Summary of recent events involving Harry Daniels and Katseye members. 4/21/2026: Trisha Paytas drops an episode of her podcast in which she and her co-host, Oscar Gracey, mention Harry Daniels, an American TikTok personality: "He gave us so much tea, too. We can't even repeat it, I guess. But finding out the Katseye tea with Manon, I feel like...so relieved. Now I'm in the know. That was crazy. He needs a podcast where he actually spills the tea and not be scared about it. I'm like, you need to just spill 'cuz he has so much like off the record..." 4/23/2026: Trish Paytas drops another episode of her podcast in which her co-host Oscar Gracey refers back to the previous podcast episode. He states: "I keep seeing the Eyekons clip me saying I'm so relieved now that I know the Katseye tea. I keep seeing that clipped everywhere. And I was like, damn, I really do be forgetting I'm on a microphone and people are going to perceive that. Eyekons, I'm sorry I'm giving an apology two hours in. I said I was relieved to be in the know because it's been keeping me up at night. It's been plaguing me. Oscar: "Release a damn statement. Yeah. Before Harry Daniels does." They have some more banter about Harry, then Trisha says: "He's telling everyone. Tana's like, 'He told me. And she's like, 'we literally talked 2 minutes and just told me the whole tea.'" 4/26/2026: Harry Daniels drops an episode of his own podcast. In it, he states: "I got in a huge fallout with all my friends and then I was like..." He laughs, then says, "Oscar knows all about this." Oscar: "You and Manon can talk about it." Harry: "I love her. I saw her at Coachella last weekend. I love her. She's like the sweetest person." Oscar: "How's she doing??" Harry: "She's doing good. Harry then makes an Instagram post including never-before-seen photos and videos of him and Megan. 10 Years of Babish
A decade and a day ago, under-slept and sweaty-palmed, I hit ‘publish’ on a video that would end up changing my entire life. The night before, I had impulsively decided to recreate a fictional burger, and set to trawling the streets for gluten-free brioche buns and frantically googling “papaya chutney” while standing slack-jawed in the grocery store. My then-partner was out of town for the evening, so I pulled an all-nighter, blasting Joyce Manor and making a smoky mess out of our tiny Queens apartment. I couldn’t wait to edit together what I had filmed - literally - and I hadn’t noticed the sun rising while recording my first-ever voice-over, speaking gingerly into a disused shotgun microphone with no pop filter. The whole thing was a delightful, delirious mess, made on a whim and for the sheer sake of making it. I didn’t think anyone would watch it, much less that I would end up making another one. And another. 10 years, 10 million subscribers, 3 billion views and over 1,000 videos later: I’m spending the day cooking in my home studio kitchen for two of my culinary heroes, Jack Croft and Will Murray of Fallow. My eyes well up when they describe my fish & chips as worthy of a Michelin star, and surprise me with a magnum of champagne to celebrate the occasion. I can’t drink too much (not only because I’m now nearly 40 and can’t handle my liquor anymore), but because tomorrow, I’m spending the day developing and testing recipes with CookUnity, who will soon make my meals available to millions of people. We’re launching a podcast with Vox, we’ve got a wok in every Walmart, and we’re planning a big shoot with Alton motherfucking Brown. I live in my dream home with my dream cat, drive my dream car, and love my dream girl (who comes with a dream dog). I get to work with my best friends, travel the world, meet my heroes, eat incredible food, take care of myself and be of service to others. Every day I get to marry my two greatest passions - food and film - and I get to do it for a living. The last 10 years haven’t been without their challenges - crushing heartbreak, professional missteps, personal setbacks, acute mental illness, assault and rehab - but they haven’t stood a chance against the sheer joy of cooking with you. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and dizzied with disbelief over what my life has become, and I have you guys to thank for it. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being a part of Babish with me. Why are Podcasters Holding Lavalier and Studio Microphones by Hand?
