Sprive - Reduce your mortgage with gift card purchases
Sprive is a free app that offers money back from gift card purchases that pays towards your mortgage. They also help you set money aside by letting you do a one off top up or setting up an auto save direct debit payment that can be paid towards your mortgage. This can be fixed, variable or turned off if you don't want it. They also host various mortgage offers on their app if you're interested in seeing what you might want to remortgage to. By using my referral, you and I will get Sprive Plus. This gives access to more retailers towards your mortgage. I will also get £10 and boosted cashback in their weekly prize draw. Once you have your own account, you can refer others and get £5 and these other perks. You can get gift cards for many retailers including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury, Amazon, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, Iceland, Ikea, Etsy, Boots and many, many more. The gift card cashback has very high returns based on your mortgage and spend. The cashback is made up of a fixed percentage and interest you'll save from overpaying your mortgage. I shop at Sainsbury and Tesco so I save a fixed 2.5% cashback plus 5.2% in mortgage interest totalling 7.7% cashback when buying a £10 gift card. If I bought a higher amount like £50, I would earn 10.26% cashback as the higher fixed cashback would pay my mortgage more and save more in mortgage interest payments. You can choose to hold onto this cashback or send it to your mortgage at any time. Money saved through your auto save direct debit or one off top ups can be withdrawn to your bank anytime. As of today, the lenders that work with Sprive are: Nationwide, First Direct, HSBC, Lloyds, Barclays, Santander, RBS, Virgin Money, Halifax, Natwest, Yorkshire Building Society, Coventry Building Society, Accord Mortgages, and TSB Bank To get Sprive: Sign up with my referral link If the referral code doesn't show, add in the code: 41HAY2RK Link your bank account through open banking (it doesn't have to be the bank with your mortgage). Need cards, and small gifts/trinkets!
Hello Etsy community, My boyfriends birthday, our anniversary, and Valentines day are all one after another in February...thus, I need to get started shopping soon! I'm looking for any smallish etsy stores that sell cards for all of these occasions (or can make them!). Additionally, while I have his "big gift" picked out, I need some little gifts or trinkets to give him. He likes Bigfoot, he's a blue collar worker, and loves taco bell 😭 Any ideas or items are welcome! Thank you in advance! submitted by /u/tomisadog to r/Etsy [link] [comments]

Physical Gift Cards
I’ve looked at Meijer, Kroger and Walmart for physical gift cards, but haven’t found any. Amazon has one, but it’s $50, which is higher than our gifting limit. Do they no longer sell physical gift cards locally? If not, I’ll get a digital one, and print the number on a printable voucher type layout. Sure I can find something on Etsy like that. submitted by /u/Defiant_Print_2114 to r/Shutterfly [link] [comments]

Gift Card Scam???
I got an etsy gift card from my MIL for $50 back in April, 2025. It's now November, 2025 and I'm trying to use the gift card for my holiday shopping. When I go to redeem the gift card, I get an error message that says "Hmm that didn't work—make sure you entered a valid code." I've copy and pasted the code, typed out the code, tried everything and it keeps giving me the same message. The terms and conditions of the gift card state explicitly that it does not expire, just that you have to be in the US to redeem it, which I am, and my Etsy account reflects that. I reached out via chat and got a ridiculously vague answer back from an agent: "After taking a look, I see that your concern has already been shared with the team. The team will respond directly to this thread if information is needed or with additional details for you. For now, please keep an eye on your email inbox, as you’ll be notified by email once they respond to your message here. You may also check back here in this Messaging window at any time for a response from them. We appreciate your patience during this time!" Not sure how my concern had already been shared with the team, since I haven't touched the gift card or Etsy since April. She gave me no reasoning, no reassurance, just "we'll get back to you" which I would bet everything I own that they never will. I found an email and reached out there, too. I got told: "Etsy gift cards in USD can only be redeemed and used by buyers located in the United States. If you are in the US, you should be able to redeem and use your gift card by shopping on the Etsy site or the Etsy app. Please ensure you are logged into your Etsy account and your account region is set to the United States before attempting to redeem your card. If you continue to have trouble, you can find step-by-step instructions here: How to Redeem an Etsy Gift Card." What the f is happening here? I'm getting absolutely zero help or support. If I can't redeem my gift card, then just credit my account $50...?? Or are my MIL and I just out that money? Etsy used to be so reliable when I was younger. What happened to it?? Has this happened to anyone else? Please help! I am a student so money is very tight. This gift card was going to be such a weight off my holiday-season spending! submitted by /u/idk_alaska to r/Etsy [link] [comments]

