Messed up lemon bars for potluck is there any way to salvage them? (The curd set both underneath and iver the crust)
I followed the recipe by preppy kitchen (in comments since it wont let me link here), and had them set overnight. I think the crust was too cold when I added the curd in and now I have a potluck tonight and these monstrosities. Girlfriend made Lemon Cheesecake using Lemon Curd and Meyer Lemon Cookie Thins
Last time I didn't put the recipe so here it is: She made the crust by crushing the cookie thins and adding butter. Beat some cream cheese, sugar and lemon curd with gelatine and then folded in some plain whipped cream. Then set in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. It was delicious!