I've noticed that it's becoming more and more common for Youtubers and Podcasters to either hold a tiny lavalier microphone in their fingertips, or hold a bulky studio microphone (ie an SM7b or a large diaphragm condenser) in their hand. Why on Earth is this getting to be so common? Do people think it looks cool? It just makes me cringe when I see it. submitted by /u/GlenVision to r/microphone [link] [comments]

Life of a Showgirl proves Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's "relationship" is shallow
I've never seen a celebrity relationship more doomed to fail. Posh and Becks, they are not. On twitter, you'll find people saying Joe Alwyn wrote Folklore because of how bad this album was or that he's Taylor's best muse. Some are even begging for Matty to come back 😂 Two years in, and the 13th "love of Taylor's life" should have had deep, romantic songs written about him by now. Two years with Joe and we got Reputation and Lover. Where is Travis's "King Of My Heart" or "Lover"? 33 year old Taylor called her 15 day fling with Matty a "cosmic love", and painted such a detailed and complex picture about this dude who swings microphones around his head and once caught the cord around his neck. What does Travis get? Wood. Honey. Wi$h Li$t. So High School. The Alchemy. Alchemy is fake chemistry, Opalite is a fake stone. "You know how to ball I know Aristotle"...sounds like she's saying she knows he's an idiot, and she's telling the world? Why can't she make a single song about Travis without referencing exes (his or hers), that he plays football, or using dated internet lingo that even her biggest fans can't get past. Everything she's written about Travis is superficial. How is it she's marrying a guy she has no emotional connection with? How did Taylor write a more romantic song about Adam Young than her first husband? She wrote You Are In Love for a friend, but can't write something like that for herself? She thinks he's handsome, he (allegedly) has a big d, and he saved her (hi Joe) so she feels indebted to him. Oh and he's so much, much, much better than her exes even though she wrote imgonnagetyouback a year ago. Okay, what else? What's he like as a person? Is any of this a recipe for a life-long marriage? A "best friend who is hot" who sweetly calls her honey? He's her Wi$h Li$t...but a year before she wrote But Daddy I Love Him about Matty. And she "died on the altar" waiting for Joe. So what makes Travis special? Watching their interaction on the podcast was uncomfortable. She acted like she was a school teacher and he was her student. And how does he not know Red? How do you date a musician for two years and not spend that time listening to their music? Does he not know how to use Genius? Honestly...I don't think they love each other, and she seems to get off on belittling him to the world like she does with all her muses. As soon as Travis stars in a blockbuster, the marriage contract is over. The sad part is the divorce album is going to be filled with football references and have lyrics like "I guess I got rizzed up by a player" 😭 submitted by /u/CapitalCoconut7153 to r/travisandtaylor [link] [comments]

I have a laugh that some people here really don’t like. Hehe. AMA
Hi, err umm...i'm hehe guy? My original plan was to continue hiding and hope this would all eventually blow over, but after that guy started pretending to be me the other day I felt the need to set things straight. Prepare to be bored, the truth is thoroughly less exciting than any of these theories. I'm just a fan with a distinct laugh who on his 17th KT show my laugh was amplified way too much and now people are really mad at me. Before three weeks ago I had never received any negative feedback or been accused of distracting a room let alone an entire broadcast. I feel bad that this has distracted from the local comedians who deserve your attention. My stupid f’ing laugh should not be the top comment on YouTube, It should be that Mason Bird is hilarious and talented. I’m just going to highlight some local comics who I feel like deserve the love. It’s my thread and I’d rather talk about comedy for a few minutes. Sir Winston Pickles, you f’ing rock. Follow him! My favorite Austin comedy show not named Kill Tony is Banana Phone at The Creek & The Cave, it’s a heckle mic, when I’m in Austin I try to be there every Sunday. It’s a pretty open floor, If you genuinely hate me so much and want the opportunity to come and scream some mean shit at me some time, this would be a good opportunity. The hosts of it are all some of the funniest people in town: Candace Medina, Nick Cox, Michael Ridley, Dane Lyon, Jack Timmons, and Nick VandeVoort. And if you go, buy some drinks/food as it’s a free show! The room is routinely