxing for benefits that to my awareness aren't that big it . https://preview.redd.it/yin9bkllojwe1.png?width=361&format=png&auto=webp&s=cb244c0c82fda4a3033ea1634cc720feb372f859 Other guides/recomendations (being worked on) Clan Brujah (focused on warfare, knights, income , low complexity, starter friendly) Clan Lasombra (Focused on intrigue, terror , playing wide , stress management, magic, umbra, mid complexity, could be hard for begginers) Clan Toreador (focused on diplomacy, playing tall, unique buildings, white peaces, recomended for begginers) Clan Tmiszce (focused on stat growth, vissicitute, special regiments, recomended for people with some expirience in the mod) Clan Ventrue (focused on domain, conquest, vampire regiments, recomended for people who enjoy playing wide or dislike disciplines, begginer's friendly friendly) Discipline discussion and tier list part 1 (Tiers S-B and discussion) Discipline discussion and Tier list part 2 (Tiers C - D) Clan Banu Haqim (focused on war, assasination and their struggle in Persia, recomended for people who enjoy intrigue and war ,recomended with people with some expirience in the mod) Clan Gangrel + Anda (focused on war, raiding, diverse discipline arrays, recomended for people who enjoy war and playing wide recomended for begginers) Clan Malkavian (focused on stress, stat increase , late game and debuffs recommended for people with a significant expirience in the mod that don't want an straightforward playthrough) Religion ranking and discussion part 1 (explanation as to how things are ranked and the best religions) Religion ranking and discussion part 2 ( the lower tier religions and final discussion points) Clan Nosferatu ( focused on survival and intrigue recomended with people that want a hard playthrough) Clan Ravnos (focused on the house bonuses with their Jati objectives and diversity aimed for people with some expirience in the mod) Clan Setite (focused on Egypt, faith and seduction, recomended for people that enjoy intrigue) Clan Tremere (Focused on domain, it's unique religion the code of tremere and blood magic, recomended for people that enjoy the use of this discipline) Kindred of the East (focused on stat growth, the Umbra and stress management, recommended for people that want to try their exclusive powers and have experience with the mod's mechanics). Today, exactly 581 years ago, Augustus Giovanni enacted his coup on the Cappadocians, só I ask: what is your general Outlook on Clan Giovanni?
As someone who had been drawn to the concept of death my whole life, Clan Giovanni was one of the more interesting clans in my book. The problem with them for me is the fact they are all assholes. I ran into a similar problem with the Shadow Lords Tribe in WTA. As a tribe valuing brain over brawn, and associating themselves with lighting atorms and crows, they instantly stroke my fancy, but, well... I already told you. 😅 submitted by /u/SneakySpider82 to r/WhiteWolfRPG [link] [comments]

Why does only one state become Cappadocian, and only two Pontic?
