Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 with or without arm rests?
Hi Guys, I have a curious question: I've seen in many esports tournaments that players often remove the armrests from the Secretlab Titan Evo chair. My question to you is the same: do you guys use it with or without armrests? The reason why I got curious is that I was struggling to find the best posture for gaming. I mainly play Valorant and I've owned my titan evo since 2024 (I have titan evo 2022 model). However, earlier I used to have a fixed height desk which was a bit high in length so I didn't had much options but to pull the chair up to the max height but ofcourse my arm rests collided with the desk. Now that I have a height adjustable desk I thought of experiementing with the height in a way that my arm rests slide under the desk and I can have my arms on the desk for better aim control. This worked out nicely, but I noticed that I'm now shrugging my shoulders while playing that results in shoulder fatigue over long gaming sessions, if I change the height of my chair then problem remains the same that my arm rests will collide with the desk, I took the call of removing the arm rests and while it worked out to be great for valorant session, for work/chill sessions it feels awkward and not right. What do you guys do and what will be your recommendations? I have a full-time job and I work from home most of the days and I play a lot of Valorant also and sometimes watch movies & anime on my setup. submitted by /u/utkarshs432 to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

What are the changes in the Secretlab Titan Evo 2025/2026 compared to the 2022 version?
I recently visited the Secretlab website and noticed the Titan Evo has been updated to the 2025/2026 version. What exactly are the differences compared to the 2022 version? I previously owned the 2022 model, but I ended up selling it because the lumbar support position didn't fit me right and the headrest was uncomfortable. Have these specific issues been resolved in the 2025/2026 version? I really love Secretlab's design, so if the comfort has improved, I'd definitely like to buy one again. Any insights would be appreciated! submitted by /u/Cultural-Diamond-87 to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

New Titan Evo: Is this subtle recline 'clack' normal or am I overthinking it?
Hi everyone, I was looking at this post:https://www.reddit.com/r/secretlab/comments/z9ggvy/titan_evo_2022_xl_clanking_from_recline_mechanism/ I actually just received my Titan Evo and noticed mine does something similar, although it's much more subtle. When I lean back firmly, I can feel a tiny bit of movement and hear a faint 'clack.' It’s very minimal, so I’m not sure if I’m just being too particular or if that's standard behavior for the mechanism? Has anyone else noticed this micro-movement? Aside from that small question, I'm really happy with the purchase so far. submitted by /u/NoFirefighter5784 to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

Secretlabs 2022 Fabric Titian vs NanoGen
TL:DR - NanoGen feels worth it. Would recommend for purchasing for first SecretLabs chair. If you already have one, no reason to upgrade until you need to. The “Too long”: I struggled to find information on comparing the new NanoGen with the OG chairs before I made the purchase and now, having made the purchase, I thought I would share my two cents. (Have mercy on me, I cleaned the chair after I took the photos, after cleaning, the dusty look disappeared) FYI: 5’9”, 190lbs. Original Titan Evo: I had the regular size fabric Titan Evo since July of 2022. Averaging 20-30 hours a week of sitting in it. A little less than 4 years later it’s still pretty much brand new. I will add that on long sessions, 10hr+, I would find myself fidgeting around and getting uncomfortable, but hell, that’s kind of expected. Regular size - NanoGen Titan Evo: I received the new chair with an extreme amount of packing material. I kinda dig the way SecretLabs ships their stuff. First impressions, touching with my hand, very soft, feels great. However, when I actually sit on it, kinda hard, stiff, but not uncomfortable. It also feels ever so slightly smaller than the regular Titan. It could all be in my head but I posted pictures for you to decide. I prefer the slightly smaller size as the armrest feels like they fit me better now. (Again, maybe all in my head) I did not notice a difference in stiffness or softness of the back of the chair. The seat was the only thing that stood out. Additionally, there is a chemical smell to it, not terrible, but I figured I would note it. If you have ever had a latex foam pillow, it smells like that, I assume it will go away after a while. The chair feels cool when you first sit down. Did not feel myself getting hot. But once summer hits it will be a better measure. The same: Everything else. Build quality still feels great. Went together just like the other. Packaging was great. I’ve recommended SecretLabs chairs to many people, not a “one size fits all”, but it’s probably a “one size fits most” kind of chair. I’ll try to remember to come back in 3-6 months after a potential break in period to see if the seat softens a bit. (Again, still not uncomfortable) submitted by /u/ImJustKeating_ to r/gamingchairs [link] [comments]