filled with a bunch of KT legends. Also Phil Smith and Kait Calabrese, they’ve got a podcast that features a lot of Kill Tony people. Another great show at Creek & Cave is Absolute Show, it’s like the tonight show from hell. It’s hosted by Lukas McCrary and Liz Splatt who work at Mothership. Colton Jones writes for it and I genuinely think he’s one of the more talented standups in town, he also is at Sunset Strip a lot. Follow him! My favorite underrated mothership show is Brian Simpson and Sam Lopez’s show Bottom of the Barrel. People just riff on topics the audience puts into the barrel. The cousin to bottom of the barrel is Off the Cuff hosted by Rachel Wolfson at Creek & Cave, it’s a very similar setup, except free and open mic’y. Also Litty Titty Thursdays is a lot of fun, it’s hosted by Allison Wojtowecz. Sam Minney and Mike Eaton have a really fun podcast called Good Sam Bad Sam. And Sunset Strip is always a really good time, and I don’t care about the tall ceiling, it works. Myles Johnson, Tony Casillas, and CJ Landry at Mothership are all pretty f’ing awesome Also the new Naked Gun movie is great, Paul Walter Hauser would be a kickass guest I’m not a comedian, have nothing to promote, so please go follow these very funny people. I'd also like to give a shoutout to my friend Gabo (he’s u/sirgabo in the sub) for helping to keep me positive during the past 3+ weeks of being hated by a good portion of the internet. He was sitting next to me during half the KT shows I’ve been to. We met through this subreddit trading tickets when we got lucky enough to have them. He’s also got some killer grillz. Also thank you to any kind human who posted anything positive over the past few weeks, it was very helpful and appreciated. As far as verification, im just using a pic of the hat I wore that night I was screengrabbed. I wish I was comfortable sharing more, but after hundreds of death threat “jokes” I have to hold a little back. I have no present plans to attend the show, I’ve used all my tickets, and I personally hope the internet forgets about me and in a few months I hope I can attend the show again as the anonymous background audience member that I was for 17 shows before the microphone amplified me way way WAY too f’ing much on 729. With all of that out of the way, knowing I’ve already read every single comment about this here, on YouTube, Facebook, and Spotify, do you have any questions? [Podcasting] Last Podcast on the Left & Ben Kissel: How To Burn All Possible Goodwill At Once, Over And Over And Over
Major Content Warning for discussion of domestic abuse (physical and emotional), as well as substance abuse (particularly alcoholism). EDIT: Addendums for the passing of Kevin Barnett and Kissel's physical stature have been added. PART 1: That's When The Cannibalism Started The Last Podcast On The Left is hard to define, in terms of genre-labels. At best, I would call it a dark-comedy edutainment podcast-- at least adjacent to true-crime, but with too many left-turns into occultism, dark history, and other wacky topics to be in the same conversation as your My Favorite Murder or Casefile type shows. LPOTL was started in 2011, by three friends with a shared love of horror movies and shared careers in comedy and entertainment; Marcus Parks, Henry Zebrowski, and (the star of tonight's show) Ben Kissel. Together, the trio would spend the next ~150 episodes shooting the shit, going over a loose framework of historical facts about serial killers, occult rituals, and other sordid subjects while primarily focusing on making each other and the audience laugh. The general consensus among the fanbase (and myself) is that the first 177 episodes are by and large weaker than what came after. The research (for those who care about that) was mediocre and often superseded by the comedy, which was itself primarily shock-value and self-deprecation from Zebrowski and Kissel respectively. All this changed with the one-two combo of series on the Columbine High School massacre and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Suddenly, the edgelord shitposting and awkward in-jokes carried by mediocre microphones (as the show was often recording while Zebrowski was filming for the [adult swim] series Your Pretty Face Is Going To Hell) were transforming into well-researched reports on the underbelly of society, and also edgelord shitposting and awkward in-jokes. As of 2025 the show has several research assistants, has the clout to get major interviews with well-known figures in the macabre, and is often cited as the primary alternative to the more straight-laced true-crime podcasts. The core trio, all of whom came from fairly-middling comedy careers and a variety of difficult upbringings prior to LPOTL, were