Great read. Stay the course and finish it!! It’s one of those books that you’ll come back to certain thoughts and ideas later and they’ll hit harder. Also, many books will refer to concepts from that book as cornerstone ideas. Read it in 2019 and I still come across stuff from it and think about it now. What did you read before this book and what’s on deck for your next book?

@Sarah414, great ideas! I have really been thinking of blocking off the deck and putting activities out there! Aside from the phone call issue, he also is just not entertained anymore! Its pretty wordy, but I hope yall get the idea. Trying to figure out a way to encourage a playstyle around multiple smaller blades played many times rather than one large blade, played once or twice. I think we need more ways to interact with Sovereign blade in general. Sisyphus Deck Blind Size is determined by previous Round Score +10% Green Stake that goes up to 15% Purple Stake that goes up to 20% So for example, the very first Small Blind is 300 points to win. If you beat the blind with a Round Score of 700, then the next Big Blind will have a score to beat of 700+10%=770 Bosses would work the same way apologies is the terminology of the card is not perfect Maybe each Ante would add an additional 25% or something so you can’t just cruise by with a scaling joker. Would obviously need to play test to get all the numbers fine tuned but I think you get the idea. I've been playing Commander for about 5 years and have made plenty of Commander decks, such as Xyris, Rin and Seri, Ashaya, Kresh, Queen Marchesa, Atla egg defender, Brenard, Charix, Arcades, and so many more. I absolutely love to deck build in Magic (sometimes I think I enjoy it more than the game itself), but I'm afraid I'm running out of Commander ideas. I'm mainly looking for outside-the-box commander deck ideas that do unusual things, even if they aren't exactly optimal for the game.