Secretlab Titan evo 2022

My new #secretlab Titan Evo 2022 (SoftWeave)
Bought a Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 (SoftWeave) and unfortunately for my bank account… it’s actually class. I sit at a desk all day and this is the first chair that hasn’t left me feeling like I need a lie down and a physio by 5pm. The seat is firm at first, but in a “supporting your life choices” way, not a medieval torture device way. SoftWeave fabric is unreal... breathable, comfy, and no swamp-back like the cheap faux-leather chairs we’ve all suffered through. The adjustable lumbar actually does something (shocking, I know), and the magnetic headrest just snaps into place like it knows where your head lives. Armrests adjust every which way, so you can finally stop destroying your shoulders pretending your setup is “fine”. Only thing that mildly does my head in is the Secretlab logo on the armrests... pure OCD gripe, but I’d rather not be petting a logo all day. Stick it on the side and we’re golden. Also adjustable seat depth would make it basically perfect. All in all, it feels more like a proper ergonomic office chair that accidentally looks like a gaming chair. Painful money spent, but my back is delighted... and unfortunately, it was probably worth it. https://preview.redd.it/ohszyxcp1cdg1.jpg?width=1095&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=317dd61e83d06b03d448f6acab8c6fae6b30f0f3 submitted by /u/maai11 to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

2018 Titan owner. Will I like the 2022 Titan Evo?
Hi secretlab community. I am an owner of a 2018 Titan. I love the chair, but it's a bit worse for wear. I am looking at getting a 2022 Titan Evo regular, empire edition. I am 180 cm tall and 215 pounds. I know regular will fit me. Will I like the new model if I like my Titan? Is the seat noticeably firmer? Would love to hear from people who have made a similar jump. secretlab titan evo 2022 - lateral wobble
Hey everyone, I’m looking for feedback from other Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 owners. I understand there can be some normal tolerance, but my chair has a noticeable left/right side-to-side movement and I honestly feel it’s beyond what should be considered normal. I’m hoping this is something that can be properly fixed. In the video, the tilt is locked and I’m applying gentle side-to-side pressure on the seat base (not the armrests) to show the movement. Even with the tilt tension set to maximum, the side-to-side movement is still there. This isn’t the only issue I’ve had, and the chair is not even 1 week old, which is why I’m concerned. Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, what ended up being the solution (multi-tilt mechanism, gas lift, something else)? Thanks in advance for any insight. https://reddit.com/link/1ps71pr/video/sxyyxns2bk8g1/player submitted by /u/Maximum-Ad8293 to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

Secretlab TITAN Evo szék: Megéri a befektetést a kényelem?
Végső Ajánlás: Megéri a Befektetés?

Issue(?) with new Titan Evo NanoGen
Hi all, From a quick search while writing this post, it seems it has been an issue 4+ years ago that was acknowledged by support. Curious how many other peoples' chairs nowadays still behave this way. I have messaged support and was met with the same response twice saying it was 'working as intended' which I shall include below. The issue (video below): When reclining, the lever does not latch in when fully reclined - the chair needs to come up a couple degrees before it does. 1) This makes it difficult to recline and lock in both quickly and quietly. 2) I need to take the weight off the backrest before pulling the lever to avoid jolting back and making a loud noise. I have a 2018 Omega Stealth and a 2021 Omega that does not behave in this way. Vidio demonstrating the issue compared to my Omega Response from support: Thank you for your response. I've taken a look at the video you have provided and would like to reassure you that your chair is working as intended. What you are experiencing is the feeling of the recline lever self-adjusting into the groove of the recline mechanism. It may be slightly difficult to visualize this, but imagine a gear with teeth. The recline lever, when released, falls on the tip of a gear tooth and slips down the tooth, and falls into the groove between two teeth - this secures the backrests in their intended locking position. I hope this addresses your query, and I look forward to your response! Thank you. Disappointing if this is intended on a AU$1000+ chair. submitted by /u/ThePhaleWail to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