seeing success they hadn't known before. It seemed like the good times were never going to end. PART 2: It's A Numbers Game Ben Kissel, the third host of LPOTL, served a vital role in the show's initial dynamic. Parks provided the research and backstory, Zebrowski provided commentary and comedy, and Kissel was the "audience surrogate"-- the Straight Man, who knew nothing about the topic at hand and could react to both it and Zebrowski's goofing-off naturally. Parks would zig, Zebrowski would zag, and Kissel would chortle along with the listeners at home. Kissel has also, at his own admission, struggled with addiction for most of his life. An Instagram post from early 2020 stated that he hadn't gone without a drink for more than a few days since he was a child, and countless personal anecdotes from his years on the podcast detailed a difficult, troubled upbringing. His behavior also repeatedly caused both his fans and cohosts to openly worry about him, with fairly frequent jokes about his lifestyle that (with the retrospect of what would come later) feel much more like the man's close friends putting out feelers for him the only way they know how. One particularly memorable story is the one of him not owning towels, and instead just putting his clothes on right out of the shower-- lots of similarly "depressed bachelor not taking care of himself" tales. These issues came to a head during the pandemic, as it became clearer and clearer that Kissel was spiraling (as many people were during lockdowns). At first, the main issue was that his engagement with the podcast had dipped considerably; although he had always played a "lovable dolt" character (often knowing little-to-nothing about the topics at hand going into the episodes), even at the time fans were speculating on Kissel being on the verge of a crisis. Audibly disengaged from conversations, blundering through bits with no concern for the story being told, just generally being odd. It's hard to explain without just directly transcribing episodes, but around the time of The Ant Hill Kids (episodes 434-436), Alcatraz (which means "pelican" btw) (episodes 448-450), and Billy The Kid (462-465) it became an active hindrance on the podcast's quality, as Kissel felt less and less like an engaged member of the show and more like a peanut-gallery, heckling the people onstage for his own quick laugh. Even on Side Stories (bonus episodes hosted by Zebrowski and Kissel, typically going over smaller news stories and covering whatever they found interesting that week) there was tension; the entirety of the Manhattan Project series (episodes 533-538) were, at least anecdotally, more like listening to your parents passive-aggressively bicker than anything else. I do not want to theorize on the mental health of someone I have never met, at least not any more than I already have. But as the pandemic stretched on, it became clear that Ben Kissel was a man in the midst of a crisis, and in need of support that he either was not getting or would not seek. Months of bad behavior turned into years, and then it all came out. (ADDENDUM: It's also important for me to mention the passing of Kevin Barnett. In January of 2019, Kissel's close personal friend friend and cohost on Round Table of Gentlemen passed away unexpectedly, and his death has been repeatedly mentioned as a major impact on Kissel's mental health-- I was completely wrong not to mention it in the original write-up.) PART 3: I Don't Want To Give This One A Funny Name In late 2023, allegations of abuse by several of the women Ben Kissel had been with came out, and were subsequently written into an article by Rolling Stone, which I suggest you read to get a better picture of things. It outlines so much horrendous behavior on Kissel's part, much of which is either too extensive or too sordid for me to get a clear view on. The first allegations come from Sara Benincasa, who had been seeing Kissel casually in 2011, near the start of LPOTL. Though the two were casual (Benincasa refers to it as "what would be characterized now as a situationship"), Ben went on a violent, drunken tirade against her when he discovered her sleeping with others, physically pinning and slapping her. Benincasa stated that, the next morning (and anytime she broached the subject after) Kissel denied it, and she convinced herself for years that he had simply been too drunk to recall. This was followed by allegations from Taylor Moon, who had been in a somewhat more formal relationship with Kissel in 2022 and 2023, before breaking up; this was followed by an Instagram post many people presumed to be referring to Kissel, which read, "You’ll never get to drunkenly pin me to the bed and call me a pathetic fucking loser or stupid fucking bitch