Russian manicure fail?
I had a manicure exactly one week ago at a new to me salon. The owner suggested doing a Russian manicure because I had hangnails on every finger. I have been moisturizing multiple times a day but this is what I’m dealing with a week later. Is this normal? I rarely get manicures & have never had a Russian manicure. Before this I never experienced peeling, just hangnails. submitted by /u/SingleHeart197 to r/Nails [link] [comments]

Russian Manicure in NYC that’s not 200$
Hey! I hope I’ve come to the right place. Basically, I’m looking to get a Russian manicure or hard gel manicure that’s not going to cost me almost 200$. Minimum my manicures are coming to 150$. Does anyone have any recommendations that aren’t ridiculously priced? submitted by /u/ssrr11 to r/NYCbitcheswithtaste [link] [comments]

No more over-decorated nails, just that flawless russian manicure/pedicure 💅
Simplicity really hits different. 🤍 Rates are pricier than usual, but honestly worth every peso. 🥺 Even my bf said these are the best nails I’ve ever had! No extensions needed, these are my natural nails. Bago pala ako magpa russian manicure, nag stop ako sa soft gels for 6months. Ilang beses ko na to pinatry sa ibang nail tech before, pero if wala silang skills how to do a russian mani, di talaga ma aacchive ganitong finish. submitted by /u/mssllp to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

Russian Manicure is not for me
I recently tried the Russian manicure, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience for me. I have thin cuticles, which made the process more uncomfortable than I anticipated. The technique involves pushing and trimming the cuticles more intensely than other manicures, which, in my case, ended up feeling a bit too harsh. The process wasn’t as pleasant as I had hoped, and I found myself feeling a bit sensitive during the session. While I’ve heard great things about Russian manicures especially that the result is very neat naman talaga but, it definitely wasn’t ideal for me. If you have thinner cuticles or more sensitive skin, this style might not be the best choice. Has anyone of you experienced the same? submitted by /u/littlebigplanet8 to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

Recently did a Russian Manicure, and I don't think I can go back.

No going back…russian manicures are it.
This was probably the singularly most expensive and time consuming manicure I have ever had, but the results are phenomenal, or so I think. A friend convinced me to try a Russian manicure after years of being burnt at corner nail salons and the utter care and time they spent on my nails was insane. The salon was super clean and hygienic, the products were top-notch and fresh; not a bottle of Opi, SND, or China Glaze in site. Imma have to figure out to work regular visits into my budget because $125 for a short russian manicure with simple color, im a basic girly was a weee-little on the pricy side buck heck so worth it. And they painted the whole nail. submitted by /u/haremgirl6 to r/Nails [link] [comments]

More bad advice. Russian manicures are dangerous
Seems like Russian mani/pedis are her new thing to push. Extremely bad advice. They are brutal and dangerous, can easily lead to infection because they remove the bit of skin between nail & cuticle. It is there for a reason! It protects and prevents infections. I can’t help but think she must hate her body so much, to subject it to all these cruel treatments in the name of “improving” it. Self love is loving yourself the way you are. Some gentle tweaks, ok. But not doing something unnecessarily brutal in the name of vanity that nobody but herself even notices. submitted by /u/mia_farrah to r/theskinnyconsnark [link] [comments]

This is Iryna before #Russia came to our land. She was learning makeup and had plans. She lived in Bucha. This is her hand with manicure on the graphic photo that many of you have seen. Russians killed Iryna and hundreds of humans like her. Just because they were Ukrainians.
