RE:Baby Girl
Way too masculine. Wyatt would be soooo bad to have to grow up with for a girl. You're having a girl, for her sake name her as such. Gender neutral is one thing but Wyatt and Everett are just boys names. Plus Everett has Rhett in it

Our girls list: Ainsley, Emerson, Juliette, Landry, Mackenzie, Miller, Presley, Rachel, and Tristan We have found that we tend to like the gender neutral and not ultra popular names. Maybe you will notice a pattern of names you like and that will help you narrow it down. My twin sister named all of her kids after her favorite TV show characters :)

Any idea for gender-neutral names?
Hi everyone my baby will be born in a few months, my husband and I would like to choose a neutral name but we don't have any idea that convince us. We don't want to use Alex because my husband's name is Axel and they would be too similar and I don't particularly go crazy for names that end with -n cause lots of my relatives have them. I really want to choose a nice name and not finding one is really frustrating because the birth is so close. submitted by /u/0-_Lily_-0 to r/Names [link] [comments]

Unique boy/gender neutral names
I recently adopted this guy and I can’t decide what to name him. I have a list of over 100 names but none seem right for him. He has a brother named Summit. I had a dog named Seeley that recently passed away. I don’t care for people names nor food names. (I love when other people use them, they just aren’t for me.) I prefer unique names. Help please! < That’s my niece walking him, while he was still at the shelter. You can volunteer to walk the dogs so they get it leave the shelter for a bit. Gender neutral names that sound badass but not like a fictional character?
Hello! I'm looking to change my name (not legally, as I'm still a minor) and while I do love names like River and Pheonix, I want one that won't get me bullied and will likely still be relevant in my adulthood. So far my best bets are Noa and Ash. I feel like they fit me well and don't sound too flashy. But, the thing is, I'm a sucker for meaning in the smallest stuff, which means I really want to have a name that is much more than just a nice sound. With this, I'd like names with these and similar themes: Felines, Astronomy, nature, strength, rebirth, resilience, hope, ect. Just strong names in general. Though I'd appreciate it if there were no/few themes of religion. I'd like to keep them short and easy to pronounce, without sounding to feminine. More feminine masc names are fine, though. Go as overboard as you'd like with the lists, I love options :) submitted by /u/Birdsong67 to r/namenerds [link] [comments]

[Minor Trope that always amuses me] Characters with "Opposite gender" names
Bonus points if they aren't particularly Tomboyish/Femboyish otherwise (I just think all names should be gender-neutral) Teddy Duncan & Charlie Duncan - Good Luck Charlie (the Baby is Named Charlie cause it's short for Charlotte, while Teddy bluntly says In one episode that her name is not short for anything and her parents were just expecting a boy) A Boy named Sue - Johnny Cash/Shel Silverstein Song Dale "Barbie" Barbra - Under the Dome (the TV show At least, I'm not sure if that character exists in the book) Mackenzie "Mack" Hartford - Power Rangers Operation Overdrive (downplayed, cause I've always thought of Mackenzie as a girl's name, while Mack is gender-neutral) submitted by /u/Majestic-Sector9836 to r/TopCharacterTropes [link] [comments]

Gender neutral bathrooms are not safe.
"Trans women should use gender-neutral spaces." I see this every day online. Hear it on the news. I've had it said to my face. Yesterday, I flew from DFW to JFK. Right after security, I needed a restroom. Texas isn’t safe for trans people, so I played it safe — I used the gender-neutral bathroom. One minute in, a middle-aged man in a DFW uniform unlocked the door and walked in. No knock. No hesitation. Just opened the door and walked in. He wasn’t surprised. He didn’t leave. I had to yell at him for 20–30 seconds before he turned around and left (he was fully in the bathroom and was letting the door close). I was shaking. Terrified. Humiliated. I told the nearest staff. They brushed me off. “Not my job, call the white phone.” I did. The person said, “It’s not a big deal. You need to calm down.” I was still shaking. I called back from my cell. They reluctantly sent airport police. When they arrived, they told me: “It was probably an accident.” “It’s not a crime.” “There’s nothing we can do.” Unless I had his name (I didn’t), they wouldn’t even talk to him. So let me be clear: I followed the rules. I used the “safe” option. And I was still violated — and told by everyone in authority that it didn’t matter. I’ve learned what “gender-neutral bathroom” means for trans women: No privacy. No safety. No protection. So no — I won’t be using them again. Trans women are women. And we deserve better than this. submitted by /u/imathrowayslc to r/MtF [link] [comments]

What do you think is the most gender neutral name?
For me it’s Sam. You never know if Sam is a Samuel or Samantha. For context I’m Australian. EDIT: From my perspective in suburban Australia Sam 50/50 Alex 50/50 Robin/Robyn 50/50 if you don’t know the spelling Jamie 50/50 More masculine: Pat Chris Bailey Les Jordan More feminine: Taylor Avery Aubrey Kelly Kim Peyton came up a lot and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it outside of that footballer submitted by /u/abdje1639 to r/namenerds [link] [comments]

What are some TRULY gender neutral names?
There are plenty of names that can work for both genders, but usually they have more of a certain gender. For example Taylor is more common with girls, probably because of Taylor Swift. Riley can be used for both, but I’ve seen it more on boys. Rowan works just fine for both, but is becoming increasingly common with girls. I knew a guy named Quinn who got really fed up because so many people, upon meeting him for the first time, would say “oh haha I thought you’d be a girl!” So what are some names that, if someone told you their names without seeing them, you would genuinely not know if they were a boy or girl? The ones I can think of, at least in my area and age group, are Cameron and all of its spelling variations (literally is a 50/50 shot where I am) and Alex, although it’s dependant on spelling. submitted by /u/deathbykoolaidman to r/namenerds [link] [comments]

AITA for not giving our baby girl a gender neutral name
Wife (27F) and I (27M) are expecting a baby girl by June. We both agreed we wanted to know the baby’s gender just for curiosity since she is our first baby. We have been together for 8 years and married for 2. We have had the baby talk before and we discussed how many we plan on having, where, how far apart in age we would like them to be etc… names hadn’t been an issue until we found out the sex. I love the name Juliet for a baby girl but my wife says she doesn’t want any traditional girl or boys name she wants a gender neutral name in case our kids ever decide they want to transition. I agree there is some beautiful gender neutral names like Riley for example but even that name she says has become more female representing. I mentioned to her that most people who transition end up changing their names to one they identify with so even if we were to give them a gender neutral name they might end up changing it. I also mentioned some people change their names just because, my grandma being one of those people and I used her as an example but she won’t budge. Wife kind of threatened to not give me a choice and will tell nurses and doctors beforehand to not ask me for the baby’s information for the birth certificate. I feel it is ridiculous and a name shouldn’t take away any rights or opinions on my baby girl. I just need to know Reddit. AITA for not choosing a gender neutral name for our baby girl? EDIT: The names I had in mind apart from Juliet was Orion, Violet, Scarlet and Dakota primarily traditional girl names Names she’s chosen are Hunter, Scout, Payton, Rory, Morgan and Kai I would love to those who are making and are planning on making hurtful, ignorant, and homophobic comments to stop and not comment at all. My post is not about your hateful beliefs. Thank you. submitted by /u/TWbabyname to r/AmItheAsshole [link] [comments]
