Strange noise in jbl flip 7 GG
Guys, i recently bought a flip 7, and it sounds very good, until i try some bass frequencies, and its like hitting on something?i hear it buzzing but not loud. Im gonna let you guys see on the video. If anyone can give me a advice i would appreciate it. (Never been open, took out of the box yesterday) (Its a test frequency, the flip7 is playing songs normally) (I can only hear it if im close, i i dont even know if yall can hear it. Anyone Updated their Flip 7?
Opened the app and discovered a new update (v0.6.9.0) for the Flip 7. I’m curious to know if this will improve the bass output before I pull the trigger. TIA! submitted by /u/cutesy_cakes to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Need your help. JBL Flip 7 or Anker Soundcore 2
Hey guys, I am owning for year a JBL GO 2 and I decided that is time to change to something better. I was looking to a JBL lineup as I was satisfied with the Go 2 for all these years and more specifically I was looking into the JBL flip 7. Now in my country there is and offer that is sold a bit more than 100$. On the other hand have caught my attention on Amazon with a lot of positive reviews the Soundcore 2 from Anker which is half of the price of flip 7. Searching a bit on the internet it was shown in comparison sites that I found that the Soundcore was scoring higher and was recommended over the Flip 7 which I was doubting those scores and results. I am not using the speaker heavily but I like when I chill in my garden to have music playing on the background without being disturbing. Just want to have good quality of music, clarity and good bass. I am not intending to abuse it at maximum volume That is why I have been ended up here because I would like to ask your opinion about those products and which one would you recommend. submitted by /u/INeedMuscles to r/Bluetooth_Speakers [link] [comments]

JBL Flip 7 – Keeping it permanently connected to power
Hello JBL community, I have a question. I bought a JBL Flip 7 for my workplace, by the way for just 80 € new and sealed. Now my thought or question: does anyone know if the speaker is powered directly when it is permanently connected to power, or if it would be better to keep the battery between 20–80 % in terms of battery longevity? Thanks in advance :D submitted by /u/xIBr3aKD0wn44Ix to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Jbl flip 7
I bought a JBL Flip 7 on Mercado Libre. They said it was original, but it's a generic. It's identical, but this one has a microSD card slot and a USB port. I requested a refund. They told me it was original, and I was scammed. submitted by /u/MedicalTadpole7337 to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Jbl flip 7 How long should the battery last?
Hi everyone! I have a question. How long should the JBL Flip 7 battery last? I had it at 40% volume with the equalizer and +6 bass, and it lasted 6 hours. Is that normal? submitted by /u/Chance-Shock-6480 to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Upgrade from Flip 7
Edit: I already placed an order yesterday, so thank you guys for the help! I even tried one at a store yesterday and compared them. Budget: 320$ I already have 2 flip 7, using them as stereo, now I want more. So what's worth upgrading to? My idea is to get 2 charge 6. Is it worth the upgrade? is there even a better option? My answer: First of all if I get Charge 6 I can Aura cast all JBL speakers that supports it, including 2 clip 5, so there's no way I'll get a different brand, anything past the Charge 6 costs way too much to even get a pair of. submitted by /u/Master-Pain to r/JBL [link] [comments]

JBL Flip 7 is AMAZING! Keeping it over Charge 6 and Motion 300
Thanks for all people who responded before. i just tried JBL Flip 7 and i am wowed. Sound is full and vocals are not drowned out by bass. I like this more than Soundcore Motion 300 which has vocal clarity but it is thinner and not as full. Charge 6 is full but more bass heavy and drowns out vocals. chatgpt confirms this. Looks like I am keeping Flip 7 Flip 7 = cohesive/full + vocals remain present Charge 6 = fuller/bigger but vocals recessed Motion 300 = vocals very clear but less body/fullness This is actually a classic speaker tuning tradeoff. The Motion 300 can impress quickly with: stereo imaging crispness clarity But over time some listeners perceive it as: thinner less engaging less physically immersive especially compared to JBL’s warmer fuller presentation. For Charge 6 too much bass/lower-mid energy can: mask vocals reduce clarity collapse separation especially in small portable speakers where everything shares limited space and power. That’s why many people find the Flip line more balanced and musical, while the Charge line feels more: powerful boomy party-oriented The Charge 6 is trying to sound “big.” The Flip 7 is trying to sound “fun and balanced.” And for your music style, the Flip 7 may simply hit the best balance of: fullness clarity emotional impact vocal presence. submitted by /u/Squishypee to r/Bluetooth_Speakers [link] [comments]

Trying to choose between JBL Charge 6 and Flip 7
I only care about sound quality, don’t care about portability, charging phone from it, or battery/playtime. What I heard is: Charge 6 has to be faced toward you more Flip 7 sounds clearer, especially vocals Which would you recommend and why? submitted by /u/Hazzimeh to r/JBL [link] [comments]