Can’t find the serial number on my Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 (SoftWeave blue)
Hey everyone, I just got a Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 (SoftWeave blue) and I’m trying to locate its serial number for warranty/registration purposes but I can’t find it anywhere. I already checked: • Between the seat base and the backrest (both sides) • Under the seat • The assembly card and box it came in • The small NFC tag on the right side of the backrest None of these seem to show a visible serial number. Does anyone know exactly where it’s located on this model, or if Secretlab stopped including physical serial numbers in newer versions? Thanks in advance! Titan Evo 2022 – backrest bolsters/wings feel uneven?
Hey everyone, I’ve had my Titan Evo 2022 (Regular size) for about two years now, and it’s been great overall. But in the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed something; the backrest bolsters feel uneven, like there’s more pressure on my right side to the point it's painful when sitting multiple hours in the chair, it's not comfortable anymore. The chair looks properly aligned, the seat base, backrest, and armrests all seem straight. I haven’t gained or lost any weight, and my posture/setup hasn’t changed. It just suddenly started feeling off, like one side of the backrest is firmer or pushing in more than the other. Has anyone else experienced this? Could the internal padding or frame have shifted over time? I’m wondering if there’s a fix I can try myself, or if I should reach out to Secretlab support. Would appreciate any insight or tips before I start taking things apart or filing a ticket. Thanks! submitted by /u/BetweenTheTines to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

Secretlab TITAN Evo Review After 3.5 Years - DO NOT BUY
I was carried away when reacting to one of the "Finally ordered my TITAN Evo" posts, so I just wrote this review there as a comment and also decided to post it as a separate post to help others avoid poor financial decision as I did. Context: I have got one at start of 2022 for around EUR ~600. I am a home-office worker who sists on this chair for +8h a day on workdays and about 2-5h on weekends. I got this chair because I was caught in a wave of promo materials and assumption that "Surely, gaming chair that costs 2-3X price of office chair will be 2-3X nicer". So I guess I'm fully qualified to give critics to it. Also I'm pretty average build and height, so none of the problems should be attributed to me getting wrong version/size of the chair. Pros: Nice "gamer"-y aesthetic while not being too obnoxious. Unboxing and assembly experience is nice and polished. Feels nice when you see a lot of creators use the same chair as you. Build quality, at first, feels really premium. Magnetic plush for your neck is really nice. Material used for exterior feels and looks nice even after 3.5 years of daily usage. Support is really quick to reply. Never had to wait for longer than 2 days. Cons: Absolutely inconsistent padding firmness. My friend got one (And sold it year ago for a normal office chair because his back kept hurting) and firmness on his model was really nice. On my model, purchased a year after, it was rock hard. I hoped that it would get better as I sit more on it, but still, 3.5 years later it's rock hard. I know that firm padding is good for your back, but this one feels like sitting on a wooden bench with a thin towel over it. Quality drops QUICK. In 3.5 years I had: 2 replacements of armrest paddings (They just ripped along. Both in same place. Never had anything like this on any chair) Replacement of tilting mechanism (Tilting mechanism just randomly decided to jam so hard, that I was not able to unjam it without using power tools) (Since replacement mechanist was entire complete lower part of chair - I had to arrange disposal and recycling of old one. A lot of pain in the bum!) Replacement for rubberized casters (2 casters started loosing bearings and broke down completely) Half a year ago I noticed that some kind of small metal pin or spring under padding popped, so I can see and feel it through cloth. Of course, since it's not (yet) functional failure - not covered by warranty. Replaced armrest paddings also ripped the same way as initial ones, but this time way faster - just in under 6 months. Clanking and creaking from places where you absolutely can't get with WD-40 to service it without doing deep disassembly. Armrests feel just maracas - rattling and wobble that you get from those bad boys are out of this world. Ergonomics are horrible. At first you gaslight yourself that adjustable lumbar support help your back, but it just lasts till your back starts to hurt like hell. There is no support for your back except you leaning against with all your body against the backrest. So you either start to sit crooked and all, or you get really tired really quick. Also stiffness and "racer-seat" shape of chair itself does not contribute to mobility of your back at all. And I'm aware that this is a problem with all "gaming" chairs. But the audacity to call this chair "ergonomic" is just crazy. Included plastic casters are plain HORRIBLE. They roll bad on carpets. They damage hardwood floors (Noticed after 6 months). They get all the gunk and hair in the world on them. Your only option is to by a set of "rollerblade"-type casters. But whatever you do - don't buy them from SecretLab. As mentioned above, QC on those is just horrendous and alternatives are cheaper, while having smaller risk of being from a bad batch. All of the things above where partially solved by support. But some where solved not because it was covered by warranty, but rather as a "gesture of good will". This means that at further any point of time, or at your specific circumstances, you won't get any help, even though it was a clearly defective product. (This one is pretty individual, but still part of my experience) - during hot summer months, somehow, this cloth chair is as hot as leather one ! After a day of working it's just drenched in sweat. Never had this experience with mesh office chairs. Bottom line: It's really nice view piece if you want to feel like cool content creator and you don't really sit on your chair. Avoid it if you intend to use it as chair. There are plenty of really nice ergonomic office chairs that are MILES BETTER and CHEAPER than this. Yes, they look more "normal", but you can't see your chair with your back. But you can feel your back when it hurts or sweats 🫠 submitted by /u/foxyloxyreddit to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

