I hit the absolute jack pot when I reached out for a lunch trade with Chick-fil-A today and I need to tell someone about my experience.
So as per usual I was trying to figure out my Saturday snack for my store but I’m especially broke these days so I called a few local spots to offer up a trade. I can offer 3-4 pizzas and I have 4 people to feed. Zaxbys seemed confused by the whole ordeal and it was questionable they even knew their own location so I called Chick-fil-A up, it was around 1:45. The kid on the phone was really polite and handed me to the shift lead and *yall*. Oh my lord this woman had zero hesitation what so ever. She was like “yeah of course I can hook you up for four people, would you like meals?” For each of us? “Of course!” So I order 4 Sammy’s. Keep it simple. She takes my order like I just pulled up to the window so happy, and she offers brownies to which I was like fuck yeah! So I go to their store and I have a fat ass Ultimate, Extrav and a 6 Cheese with a pan pizza I made into a cinnamon monkey bread of sort and a brownie. Double cut everything and loaded up on sauces. These people are all so thrilled to see me. I just felt so seen lmao. Idk how to put it but they all said hey and they let me to the side to unpack my stuff and the manager chick tells a dude to go “put the stuff together” and he walks into the back. She looks at me so excited and said she’s got quite a bit of stuff for me so I’m like oh yeah? Cool, I made some off the menu shit for yall too! So the dude comes back with this huge bag and it’s full of our meal and they give us 4 extra meal coupons and 4 milkshake coupons! And brownies and meals and what the fuck did I do to deserve this? They bout made me cry. So I get instantly thank the manager and ask for her number so I can make future trades and all that. She gives it to me and as I’m leaving the dude that’s a customer that I guess overheard and saw the whole thing was like “so *thats* what I have to do to get a girls number*. LMFAO. TRADES ARE TOO EASY FOR YOU TO NOT ASK! The worst thing they can do it say no thanks, so move on to the next. SOMEONE will take you up on it. Seriously guys. Do you get your own pizza a day? Yeah? Make it and take it to a fast food chain. They’ll happily give a meal for a za. Moral is ass now more than ever. Everyone is sick of their own food and would love something new. Oops the pizzas out and ask your op first. Local breakfast joints are great too for openers. I have a bagel shop I get leftover bagels from, about a dozen and whatever flavor I want and I make 4 small pizzas for the workers. Chick-fil-A ‘Free Delivery’ Costs 30% More — Why?
Has anyone else noticed the massive price markups for delivery? I got a notification in the Chick-fil-A app saying I had a free delivery reward, so I tried to use it tonight and was extremely disappointed! I order Chick-fil-A at least 4 times a week, sometimes even 6. The salad I always get is $10.15 for pickup in the app. But when I switched the exact same order to delivery, the price jumped to $13.19. For two salads, that’s over $6 extra just in menu markups. With other fees, it ends up $7–8 more before even tipping the driver. It feels misleading to offer “free delivery” while raising the price of the food by 30%. This is through the Chick-fil-A app itself, not a third-party service like DoorDash so it’s not like a third party is taking a cut. Has anyone else noticed this? Why is the food more expensive just because it is being delivered? submitted by /u/Bitter_Art_4094 to r/ChickFilA [link] [comments]

I lost 70LBs thanks to Chick-Fil-A
Around the end of October in 2025 I(M20) weighted at 263 pounds.I saw myself in the mirror and realized something had to change. I was done being fat and wanted to get in better shape. I started to go to the gym in November for 5 days for my first week, but my diet was horrible. I’m current working at Chick-Fil-A and eating like shit was so easy because of the good food they had on the menu. In addition, I don’t how to prepare meals in home so eating right was difficult for me. As it turns out, Chick-Fil-A had great healthy options on their menu. It was also very accessible for me since I had discounts working there. For breakfast shifts, I eat the egg white grilled muffin with a fruit cup as the side. As my journey progressed, I made modifications to my meals to meet dietary needs and calorie goals. For the egg white, I would removed the cheese and added tomato and sometimes bacon. For lunch shifts I first started with 8CT grilled nuggets with the side salad. Very low calories with veggies but not too filling.Later on, I would removed the shredded cheese with the salad and added sliced egg and corn. Next, I eat the grilled sandwich with either the fruit cup or side salad. Lastly, my go to CFA salad is the Cob salad. I replace the fried nuggets on the salad for grilled nuggets. Later on I would removed the cheese and bacon and added more corn instead. Here some basic information about my meals Egg White with no cheese, added tomato and bacon: 305 Cals, 28G protein Fruit cup: 70 Cal Grilled Chicken Sandwich: 330 Cals, 28G protein 8CT grilled nuggets: 130 Cals, 25G protein Cob Salad with grilled nuggets,no cheese or bacon, added extra corn with fat free honey mustard dressing: 335 Cals, 32G protein Side salad with no cheese, added corn and sliced egg with fat free honey mustard: 150 cal, 3g protein This is what I’ve mainly been eating for the past 5 months now and combined with regular workouts, I lost 70LBs and I’m currently at 193LBS. CFA has been hard carrying my diet for a while and I probably won’t make half the progress without CFA. My work is not done and I’m motivated to bettering myself so I won’t be fat again submitted by /u/S0meRandomN00B to r/WeightLossAdvice [link] [comments]