JBL Charge 5 vs Flip 7 at ₹11k ($115) — Which one should I get?
Hey folks, I’m trying to decide between the JBL Charge 5 and the Flip 7, and both are currently available for around ₹11k (~$115), so price isn’t really a factor here. My main usage would be: Casual content consumption (YouTube, movies, etc.) Music (mostly indoors, but occasionally outdoors) Small house parties with friends From what I understand, the Charge 5 has better bass and battery, while the Flip 7 is more compact and newer. But I’m not sure how big the real-world difference is.For those who’ve used either (or both): Is the extra size of the Charge 5 worth it? How noticeable is the sound difference, especially bass and loudness? Is the Flip 7 good enough for a small room/party setup? submitted by /u/_Caped-Crusader_ to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Near 4 Week review - Flip 7
The speaker is pretty good! I use it in the shower with Auracast paring with my Go 4. Bass is good for a speaker this size. I hadn’t had a single issue with this. I used it on my bike and let me tell y’all, it rattles the bottle cage lol. I gotta say that JBL speakers in black look cool submitted by /u/E350_W212 to r/JBL [link] [comments]

Don’t update your JBL flip 7!
Today I’ve updated my JBL Flip 7 speaker to the newest v0.6.9.0 firmware and the sound changes dramaticly… in a bad way. They somehow removed almost all the deep bass that came out of it before the update. Even with the bass all the way up it still sounds very flat in bass now. They refined the highs a little bit but it was not worth over the sound from the update before. Just a warming. This update ruins the sound on your flip 7. On mine it did. I hope JBL will fix this soon because it’s worse. submitted by /u/Pim_82006 to r/JBL [link] [comments]

JBL Flip 7 sounds terrible
I had a flip 4 for years and the battery has given up recently so i thought i'd just buy the new flip 7 since i was happy with the flip 4. I'm sure it's not supposed to sound like this but is there anything I can do to fix it instead of sending it back? I've tried updating it and also resetting. Tbh it also sounds like a mechanical defect so probably I won't be able to avoid sending it back submitted by /u/660rapha to r/JBL [link] [comments]

JBL Flip 7 Full Review
Hey Reddit! I recently bought a JBL Flip 7 and today I want to give you a full review. Let's get started. DESIGN AND MATERIALS The speaker is made of durable rubber and fabric. It includes a fabric strap and a carabiner for easy portability. The device feels fantastically high-quality and very sturdy. According to JBL, it can withstand drops of up to one meter onto concrete and has an IP68 rating (submersible in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes). In recent generations, the charging port is completely waterproof, sealed from the inside, so there are no rubber covers. This greatly improves reliability when in contact with water. In my experience, I've submerged it in the pool and used it in the shower many times; I've also dropped it and never had any problems. It's very durable and reliable. SOUND It has a total power output of 35 watts (15 watts for the woofer and 10 watts for the tweeter). The sound quality is fantastic. It sounds best between 30% and 70% volume, as all the frequencies are clearly distinguishable and well-balanced, with plenty of bass. At maximum volume, it doesn't distort, but the bass is slightly reduced. I have it equalized in a "V" shape to emphasize the bass and some of the treble. BATTERY The battery lasts up to 14 hours with normal use and 16 hours with the "PlayTime Boost" function. In my experience, I get about 8 to 10 hours of playback at high volume, with strong bass, and without PlayTime Boost. I think that's a good figure. What I would like is for the charging to be faster (it charges at 15 watts, a standard in its segment. The battery is a single 4,800 mAh cell). The JBL Portable app is very practical for checking the battery percentage and adjusting the equalizer to your liking. CONCLUSION It's a very high-quality product. I recommend buying it. I hope you found the review helpful 🙌🏻 submitted by /u/SanCar_red to r/JBL [link] [comments]

JBL Flip 7 Terrible?
Hey y’all, just got my JBL Flip 7 for my motorcycle, however I think it’s terrible. It’s not the volume that I’m angry at (which isn’t enough for a motorcycle but that’s not the speakers fault) but it’s the quality of the speaker. I feel like the advertised 16hrs of battery life is maybe 25% of that at best, and the “ai sound boost” at full volume is bullshit, it sounds distorted and muddy to me. The quality of the sound is mid at best, doesn’t sound much better than the 5w $10 speaker I got at Target. For $120 with the coupon I used, this speaker was an awful deal. I’m going to order the Charge 6 and see how I like it, especially with the increased volume, but I don’t have high hopes after this experience. submitted by /u/TurboedDude to r/JBL [link] [comments]
