We also seriously need some fully-independent alternatives to the 'usual' resources. So: 1) Does the reader have to own a special device - or can e-books be read using normal phones & tablets? 2) With the above in mind - what (in terms of reading experience) is the difference between an e-book & a pdf - especially in light of how savvy modern devices are with reading pdfs, & making the experience almost enjoyable (e.g. 'liquid mode')? 3) Depending on the actual truths surrounding the preceding question - in theory & in principle - could one not sell their work as a pdf, on their own website, & using say Payhip to take payments? How is this inferior to the mechanics of the 'e-book' route? I’ve been researching marketing for my online business and I think I’m losing my mind. Everything about paid marketing feels backwards now. Here’s what I’m seeing: Nobody trusts Google results anymore. First page is all ads and AI-written SEO articles saying nothing in 3000 words. People skip straight to Reddit for real answers or just ask ChatGPT. Why are we still writing blog posts for robots? We’re paying to annoy people. Everyone has ad blockers. In contrast to the ethical or environmental arguments, the book focuses on the technological reasons for why we’ll shift away from animal products. A cow, when seen as a bioreactor to produce meat, clothing, and biologics, is utterly pathetic: She grows slowly, wastes 90% of what she’s fed, and can't be improved much further.
