RE:Overnight diaper suggestions
We size up for nights (so if wearing a 4 during the day, buy size 5 overnight diapers) and use Pampers. Rarely have issues.

Overnight diapers
Please help! We’ve been using Up & Up overnight diapers for months in size 7. I’m pretty sure Target is discontinuing them because they are clearanced out and out of stock. What is your go to other than Pampers? I really liked how these diapers worked better than Pampers for 1/2 the cost. We’re down to 4 overnight diapers. My boy is almost 3 and 36 pounds for reference.

RE:Best overnight diapers?
I just started using Pampers Amore for night sleep and my guy was leaking through almost every night with the diaper totally saturated, but no leaks so far with the Amores! And there’s still plenty of dry diaper for more pee! I went up a size too, he was size 3 in Huggies skin essentials and I did size 4 in the Amores!

We love target Up and Up diapers but they do tend to run a size smaller than pampers I think. We just went to a size 4 for my girlie because she needed them to come up higher on her back.

Also size 4. We alternate between pampers and coterie (both size 4). Coterie always feels like a more generous fit and I prefer it for overnights and anytime there's a sign of diaper rash. Daycare changes him too often to use Coterie all the time though, lol

Pampers size confusion
My twins are right at 16lbs and their size 3 diapers are starting to fit tight so I went to pull the size 4 diapers out of the closet and apparently they've updated sizes recently so now I'm confused. According to the pampers website, the new size 4s are for 15-32lbs but our box of the old style 4s are 22-37lbs. Does anyone know if they are truly a different size or did they just change the weight recommendation? Should I go buy the new "smaller" size 4 or should this box work? submitted by /u/Upbeat-Student4387 to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

How is my 6 month old premi in size 4 diapers?
My 6 month old premi (corrected age 4 months) kept having blow outs in his size 3 diapers, which I was still shocked about having to move him up to those at 5 months (corrected 3). We've been having blowouts again with every liquid lava breast milk poop🌋💩, and I decided to try a size 4 and it fits his bum perfectly. Size 4 is for 22lbs, but that makes no sense! Maybe our little guy has a bigger bum than our first---"Different baby, different body." It's just like...he is a baby. He has a baby bum! I don't know if it's big or not. Lol! I'm going by the recommendations on the box and they don't make sense! Our little guy is currently: 25 inches long and 15lbs 8oz, which doesn't seem outrageous and isn't above 50th percentile or anything. So, like what is going on here with pampers? This is my second baby and my first wasn't in size 4 diapers until he was 11 months old and was 28.5 inches long and 20lbs, granted I didn't know WTF I was doing and probably could have sized him up sooner because I didn't know frequent blowouts meant you need to size up or anything about diaper science / fit (the research I've done on diapers...tell me you're a parent without telling me you're a parent when you spend hours of your life on reddit researching diapers). I'm so confused. The little blue elastic blowout liners don't cover his bum cheeks in the size 3. I have to fan them out and then they still retract back to his inner bum checks instead of the outside of them and they are meant to catch poop. I'm like...what is going on here? I've always liked pampers for my slender taller babies, but they aren't above average tall or anything. I'm just confused. I'm like...the size 2s we're leaving red marks on his thighs and were definitely too small. Are the size 3s actually too big? I don't think so. I don't understand 😭😭😭 submitted by /u/TypeAtryingtoB to r/beyondthebump [link] [comments]

What diaper brand/size is in between pampers newborn and 1?
Hey so we have a ton of pampers swaddlers diapers in N, 1, 2, and 3. I don't have a reason to dislike them yet (I think). My son is almost 4 weeks and about 10 lbs and I think he's between newborn and size 1. Newborns are starting to get tight on his legs and don't cover his butt/backside but size 1s are pretty huge on him. It feels like theres a size missing. Is there another brand that would fit better in this awkward phase that someone can suggest? submitted by /u/Independent_Cat_8514 to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

99th percentile 13 month old in size 9 pampers are there any bigger pull ups or nappies?
My 13 month old is in size 9 pampers nappies (wearing 3/4 year old clothes). In a few months he will be growing out of all of them. Are there any brands that do larger sizes or am I going to have to put him into adult incontinence pants??(health visitor suggestion) He is 15kg and 2.3ft tall if that helps. Edit: I can't seem to reply to comments but thank you for all of your recommendations. I will try as many of them as I can. I hope he does lean out when he starts walking and we won't have to size up. As to the comments about his weight, we are being referred to the hospital as he eats healthy but is growing incredibly fast. We are seeing a pediatrician about possible reasons why he is so big. Thank you all so much x submitted by /u/the_small_potato to r/UKParenting [link] [comments]