ever again." This came alongside the allegations of harassment by fan of the show Amber Rose, as well as countless members of the Last Podcast Network speaking against Ben, and corroborating statements about his behavior. Although they did not wish to be named, the Rolling Stones article states that two other women had come forward with allegations as well. (ADDENDUM: For those unaware of Ben Kissel's physical stature, he is 6'7" and has been upwards of 300lbs. This is a picture of him next to 6'-something Parks (left) and 5'6" Zebrowski (right). As someone helpfully reminded me, this makes a major difference in how the allegations against him are framed.) Although Kissel did state he was going to seek treatment (and eventually go into rehab for his alcoholism), he maintained his innocence-- claiming that he and Moon were rarely in the same physical space, that their relationship was almost exclusively long-distance, and that their rare physical meetings were marred by arguments that (importantly) Kissel states Moon agitated. Anonymous sources close to Kissel and the rest of the situation make various claims about his innocence as well-- referring to Rose as an infatuated fan trying to seduce Kissel, and other similar statements. The rest of the article is difficult to read, and harder to recap-- to put it bluntly, with everything we know now, he 100% did that shit and likely more. It is as clear as day that Ben Kissel was a cruel, abusive man who did what he could to hide it around those he knew would force him to face consequences for it. It's a story everyone has heard, at some point or another-- a man knee-deep in trauma and pain self-medicates his way into addiction, and starts taking the pain out on anyone he thinks he can get away with hurting... primarily, women. Kissel admitted to Rolling Stone that he had been self-medicating and had been inadvertently harmful to those around him, checked himself into rehabilitation, and took an extended break from the podcast. Zebrowski and Parks were both stated to have repeatedly attempted to broach the subject of Kissel's drinking and even intervene directly, but had no idea just how bad he had gotten. Finally, it was time for the broken stair to be fixed. PART 4: Rise From Your Grave The following weeks and months were even more of an opaque downward spiral for Kissel; his time in rehabilitation was brief and ineffective, and his return to the world of entertainment only got worse and worse. Although he did not come back to LPOTL, and was formally removed from the podcast following his stint in rehab, his attempts to keep up his own career (via a short-lived series simply titled The Ben Kissel Show) were marred by his own obvious bitterness and refusal to accept his own wrongdoings. The true end of the Ben Kissel story comes with this now-infamous Instragram post, in which he refers to the allegations against him as gossip, and promises to come back bigger than ever... captioned with a zoomed-in photo of him looking like he just crawled out of a hole in the ground. Since then, Ben's presence online has been increasingly sad and bitter-- jokes of his descent into being a right-wing commentator have only felt more and more prescient, as his attempts to recapture what once worked flounder. Meanwhile, the podcast he helped start has been in a renaissance; after a brief stint by fellow network contributor Holden McNeely, Ben's slot as third host was formally taken by Ed Larson, who has seen near-unanimous praise among fans of the show. The recent series have been (in my opinion) a fair improvement over Ben's time on the podcast, even if there have been duds; and, more than anything, it's become clear that LPOTL is going to continue well past Ben Kissel. ~~~ I was shocked seeing this hadn't been written up on here already, and although I can't say it's the best possible write-up on it (turns out this kind of thing is hard!), I like to think I covered the bases. Still not really over how awful this all was in the moment-- to find out the big cuddly teddy bear I was (admittedly kind of parasocially) inspired by was the exact kind of scumbag I was so glad he wasn't. Addiction is a terrible thing, and one that is not easy to defeat alone-- but you are never alone. If you can take responsibility and seek the help you need, it will be there. In the wise words of Marcus Parks-- mental health is not your fault, but it is your responsibility. Kissel still has not taken responsibility for his actions, and has taken to blaming everyone but himself; for anyone who has watched a beloved friend fall deeper and deeper into a hole you can't drag them out of, it's a sobering and heartbreaking reminder that some people just are not willing to be helped. It's not that your friends married psychopaths and forgot how to have fun, or that everyone's turned against you; it's that you're the problem. Everyone else grew up while you were still trying to be 25 and drunk forever. Hail Satan, hail Gein, hail Nando, and hail yourselves, everyone. submitted by /u/surgingshadows to r/HobbyDrama [link] [comments]

