Which HDMI cable should I get?
I don’t know anything about HDMI cable brands. I know the one that came with the PS5 is great, but I’m gonna need a longer one for my new setup. Which HDMI cable should I get? I know it needs to be an Ultra High Speed HDMI 2.1 cable, but I don’t know which brand is well known for their HDMI cables. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for at most a 6ft cable I think submitted by /u/roomcloudsnervous to r/cableadvice [link] [comments]

4K HDMI cable recommendations
Wassup everybody I was looking into upgrading my computer monitor to a 4K tv and want some HDMI recommendations not to long just 5ft. I was looking on Amazon but they were pretty cheap and I was surprised 😂thought they would at least be 15$ or something. I can’t complain though I like that but is that right are they supposed to be that cheap and what would you recommend thank you 😎 submitted by /u/mike24vNEW to r/hometheater [link] [comments]

Reliable HDMI 2.1 cables
I’m shopping for HDMI cables and was told I need a 50’ fiber optic HDMI cable that supports 4K @ 120hz. I see the usual garbage stuff on Amazon but is there somewhere to get a reliable cable without breaking the bank? I found one at Monoprice for ~$112. submitted by /u/schaudhery to r/hometheater [link] [comments]

That time I hyper focused and soldered an HDMI cable back together… it actually worked.
Sorry for the horror. I couldn’t find the final photo with it all heat shrinked up unfortunately. Also that small wire that isn’t insulated is a ground. submitted by /u/anothertemptaccount to r/soldering [link] [comments]

Is this a true hdmi 2.1 cable? How does Anker compare to Belkin for HDMI cables.
It has all the specs that every hdmi 2.1 cable has. I'm also a huge anker guy, it's the only company I trust for cables, blocks, or basically any mobile accessory for my iphone besides apple. Are there hmdi cables the shit too? It was only $18 on amazon and it's a 6.6 ft braided cable. The belkin braided 6.6 ft cable was close to $60?!?! I know Anker is a super reputable brand for phone accessories but I don't know much about their HDMI cables. What could possibly be so good about the Belkin cable that it's $42 more? submitted by /u/pineappleactavis to r/hometheater [link] [comments]

Good HDMI cable for long-term use
We’re choosing between UGREEN and Vention HDMI cables for our church monitors and TVs. Setup is mostly LED TVs, possibly upgrading to newer TVs later (4K/60Hz). Which brand holds up better long-term in terms of durability? Thank youu submitted by /u/naegleriagruberi to r/Tech_Philippines [link] [comments]

How important is HDMI cable, really?
I have 2 ATVs. The first one I bought last October, the second just a few days ago. I have a bunch of HDMI cables that are from when I had satellite TV. When I set up the first ATV I just grabbed a HDMI cable, hooked things up and they worked perfectly. Did the same thing with the second ATV and it has not really played well with the TV. After some testing I have narrowed it down to a bad cable or bad connector on the TV. I’ve tried 2 cables & 2 inputs with the same behavior. I’ve ordered a new 2.1 HDMI cable to eliminate the cable as a cause. First ATV is connected to a newer LG 4K TV, the second is connected to a 7+ year old TCL Roku TV. Nothing, before now has ever been connected to the HDMi port where the ATV is connected. Fingers crossed the new, known, better cable is the fix. submitted by /u/The_Wandering_Steele to r/appletv [link] [comments]

HDMI 2.1/2.0b. Does Nintendo give me a better HDMI Cable than needed?
VRR is confirmed to not work from Nintendo and they confirmed 4K is limited at 60hz. Because of that many people state that the Switch 2's output is HDMI 2.0b. In the Nintendo Today they show and commercialize "Ultra High Speed HDMI" which is a protected term for HDMI 2.1 Cable's. Is there any explanation for that or is Nintendo just giving me a better cable? submitted by /u/Kathunchen to r/NintendoSwitch2 [link] [comments]

I hid all the power cords and Hdmi cables.
So it's major petty I know, that's why I'm here lol. My boyfriend "wanted" to game with me last night so naturally I'm pumped cuz dude doesn't play with me often anymore. So he goes downstairs to set stuff up and I shower quick and I go downstairs and he's passed out. Like full on snoring loudly passed out. I try to wake him up and he says he just wants to nap quick and he'll play, okay that's fine. An hour goes by and I try to wake him again, just a little bit longer he says. I give him another hour, he's lucky I'm having fun getting soft lobbies so I can practice with the marksman rifles. Well I try to wake him up one more time and nows he's cranky with me for waking him up. So what started as a nap at 7:30pm ended up with him just sleeping for the rest of the night and my butthurt ass playing MW2 by myself, honestly played better anyways, probs cuz I was mad lol. Well fast forward to today, he's at work right now for another hour and I work in 20 minutes for the next 8 hours and I just hid all the power cords and Hdmi cables in the house 🙂 you won't game with me, you're not gaming with your buddies either 🙂 UPDATE: on my break. So my boss is in on it now too lol. He texted me 2 hours ago asking where it was and I didn't answer, so he came by my work (with our dog😄) and to the reddittor who said "tell him they are napping" thank you for that cuz it's exactly what I said LOL. Through gritted teeth he says "I checked everywhere, where are they?" And I just chuckled. Needless to say he left with no information as to where they are located and about an hour later texted my boss "please tell me where she put them"😂 will update later if I remember lol And to the people who are triggered. I did explain to him why I was upset, twice. Once last night after the 3rd attempt to wake him when he was basically half asleep and then again today, civilly, on his lunch break. We still said our I love yous to each other and it's definitely not as deep as some of you make it out to be lol. We've been together 4 years, I just woke up today and felt petty lol. UPDATE #2: just got home. I'm sorry guys, very anti climactic end to a great start. Fucker found the cords about 2 hours ago BUT I could imagine the look on his face when he found out I put the cords in a closet we don't use 5 feet away from his xbox LOL. 6 hours of looking/not gaming only to find it right beside his set up. Sometimes the most obvious places are the hardest to see, petty revenge accomplished I'd say LOL. Thank you to all who took it the harmless way I had meant it, ya'll know how to have fun haha! FINAL UPDATE: I don't know if the ones who are mad are even reading this far, but I'd like you to know he cooked me dinner last night while I read him your comments and we laughed. Thanks for the chuckles! We're gunna go play MW2 now! submitted by /u/Ok_Comparison_4487 to r/pettyrevenge [link] [comments]