Pampers sizes?
My daughter is 15 months, 32.5 inches, 23 lbs and wearing a size 8 pampers swadlers. The smaller sizes don't fit and leak. According to their own chart she should be on a size 4 but we are so past that. She will need a bigger size soon and 8 is their last one. ik she's tall for her age but I don't understand why the sizing is so off for us? My (24F) Husband (23M) Faked Fainting After I Gave Birth
My husband and I have been together for 5 years. I want to start by saying that, despite his quirks, my husband is genuinely sweet and hardworking. I truly believe he loves me deeply, tries his best, and has always dreamed of being a husband and father. That’s why this whole situation has left me confused and conflicted. We got pregnant a bit sooner than expected, though it wasn’t entirely unplanned. In the first trimester I was lucky to avoid nausea, but the fatigue hit me hard, especially during my final university exams. I had to nap for 1-2 hours every afternoon just to function. At the time, we didn’t know that this kind of exhaustion was a normal pregnancy symptom, and I was so focused on school that I didn’t think much of it. Meanwhile, my husband quietly started resenting me. He thought I was being lazy because I wasn’t keeping up with the housework (which, except for dishes, was mostly my responsibility). Thankfully, a friend asked if I’d been hit by the tiredness and explained that it’s important I rest. He seemed to understand, but I guess it bugs me that faced with his wife being utterly exhausted his first reaction was to think of me as lazy and be annoyed rather than concerned. Throughout the rest of my pregnancy, his attitude often felt off. He would get annoyed by what I thought were small requests—like bringing me water before bed—and complained about the size of my pregnancy pillow. While he always apologised later on if I let myself get sad about it, I felt like there was something he wasn’t saying. Friends told me to enjoy the “pregnancy pampering,” but I didn’t experience any of that. He treated me the same as before and seemed irritated when I couldn’t keep up. Despite everything, I had a fairly easy pregnancy physically, and emotionally I responded very well to the crazy levels of oestrogen making me quite happy and hopeful. I stayed upbeat and tried to be as pleasant and positive as possible. During this time, he started getting really into these “men’s experiences during pregnancy” podcasts and would vent about how no one considers what fathers go through, which I sympathised with. Then came the birth. After a long and sleepless labor, I needed an emergency C-section. I gave birth around midnight, and since partners couldn’t stay overnight, he went home. I stayed awake with our newborn for a fourth night in a row. When he returned the next morning, he told me he had fainted on the way home, showing me how dirty his jacket was after falling. I was concerned, but I was so depleted I could barely process it. During our hospital stay, he brought food and held the baby while I slept, but his attitude still felt… annoyed. I chalked it up to stress. Then came the newborn phase—our son was colicky, I was exhausted, and we argued constantly. I couldn’t be my usual sweet self, and I desperately needed emotional support. He, on the other hand, seemed to want sympathy too. At one point, it had been 5 days since the baby had a bath and he enquired of me annoyed. I didn’t turn on my filter and said “Why don’t you give him a bath then?” he responded with that he didn’t know how and was upset I told him to Google it. He felt overwhelmed working 3–4 hours a day and microwaving meals twice daily, so researching baby baths was apparently too much. I ended up taking our baby to all his appointments alone because my husband looked so irritated when tired that nurses started asking questions. I could say a lot more, but here’s my main concern: Recently, we revisited the topic of my pregnancy and our son’s birth. I told him I felt unsupported during that time. That’s when he confessed that he lied about fainting after the birth so I would feel bad for him. He apparently only slipped on the ice. He felt ignored and unimportant during the pregnancy. Every time he talked to friends, they told him to focus on supporting me, and he started to feel invisible. While I understand the desire to feel seen, to lie about something like this when I truly needed support feels deeply hurtful. I explained that being a supportive partner is not meaningless—it’s actually a vital, powerful role. He was remorseful but I don’t know if this is expecting too much from him? Things are better between us today, but honestly, I don’t think I want him with me the next time I give birth. I feel like it would be easier to mentally prepare for doing it alone than to split my emotional focus between giving birth, the baby and managing his feelings again. TL;DR My husband lied about fainting after I gave birth to our son, I feel unsupported but I am scared I am putting too much pressure on him. How do we move forward from this? submitted by /u/Psalters to r/relationship_advice [link] [comments]