Chick-Fil-A fries are only liked because people like the restaurant itself
Chick-fil-A fries are often considered amazing, but that reputation is largely influenced by the popularity of the chain itself rather than the quality of the fries. Chick-fil-A has a strong brand image and loyal customer base, many people assume everything on the menu is superior. However, the fries themselves are average: they are lightly seasoned, frequently inconsistent in texture, and often become soggy quickly. The waffle shape is the only unique thing about the fry, but it does not add much flavor or crispness compared to fries from other fast-food chains. People tend to praise the fries simply because they're associated with Chick-fil-A, including friendly service and just liking As a result, the fries are overrated, not because they are exceptional, but because the chain’s reputation makes customers more likely to view them favorably. submitted by /u/Mother_Cod7506 to r/unpopularopinion [link] [comments]

Chick-Fil-A tests the market for new S’mores Milkshakes in Austin, TX
This milkshake comes with toasted marshmallow-flavored whipped cream (which tastes wonderful) and of course mixed in graham cracker pieces. I am so lucky to live near one; they were even handing out free milkshakes to people too. I wrote some positive feedback on the survey, here’s to hoping this becomes a nationwide menu item! They are also offering a S’mores Frosted Coffee, which I didn’t try yet, though I think the marshmallow cream is the winner on this one. Chick-Fil-A: “This hand-spun, nostalgic treat is inspired by the campfire favorite flavors of s'mores and combines a custom blend of cold-brewed coffee and our signature Icedream® dessert mixed with toasted marshmallow-flavored syrup and fudge-covered graham cracker pieces. Available in select locations for a limited time.” submitted by /u/33Lanz to r/ChickFilA [link] [comments]

How does Chick-Fil-A not have chicken Ceaser salad ?!
I realized the other day while eating my salad that chick fil a has literally had the same salad offerings for over 10 years . How do they not offer the number one most popular salad type ? The girly pops out here love chicken ceaser and they could do chicken ceaser wraps . Like who is their menu idea person that has not capitalized on offering one of the world’s most popular salads? The Asian chicken salad , Cobb, market , and ceaser should be their salads. Bye southwest - it’s been fun but I’m over it submitted by /u/Flgirl420 to r/ChickFilA [link] [comments]

Chick-fil-A taking orders at the car window is annoying.
I’m sure they do this to be more efficient, but I don’t prefer it. Even if I’ve been somewhere a zillion times, sometimes I want to look at the menu for a second without someone standing over me. I also frequently take my dog with me wherever I go, and having to keep him away from the person while ordering and trying to pay is just annoying. (Save the comments about just teaching my dog to chill) Edit: I did not mean to imply that I’m undecided when ordering. I meant when you pull up to other places you can casually take a scan of the menu before they take your order. I always am ready to order when they come to the window. Unpopular opinion... We don't need another Chick-fil-A on the south side...
It's mid at best, just fast food. The lines get ridiculous for no reason. And having those poor people hunching over you car all day is terrible. If you want me to order all the way back here, put the menu/speaker back there... Ordering at Chick-Fil-A causes me untold anxiety. The fact that an actual person follows your car standing too close in your driver’s side window and expects you to order before you even get to see the menu is a horrible business model.

AITA for telling my fiancé’s sister that chick-fil-a tenders has buttermilk when that was her favorite place
Hey guys I (20F) on Black Friday was out with my fiancé (25M) and his family consisting of dad (54M), mom (53F), grandpa (78M) and sister (14F). His sister has a long history of ED and has severe OCD, for this reason she doesn’t eat dairy for the most part, or gluten or sugar. We went out of Texas Roadhouse and she, let’s call her Marie, was super excited to have the chicken tenders which is why she chose the restaurant. I have dairy, severe GI issues, have a strict plant based, low sugar diet for those reasons I couldn’t really eat anything there. Which I was totally fine with as long as the fam was eating. Marie was looking at menu already planning on ordering the chicken tenders until she saw they had buttermilk in them. Then decided she wasn’t going to eat anything since it had buttermilk and that was the only thing she wanted. I tried to gently tell her, “Hey it’s no big deal to have buttermilk. I thought you guys were eating dairy every now and then. You really were excited for the tenders you should have them. And since you eat Chick-fil-A all the time it’s no big deal.” Me being stupid I thought she knew that cfa tenders have buttermilk to which she responded, “No they do not”, and I told her “Yes I worked there but it’s not much.” To which she proceeded to call a cfa and then asked to use the bathroom while getting up she said “Move I need to go to the bathroom since some people don’t know how to keep their mouths shut.” I proceeded to get up and leave after receiving messages from her saying “Thanks so much for ruining cfa my favorite place for me. I hope you’re happy. PS the dessert you had last night had eggs and dairy :)”. Now my fiancé and I are not on speaking terms with her as she thinks I did it maliciously and that I should apologize. I don’t want to be there for Christmas with her because frankly she makes me feel like a pos and my mental health has been not too good lately. And I don’t want any drama that always manages to happen when we’re with her. I was wondering AITA for ruining cfa for her and for not apologizing. Which is now preventing us from coming to Christmas even though we would love to spend it with his dad and grandpa. His mom insists we should be a family and that she has her issues but that she wants us there. However his sister sent him a text earlier telling me that I can’t come without an apology and that he is welcome but I am not. Sorry for the formatting I am on my phone. Edit: clarified she has an eating disorder and OCD that contributes to the food she eats. submitted by /u/sheced04 to r/AmItheAsshole [link] [comments]