Titan Evo XL - First Premium Chair - #secretlab
So this is my first chair purchase over $200 bucks. I was getting tired of needing to drop another chunk of change on a new chair every 18-24 months, so the 5 year warranty was a big draw. Having the chair in house, the unboxing experience was fantastic, despite FedEx doing a number on the exterior box. The material (SoftWeave) reminds me a lot of the cloth of my 2022 Civic Si seats. I especially love the blue accents and stitching. Not sure what changed between the 2022 and 2024, but this is a 2024 edition. As far as the size, it's just a hair too tall for me on the lowest setting, but it's nice and wide and feels exceptionally solid. Especially great when my 2.5 year old kid wants to jump up and watch me game. I'm 5'9" and about 240, so I mostly went XL for the weight capacity. Yes, it's a bit firm, but I feel like that's over blown and I'm sure it'll break in nicely. secretlab submitted by /u/KingConspirator to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

[Review] Secretlab TITAN Evo XL 2022 (SoftWeave® Plus Black) – After 1 Year of Daily Use
Hey folks, I wanted to drop a quick review of my Secretlab TITAN Evo XL 2022, which I’ve been using for over a year now. I work from home full-time and game pretty heavily in my free time—so this chair easily sees 8–12 hours of use daily. My Setup: • Skin: Cyberpunk Edition • Model: TITAN Evo 2022 XL • Upholstery: SoftWeave® Plus Fabric – Black Comfort & Support Straight up: this chair delivers. I can sit in it all day without back pain, fatigue, or needing to constantly shift around. The lumbar support dial was something I thought was a gimmick, but it’s become a must-have for me. Combined with the magnetic memory foam head pillow, it really helps with posture and long sessions. The XL sizing is perfect for me (bigger guy here) — wide seat base, good leg support, and just enough firmness to stay comfortable over long periods. Fabric & Durability I went for the SoftWeave® Plus version in black, and I’m honestly super impressed. It’s soft and breathable — perfect for long days, especially in warmer months. After over a year of daily use, there’s no fraying, pilling, or fading. Still looks and feels brand new. It also doesn’t trap heat or get sticky like leather does after hours of sitting. Build Quality This chair is built like a tank. The tilt, recline, and armrest mechanisms all still work like day one. The magnetic armrests are cool and super adjustable (I use the inward tilt for gaming), but they can come loose if you hit them hard — hasn’t been a real issue though. Final Thoughts I was skeptical spending this much on a chair, but after a year of use, I can honestly say it’s 100% worth it. Whether I’m grinding through work or relaxing with some Star Citizen in the evening, I never think about the chair — and that’s probably the best compliment I can give it. If you sit for long hours like I do, and especially if you want something breathable and durable, the SoftWeave® Plus version is fantastic. Happy to answer questions! submitted by /u/teddilp to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

SecretLab Titan Evo 2022 gave me shoulder impingement & bursitis - My experience
Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the SecretLab Titan Evo 2022 in hopes of helping others who might be experiencing similar issues or considering buying this chair. After using the Titan Evo for a while, I developed severe shoulder and neck pain. Eventually got it checked out by a doctor and was diagnosed with shoulder impingement and bursitis, as well as tight nerves down my arm. The kicker? I switched to a basic kitchen chair and the problems started improving. The main issue seems to be with the headrest design and wings design. It pushes your head and upper back forward in an unnatural position, which forces your shoulders to round forward. This constant poor posture led to serious muscle tightness in my neck, upper back and shoulders, and I believe this is what caused my shoulder impingement. The chair also caused intense tightness and pain in my right hip. I kept trying to adjust the chair settings thinking I just hadn't found the right position, but nothing helped. I know SecretLab chairs are highly rated and many people love them, but I think it's important to share negative experiences too. Everyone's body is different, and what works for some might be harmful for others. For reference, I'm now using a basic kitchen chair and feeling much better. The shoulder pain has significantly decreased and my hip isn't bothering me anymore. Just wanted to put this out there for anyone who might be experiencing similar issues or considering dropping $500+ on this chair. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their SecretLab chair? Edit: To clarify, I'm not saying all SecretLab chairs are bad, just sharing my personal experience and the specific issues I encountered. submitted by /u/debagnox to r/secretlab [link] [comments]

