Adding to this post. Here is another dead ringer for false information about a company. If you're not researching Glassdoor, reading multiple reviews, you should! Unless you know someone personally working at the organization or otherwise have great assurance that it's an organization you want to work for, perform your due diligence. When you see approval of CEO above 75%, that's a red flag. When the overall rating is 4.4, but when you start reading the reviews, you see lots of 1's and those sharing about low pay, toxic culture, bad management, people overworked, no vision, etc., (I attached a photo of what this looks like o Glassdoor, but it got deleted by bot), what this often means is that the HR, TA and/or recruiters, are posting "good reviews" and asking employees who they can manipulate or pressure, to overshadow the poor reviews that are authentic. They do this to make the company look more attractive to potential employees, as well as influence other factors. Here's another flag to look for--no diversity in the workforce! Seriously. A company that doesn't value diverse perspectives and doesn't recognize that it needs diversity, if only to serve a diverse population of customers/clients, isn't very strategic, let alone a champion of the idea of embracing all people, unless your a white supremacist, this isn't the kind of company you want to work for. You can always verify what it's really like there, by connecting with someone who work at the company, multiple people would be even better and ask about the culture, pay, growth potential, leadership, vision and anything else that is important to you. If you run into this company, they are data harvesting, doesn't actually exist. Update and request. Thanks everyone who affirmed this. It's not always obvious, but with a little research, for those of us who don't immediately spot a fake, we can cancel this bs. So, I'm asking, when you do see these fakes, please take a minute and report to LI. When multiple people report, they do get cancelled. I've had it happen. I have a few job alerts set up. Starting about a month ago, a new “company”, “Lensa” started showing up in my alerts. Every time I click on a job post, it says “no longer accepting applications.” I’ve also seen the same job posted under the actual employer. It appears Lensa is scrapping their LinkedIn’s job board, then reposting those jobs under their own name. How is this not fraud? I've become aware of a recurring issue with job postings from LENSA on r/linkedin. Oh wow, she surprised me - the way she was shouting at and berating Kris...calling him "you stupid ass!" twice.? Lensa has exuded nothing but grace while Chris’ people relentlessly accost her faith at every turn. They yell in her face, create situations to publicly corner her, and cross every boundary she ever had. I wouldn’t have blamed her if she smacked that EVOO vile out of his hand and pushed him into the street, but instead she deferred because he’s an elder. She was raised so right Chris’ family should be thrilled. Do NOT SIGN UP FOR LENSA IN YOUR JOB SEARCH. I REPEAT DO. NOT. SIGN. UP. FOR. LENSA. As soon as you sign up for lensa they will give your info to scammers!! I have received non stop spam texts and emails since signing up. The worst part is that I quit my job for an offer from a SCAMMER who got my info from Lensa. Shortly after signing up for Lensa I received an email from someone named “Alex Marconi” claiming to work for Ecodomus S.R.L. an Italian real estate company that was opening offices in the US in A few months. I was fake hired as a property consultant, given a fake contract, and given fake assignments for a couple weeks. After I’m assuming they got all the necessary information they need from me, they completely stopped responding to my emails and calls. If you sign up or have signed up for Lensa, please go to your account and turn off 3rd party data sharing!! Save yourself and your bank account! Update: Alex reached back out to me and gave me another assignment but this time it was them asking me to cash a check for a client! It is a fake check scam.
