Throw away Account as my partner knows my main one. I am 32years old, female, have been swinging with my partner (37 years) every now and then. However, especially during some of the events I dissociated and I couldn’t say no to some things. He was upset too as I wasn’t following some rules we agreed (like equal play, no deep throat, no too long sex session with the other guy, checking in by eye contact) I talked to him that it is hard to assert myself, that I dissociate and I need a break. I literally was paralyzed. He only understood when I was laying like a dead fish once… also when i got upset that he was just passive and didnt really check jn on me too. We are on the break from swinging for 2 months. However, I don’t feel anything when we two have sex. By now at least I can enjoy myself alone a bit. However he started to talk about swinging last weekend. I wonder what happened and what I can do? 97 year old man, wife died 3 months ago, and had a fall while walking his dog. Hip is broken. Family requested him on ibuprofen only because "addiction runs in the family" (HE has never been addicted and is, again, 97). Doctor complied. He was on gabapentin and Tegretol. Doctor took him off the tegretol and put him on Keppra. Gabapentin was increased for nerve pain, but then dropped from 800 mg 3x daily to 600 3x daily. Family said it made him too sleepy so they lowered it to 300 mg 3 times a day. He couldn't sleep at night with 6 mg of melatonin so they gave him 15 mg of Remeron RIGHT off the bat. Had another fall in the hospital, knee is shattered now. His daughter lowered all the bed side rails and turned off his bed alarm because she was scared of him moving too much and it going off and scaring her. Still on ibuprofen and also tylenol. Multiple CT scans with contrast. Two surgeries now. Multiple rectal laxatives because of constipation. Rectal Tylenol for some reason??? Foley + no brief policy hospital. Patient reports he wished he died because he hates life. Now on Lexapro with a sitter. All personal belongings removed from room, constantly watched by a 19 year old CNA, and cannot have visitors now because of hospital policy. TV in room is broken. Family can't find glasses so wearing a pair from Walmart. No physical aggression, just cursing at and refusing care. Staff reports he goes from fine to snapping at sitter, crying, and bouts of silliness. Me & my husband have been together for 5 years. He has two friends from college who are a couple, Mike (M30) & Tina (F28). They've all been close since we met, and I immediately liked them both, and they really took to me as well. I really feel like they are my friends too A while back they told me that they were in an open relationship and enjoyed swinging. This was after we all had a few drinks & I talked about how my husband was my first relationship & my first sexual partner. They knew that already, but this time the talk got a bit more into specifics. They weren't pressuring me into anything & I didn't feel like they were trying to get me into anything (you all know the meme). I didn't think this thing was for me, and honestly I still don't. But they've been together many years and if that works for them - all power to them. Well ever since they told me, my husband got kinda weird. Mike & Tina didn't really bring the subject up anymore, but my husband kinda just wouldn't let it go. At first he kept asking me if I thought Mike was good-looking, or if I thought he was nice. And he kept enthusing about Tina - how Tina was so hot, and Tina was such a good wife, and such a good friend, and so kind. I know he had a thing for Tina way back, but tgought that was over since she was with Mike. Then he started talking about how hot it made him thinking about me with another man, or another woman, and the talk would always get him really excited and we'd have sex. I thought it was kinda off, but he seemed happy & excited so I let it be. Then his birthday rolled around and I asked him what he wanted, and he tells me he wants to reach out to Mike & Tina to see if they're into swinging. At first I wasn't really into it, but he kept asking, and begging. He told me he was bored with our sex life and it needed "spicing up". This really hurt my feelings because there's a lot of stuff I wasn't really into but let him do because I thought it made him happy. Whenever I asked him to do something he'd shoot it down or say it made him uncomfortable. Anyway he kept insisting and eventually I agreed. This got him really excited & he told me not to worry about it, and he'd talk it out with Mike & Tina and he'd take care of everything and I was the best wife in the world, which made me really happy, because it's been a while since he was this excited about me. So the day comes, and we meet up at their house and Mike & Tina are being really sweet. And they keep checking comfort levels and... this is the problem. See - the way we did it was that first Tina & me did some stuff as the men watched and... it was nice. I felt very sexy, and very cared for, and Tina seemed really happy too. Then Mike took me to the bedroom while my husband & Tina stayed in the living room. And it was lovely. Mike was so attentive and so excited and again I felt really beautiful and really desirable. We stayed there for apparently a really long time, and I think I looked maybe too happy when we returned to the living room? And when we returned it was kinda weird, because Tina & my husband were just kinda sitting there on their phones & my husband looked kinda upset. And he said something like "oh finally" and said it was time to go home and I barely got a chance to say goodbye. Ever since, my husband's been a bit weird - he doesn't talk about it anymore and when I try to tell him about my time with Mike or ask about Tina he just shuts down. We haven't really talked to them since. But also the sex drive is gone. The few times we did have sex since I realized he doesn't really... do it for me anymore. And it seems like he doesn't even wanna try anymore. I met Tina a few days ago and an we talked. I told her everything because I felt really alone in this and really wanted to talk to someone. I asked her about what happened with my husband and she told me he just finished really quickly and wasn't really into satisfying her before or afterwards. She wasn't really botheres and told me men were like that sometimes with her but she said he got distant & defensive & she didn't really wanted to talk to him anymore, but she thought I was lovely & Mike thought so too, which made me feel really good about myself. Then she said she kinda got it though, since I was really into it & he just came along. This got a literal "excuse me WTF" out of me. Then we talked some more and turns out my husband had been setting this up for weeks - way before I agreed. And he kept telling them he was doing this for me, and I was really into it and kept insisting I brought it up and was really into it, which is a total lie. Then we talk more & the more we talked the more I realize just how unsatisfied I am in my relationship, both emotionally & sexually. I don't think polyamory, swinging, open relationships etc. Is for me. But I think being married to my husband isn't really for me either. I don't wanna sound spoiled or entitled, but at the very least I think I deserve to be with a man who won't lie to me, and who will make me feel loved & satisfied, or at least, I dunno, make the effort? I haven't talked to him about this yet, but I just think I really needed to put it into words before going ahead with this. About 2 years ago, my husband and I got into a weird situation. Drugs were involved and some friends suggested a “swap”. I didn’t really want to, but went through with it after the other 3 assured me it would be fine. It was fine. I looked at it as a one time “woah, that was a crazy thing we did”. My husband spent months asking me to sleep with other women. I would feel guilty for not giving him this, but ultimately I know that I am not confident enough to be OK with this. He went so far as to make us a swingers account and chat with a couple. That was very hurtful for me. I told him time after time that I was not OK with that and that if that’s what he needed to do, he would be doing that without me and outside of our marriage. He “snapped out” of this behavior about a year ago and has apologized profusely, saying he doesn’t want other women. Until tonight, he got drunk and asked me if I would be OK with “renting him out” for a few hours. In my mind, this is irreversible damage and I can’t believe he would do this again. I have said this is a hard no and a boundary I will not let up on many times. Husband of 7 years introduced me to a swinging couple one year ago. I tried with him to swap with them but put a stop to it as I did not like it. I see this couple every day at drop off and pick up at my daughter’s school as their daughter goes to the same classroom as our daughter. He has knocked up and aborted with the wife twice!!! When this was all discovered he left for two weeks and stayed at the AP and her husband’s house!!!! We have since tried to reconcile but to no avail.