READ ME before buying an Titan EVO 2022...seat comfort is an issue!
***See my week 6 update at the bottom...spoiler alert: I returned the chair. **\* TLDR; the #Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 seat was NOT comfortable for me (5'10", 155lb, not alot in the glutes dept). It felt like a wooden bench with a ridge running down the middle & a pronounced hump under my tailbone. Maybe the ridge is supposed to make it more ergonomically correct for people with larger glutes, but I don't have those, and it feels like I have a rock & a 2x4 under my crotch. Rather than go through multiple iterations with the product team to see if I got a defective chair, I relied on other long-term reviews discussing the long-term rigidity of the seats and determined this chair simply wasn't made for me. As a general note, I searched for a full-spectrum of reviews prior to making the purchase but couldn't find any dissenting opinions, hence my purchase...and then the real reviews appeared out of nowhere after I bought the chair. Best of luck with your purchase, and if you buy a chair, I hope it works out for you. https://preview.redd.it/ar3bdqb27r281.jpg?width=1908&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eff3492d7d16ac181b7b01c986fb64995c0cb759 Let me start by saying that I was extremely excited about this purchase. I couldn't wait to upgrade to the seat everyone raved about, and I was 100% looking forward to replacing my current chair. Unfortunately, my first impression of the seat is turning into a complete letdown, pushing me closer and closer to the "buyer's remorse" category. With that, here's my honest review...and I'm also submitting this review to Secretlab to get my 2 year warranty extension...fingers crossed... Pros: - Shipping was amazingly fast. - The seat looks great. - The magnetic headrest is a great idea and very comfortable (so far, it's the only comfortable part of the chair). Cons: Comfort: It is the exact opposite of comfortable for me. The seat feels like a wooden bench with just the slightest amount of cushioning; one Reddit review said the seat is shipped from the factory like this intentionally, and multiple reviews said it'll soften up a little bit...but that's it, just a little bit. None of the feedback actually stated/implied that we'll end up with the "cloud" feeling, and I wish I would've put more value into that context. Instead of more real reviews, we're flooded with so many positive reviews from people, videos, & publications saying their brand new Titan Evo 2022's are the most comfortable chair ever and it feels like they're sitting on a cloud. Apart from the wooden bench feeling, there's a ridge or something sticking up in the middle, and it feels like there's a rock or a 2x4 under the seat. If the seat softens up, but the ridge remains, I'm screwed (potentially literally). And then there's the seatback... the cushioning also feels like a rock, and it's not due to the lumbar support...and I don't know how that's going to break-in since it's not bearing much load. Given the apparent binary nature of the seat's softness, I can only assume that I either got a dud (and I emailed customer service to get their input), I got screwed by affiliate marketing on YouTube, other websites, and 26,600 questionable 5-star reviews on the Secretlabs website, OR this seat just isn't built for people with my body type. And I seriously hate mentioning that last item, but if it's neither a manufacturing defect nor an affiliate marketing masterclass, I can't otherwise understand all the "most comfortable seat ever" comments. Assembly: Assembly went well except for attaching the seatback. The screw holes on the right side of the seatback didn't align with the seat bottom's right side rail because the metal tab on the seatback assembly prevented the seatback rail from fully 'seating' in position (see my second pic). It doesn't look like much, but that millimeter of discrepancy won't allow the screw through. This is definitely a manufacturing issue. If you have to deal with this, just push down really really really hard on the seat back, so hard that you feel like you're going to destroy your $500 chair, to the point where you can actually insert the screw. Then, once the screw is inserted at an off angle, you'll likely have to use the screw as a lever to actually make everything align; I didn't like the fact that I had to do that, but it helped everything finally align. Still, not cool for a $500 chair. Arm rests: In the lowest position (which is where I wanted them), the left arm rest bounced off the bottom of the arm assembly, making an annoying clicking sound (not the normal noise arm rests make when you move around). This is not something you can adjust (ie you can't tighten any bolts or do anything else). Luckily, raising the arm rests one notch eliminated the noise, but now they're not at my preferred level. Additionally, from the factory, the arm rests in the farthest out position. The instructions provide guidance on adjusting the armrests further inwards (by undoing all the bolts under the seat and pushing them in), but even in the closest position, and then with the adjustable part of the armrest moved all the way inwards, they're still too far out for my preference. Luckily, I found that rotating the armrests outward did the trick for me; in my pic, that's why they're pointed outwards. Maybe I'm getting into prima donna territory with the arm rests, but for all the boasting about adjustability, it wasn't adjustable enough. https://preview.redd.it/s1l561u77r281.