Despite playing most video games on controller, and not using my computer for much typing, I've gone through like 1 gaming keyboard a year for a while now. Each time, the switches start to skip and eventually stop working altogether. Sometimes it's related to frequent use, like the number keys for my password. But sometimes it's random. Like the "C" key on my most recent keyboard. It's starting to get annoying. Off the top of my head, I've gone through a Ducky 1 2 Mini, a Roccat Vulcan, and a Razer Huntsman Mini (although tbf I got that one used). Probably some others I'm not remembering too. I'm not trying to spend tons of money on some bespoke keyboard, but honestly at this point it might end up being cheaper for me in the long run. I’m looking to start investing into a new keyboard, from my old Corsair full keyboard. I don’t know much about keyboards, so something beginner friendly would be nice, something usable right out of the box. Don’t wanna get into mods and stuff. Just wanted to circle back on this: Thanks for all the feedback on the wooting vs keychron. I ended up going with a Keychron K2 V2 after seeing so many of you mention how solid the compact layout feels and how good the wireless battery is. Been using it for a while now and it's way better than my old one. No more double keystrokes or worn-out caps. Hi, I am writing this post because I am in urgent need of a new gaming keyboard. My current is the Logitech G513 one and it's been my one and only for like 3 years now. Some keys have started doing double and the most used keycaps are getting worn out. I've been reading on here and and come to a realisation to either get a Wooting 80HE, Keychron K2 V2, Logitech G PRO X TKL or Corsair K70 PRO TKL. I don't want a full keyboard so compact/TKL size is a must for me. My budget is $200 so I can afford each one. I thought to be loyal to logitech and get that G PRO, however I might be missing out on something better.