Why I stopped attending Bo Sanchez The Feast and walked away from religion
I don’t go to Mass anymore. I no longer raise my hands to the heavens while a man in jeans with a microphone tells me I’m redeemed. I stopped carrying a Bible that doubles as a prop for social media. Once upon a time, I was Catholic. Then I tried the Born-Again path. Both left me cold. For a while, I thought I found something different. I used to attend Bo Sanchez’s The Feast at PICC, religiously. Literally. Every Sunday morning, I traveled from Las Piñas to Pasay like a weary pilgrim desperate for hope. I was sad. I needed comfort. And The Feast gave it in glittery, concert-style servings. There was singing, dancing, laughing, crying. It was a musical, a mass, and a motivational seminar rolled into one. Bo Sanchez was magnetic. His delivery felt like a stand-up show with salvation at the end. Then I noticed the envelopes. They would talk about tithing with the finesse of a late-night infomercial. “Plant your seed,” they said. “Give and you shall receive.” Testimonies were presented like success stories from a prosperity gospel pyramid scheme. And then came the routine. You get an envelope. Semi-transparent, just enough to see if you're being generous or pretending. You're told to put money in it, raise it like a holy offering, and chant your way to financial and spiritual breakthroughs. One Sunday, I had no money. Not a single coin. So I faked it. Folded the envelope with surgical precision to hide its emptiness. Raised it just like the others, pretending to believe. That was the turning point. That moment of theater made me realize what I was really buying into. It wasn't just hope. It was a business dressed up as salvation. This isn’t unique to The Feast. I’ve seen it in Catholic circles. I’ve seen it in Born-Again groups. Religion becomes a show, a way to clean one’s conscience through repetitive rituals and public displays of virtue. And it’s always the ones who scream “Praise God” the loudest who carry the heaviest sins. Religion in this country is more than a belief system. It is a social club, a marketplace, and a performance stage. People use it to find meaning, yes. But many use it to belong, to impress, or to wash away guilt. There is nothing wrong with believing in something greater than yourself. What’s tiring is the self-righteousness. The moral superiority. The side-eye toward people who simply choose to step away. I no longer practice religion. But I do believe in something bigger than all of this. A higher power, maybe. A force of good. Something kind, quiet, and incorruptible. Something that doesn’t ask for tithes in return for miracles. I respect anyone’s belief in God, saints, or spirit guides. All I ask is that they respect mine in return. Sometimes the purest faith is the one that isn’t loud. It is the one that doesn’t need a church or an envelope to feel real. ----------------- Update: If you want to listen to the podcast version of this post, check this out https://youtu.be/lpE4ePBbIEI I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has appreciated my writing. The kind words, messages, and reflections you’ve shared mean a lot to me. I’m truly grateful for the thoughtful responses and the encouragement! I’ve received quite a few messages in my inbox, and while I may not be able to reply to each one individually, I will do my best to respond when I can. Seeing so many people resonate with my words has been incredibly rewarding. For those asking about my writing background, I attended an online writing boot camp back in 2020. I learned the art of storytelling, character development, and writing techniques. Also, a special thanks to those who suggested Wattpad as a platform for sharing my stories. I love the idea and will definitely explore it when time allows! Once again, thank you all for your support and for sharing your own perspectives. Does anyone use “podcast microphones” in video sales calls?
Title. Not sure if I’m going over the top with my line of thinking. I always have some trouble with my microphone, and was curious to see if it would be worth the investment for myself and my clients. Would this be weird as hell, or a decent move? I always have camera on so clients would definitely be able to see it, however I also feel it may be worth it to them if they can hear me as clearly as possible. submitted by /u/mkillinq to r/sales [link] [comments]