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f21db7d4e360b471c15f4de0a17d9b6585404846 Summary: I know this was alot, but I just wanted to provide some honest feedback. Take it FWIW, but I value first impressions, and my first impression of this chair is marginal-poor. I'll revise this review if the comfort improves. but I won't delete my initial experience because people need to know what they're getting into with this chair. And to be 100% honest, if return shipping wasn't insanely expensive, this $500 wooden bench would already be back in the box, heading back to the warehouse. I wonder if I'll get the 2 year warranty extension... ***Update 1: They gave me the warranty extension! I'm shocked, given my review so far. ***Update 2: I received a response from Secretlab customer support regarding the seat comfort. It's almost assuredly a boilerplate response. Here's what they said (I added italics for emphasis): "Based on the information provided, the firmness of the seat base appears to be normal. It is by design for our seat's foam to be firmer, as a firmer chair encourages better sitting habits. You can also read up more on this here: https://blog.secretlab.co/stories/is-a-hard-or-soft-chair-better/. If you are transitioning from a softer seat, some time may be needed to adjust to the chair. This may require some time and use (between 4-6 weeks of use), for the seat to be broken in. In the meantime, you can try out the following to help with this process: Play around with your lumbar knob - start with just a bit and then work your way up to see which setting works best for you as no two user's body is the same Play around with the recline and tilt features - you can recline your backrest a bit along with adjusting the tilt settings of your seat and these might make it easier on your back Should you still find the seat to be too firm for your preference after trying these tips out, you can contact me again and I will be happy to help! I will also be noting this concern down so that the team is aware of this." WTF...4-6 weeks?...for my $500 chair to get comfortable. Wow. ***Update 3: In an effort to help accelerate the 4-6 week break-in process, I sat in the chair while watching TV last night. I sat down, locked the tilt to a reclining position, and propped my feet up on the ottoman. 20 minutes later, the combo of a rock-hard seat back and the (fully disengaged) lumbar support made my sitting experience absolutely intolerable. It literally felt like I was sitting/laying on a concrete bench. Was I naïve to think that this chair could be used for leisurely watching TV? I didn't think so...but wow, it was not pleasant. And maybe it's just because the seat isn't broken in yet...wait, because my body hasn't adapted to it yet. Secretlabs, I'm really really trying to find the positives here...and I'll give it time for the break-in/body adaptation...but c'mon, this is not a comfortable experience. ***Update 4...week 3 report: After three weeks of sitting in the chair, the seat cushion has magically transformed from a wooden bench to a wooden bench with a 1mm cushion on it. Meaning...it softened in probably the most minimal amount possible, and it's still incredibly uncomfortable. Not to mention the hump in the middle of the seat that's becoming more pronounced, helping me feel like I'm sitting on a rock or a 2x4; I can't figure out if it's supposed to me there for ergo reasons or if it's because of the seat post, but it's very noticeable. The seat back is a different story in that it hasn't changed at all...it still feels like a wooden board. When I lean back in the chair, my head is cradled in the actually-super-comfortable pillow, but then it feels like my back is laying on a concrete floor. The end result of sitting in the chair for an entire day: I still feel like I've been sitting on the floor...forcing me to shift around alot just to stay seated...and then at the end of the day, my body feels fatigued and my back hurts (and not from incorrect sitting position or incorrect lumbar support settings, but from sitting on something rock hard for a long period of time). Oh, and now the back is starting to creak when I move around...it sounds like the creaks are coming from the lumbar support area, so maybe that takes 4-6 weeks to settle in too.Needless to say, I'm still not impressed. ***Update 5...the final report: After 5 weeks of sitting in the chair, the seat cushion comfort never improved beyond my report from week 3(immediately above). In addition to the seat hardness, the hump in the middle of the seat was becoming more pronounced, causing the discomfort/pain to show up quicker and quicker each day, making the experience all the worse. Additionally, I subsequently heard from quite a few other people stating their 2020 models never improved with time(in terms of cushion comfort), lending credence to the idea that the seat wouldn't improve for me, and then I'd be stuck with it after the return period closed. And rather than working with the product group to maybe get a new cushion to see if it might improve, I decided to get rid of the chair. I know the Titan chair works for alot of people, and I was extremely excited when I bought the chair, but it definitely didn't work for me. If you buy the chair, good luck with your experience, and hopefully it works out for you. submitted by /u/spinneraf to r/secretlab [link] [comments]