Diaper Comparison 2025
TLDR: Created a spreadsheet to compare my top diaper options in US. First pic is sorted by price, second pic is sorted by which I’ll be trying first. (Currently pregnant with my first). Details: All diapers listed are hypoallergenic and all have wetness indicator (two requirements to me). Benefits examined: - Chlorine free or ECF - Fragrance free - Paraben free - Phthalate free - Other notable benefits - Biodegradable How I chose my top picks: - Each benefit column has different value, determined by important to me. (For example, biodegradable would be nice, but not as important as being fragrance free, so I only gave 0.5 points if noted as biodegradable). - Point totals for each row is in column 10 - Only considered items from stores convenient to me. Ideally would like to be able to have in stock at 2+ stores just in case. - The blowout barrier pockets seemed like a real appeal to me Results - my Top 5 (ish) Picks: 1. Up&Up 2. Huggies Little Snugglers (or the Plus version at Costco) 3. Pampers Pure 4. Bambo Nature 5. Pura Summary: While I know this by no means replaces actual experience and every baby is different, I made this to help me decide which options to start with. Hopefully this will help someone else too. Anyone love or hate my top 5 picks? Would love to hear your first-hand experience. submitted by /u/LilChowder to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]

Unfortunately met a CB today
I was walking to the bus stop after getting my son from daycare and a lady with a baby asked if i have any money. I never bring my wallet out the house because im prone to losing it. But i keep a bag of quarters because my son likes the little quarter prize machines. So i offered it to her and she asked if I could go get cash back. When i told her i don’t carry cash or card she told me to go buy size 4 pampers. My son is in size four so i offered the diapers in his bag but she said she only uses pampers brand. submitted by /u/No_Document_3301 to r/ChoosingBeggars [link] [comments]

Is it just me or are Pampers THE WORST??
In the past 24 hours my 6week old has had 1 diaper leak, 1 blow out, and 4 diapers with tabs that broke while she was wearing them. She didn’t fit into the Newborn size Pampers so we used Huggies and had zero issues. Now she’s a size 1, so we’re starting to dip into the diapers we were gifted at our baby shower (most of which are Pampers) and they’re THE WORST. submitted by /u/rachel_violet to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

Things I noticed as a Texan vacationing in San Diego
1) Everyone is in a hurry. Whether walking or driving. Like speed walking and driving fast even in pedestrian heavy areas. I'm not sure what the hurry is but damn. 2) So many dogs. It seemed like everyone had a well pampered pooch. And everyone was constantly walking these pups too. But relating back to number 1, they seemed to be in such a hurry, I didn't want to be a bother by asking to pet their doggo. 3) The fashion is very relaxed and natural. Not a lot of makeup on women, fake nails or lashes. All the men looked as if they were going/coming from the beach. Lots of sun dresses, yoga pants, board shorts and linen. And hair worn down. I forget that with the low humidity, you can actually wear your hair down. 4) Fusion food. Not hating on it, but I prefer classics. It seemed that every restaurant was trying so hard to sell us on some weird combo of food. We tried a few but some dishes were just not good at all. 5) The weather is just amazing! Very low humidity and no mosquitoes trying to suck the life out of you. I was just astonished. And it actually gets cooler when the sun sets. You can eat outside for dinner and not be soaked in sweat. 6) LGBTQ friendly. We stayed in little Italy but also visited the gaslamp quarter, hillcrest, and coronado. It was refreshing to see openly queer couples just existing in peace. There were many queer supportive businesses too. As a parent of a queer teen, it made me hopeful and happy. Overall I had a great time in SD and will be back again next year! Edit: Before everyone comes at me for number 1 just know that I live in a medium sized city in south TX on the gulf. The pace is much slower. Not used to hustle and bustle! Also I'm 39f, not a dude 😊. submitted by /u/dessertisfirst to r/sandiego [link] [comments]

Are Pampers' sizes messed up, or an I doing this wrong?
My son is 6mo and has been wearing Pampers since birth. I've always found the sizing runs a bit small, but now I'm wondering if it's actually me that the problem. He was 15lbs at 5mo, I'd guess maybe 16 now. He's a small but fairly stocky dude (25% for weight, 10%for height). We've had him in size 3 for a while now, and I was surprised to go from 2-3 so early, but now we're having issues with the 3s! Leaks out the side, waistband leaving red marks... (And yes, we point him down) I bought a box of 4s, but then looked at the sizing and was like WTF... 3s are supposed to be like 16-28 and 4 is 22-37. How can the 3s be too small when there is NO way he's even 17lbs? What am I doing wrong here? submitted by /u/valkyriejae to r/NewParents [link] [comments]

15lb baby in size 4 diapers? Wat?
My LO is currently 5 months as of today and we've noticed that her size 3 diapers, which she just started wearing not too long ago are quite snug. Her poos are also starting to go up towards her back as well. So I decided to buy a small package of size 4 diapers, despite it saying 22lbs being the minimum weight. You guys...she fits in it, what the shit?! My oldest who is 3 graduated from size 4 diapers when we potty trained her and she was 2 at the time! Watttt?! Anyone else here have a giant baby?
