I've turned off the power of my old Cooking Stoves at a Small Shack I built during my initial outpost build-up so that my cooks don't ever use it. I've established my main cookhouse in an Outpost s-IV I've built. But every time I load the game file, I've noticed that the cooking stoves are automatically turning themselves on.

I'm agonizing over choice of stove for a retro kitchen renovation. I love the look of vintage stoves, but also want to stick with electric for environmental reasons and to avoid the expense/hassle of running a new gas line. Lots of great convos on here about vintage gas stoves, but does anybody have an experience living with/cooking on a 1930s-1950s electric stove they'd be willing to share?

Wondering why the emphasis is placed on proper water tank venting to prevent carbon monoxide from entering the home. Yet at the same time, gas stoves with constantly burning pilot light, 4 burners plus oven have no venting to the outside what so ever. Anytime something is burned, water vapor and carbon monoxide is generated.

Hi, we are doing a kitchen remodel for our new house. And I love the lacanche stoves! I Just contacted for a quote and their estimated delivery timeframe is 9 months!! I don't think we can wait 9 months before moving to the new house, and with 3 kids I don't think we can go without oven. Anybody has dealt with this? is there anyway to buy lacanche locally?

Just wondering how good hrv systems are at stopping smoke from coming into the house? In still winter days when people have their stoves light, the smell comes through my wall vents, would HRV stop that and if so what filters would work best for that? I heard of people using charcoal filters and others using hepa filters, but dont know which is better?