What can I get "for the office" with a $50 Etsy gift card?
*Thanks, everyone! I think I'm going to look at food options. Maybe some seasonally decorated macarons for Halloween! * Someone sent me a $50 gift card from Etsy because I solved their Outlook issue. I don't feel right using it for myself. I talked about it with my boss, and we agreed that getting something for the office would be the right thing to do with it. But what? I work in a cube, as do most of my admin colleagues. We have a kitchen with a Keurig, two full-size refrigerators, two microwaves, a toaster oven, and a crappy little cutting board. I was thinking of a new cutting board, but perhaps there's a better idea. Any thoughts? submitted by /u/Johoski to r/ExecutiveAssistants [link] [comments]

Got suspended on Etsy for using a gift card. Anyone got this problem or just me?.
I'm a 19-year-old who was trying to buy a body shell of an engine based on a Thomas character to make into a custom model. The Etsy seller had a saddle tank engine listed at a good price, so I rushed to my local Target to buy an Etsy gift card and redeem it. I used it to make the purchase, but after placing the order, the payment was still marked as "pending" and was taking a long time to go through. Later that night, I found out that not only was my transaction canceled, but my entire Etsy account had been suspended. I called the Etsy help number and got through to two representatives who could barely speak English. They asked me for things like my Gmail address, the product name, and the product number—only for it all to be pointless, because in the end, they just told me I’d be getting an email about my account. Excuse my language, but this was a complete mess. All I wanted to do was pay for an item, wait for it to arrive, and start working on my custom. But every time I try to do something simple, something bad always seems to happen. I'm hoping this issue can be fixed or that someone can at least explain how to solve it. But honestly, I don’t have much hope that they’ll actually do anything about it. submitted by /u/Hour_Combination4149 to r/EtsyCommunity [link] [comments]

Card was stolen by a buyer on Etsy
I've held onto my Pokemon cards since I was a kid and I have a bunch of base set holos in mint condition. I got my Charizard graded and had a buyer that wanted it on Etsy. I thought I could sell it off, grade the other cards, and have some cool returns. Well he signed for the card and the gift my wife made for him just as a thank you, then claimed the card wasn't in the package. Etsy refunded him the money and I was out of a childhood card. If anyone happens across this exact card, it would be very helpful if you let me know about it and it would be very appreciated. The entire episode really hurt me and my wife. She closed down her Etsy shop and hasn't looked back. Edit: Thank you all so much for the overwhelming support and advice. This has been an incredibly uplifting experience overall posting here and the communities responses. I have a lot of new avenues to continue down on potentially holding the person accountable, a lot more eyes looking for the card, and I found a truly supportive and well meaning community all today. I thank all of you, honestly and truly, from the bottom of my heart. https://preview.redd.it/hud37ggv9hid1.jpg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b6f56edd090936fc910c7801d1ad41df00e7001 submitted by /u/Jendalk to r/PokemonTCG [link] [comments]

Received a $100 gift card to Etsy for my birthday despite not needing anything on Etsy. Looking for suggestions on how to spend Etsy bucks in a strategic way!
Mother in law who knows me so well sent $100 in Etsy money to me on my birthday. I won't say that I don't appreciate the gift...it is $100.00...but I am drawing a blank on how I should make the most of this extra cash. I have made a few purchases on Etsy in the past. They were impulsive and regrettable. I was hoping some of you frugal friends could help me brainstorm how to use this money wisely. My husband and I are in the market for some new furniture. We primarily shop at thrift stores, but I would be open to knocking $100.00 of a reasonably priced piece on Etsy. The only problem with that is the shipping costs that have yet to be calculated. What the heck should I spend this money on? Any advice is appreciated! Thanks. Update: Hi, everyone! I did not expect this post to get this much attention. Thanks so much for all the great advice! I got a lot of cool ideas from this thread, and I was also able to put things into perspective. It would be nice to treat myself once in a while! AND...I have friends who may appreciate a gift every now and again! I will begin scouring the Etsy shortly. submitted by /u/freefloralcouch to r/Frugal [link] [comments]
