This is what the entire Ticketmaster.fr website shows, regardless of whether I'm using my phone on mobile, any browser on my PC and it literally displays this on any of my friends phones (in different cities). I am trying to sell 3 tickets for the Sunday Tampa show after getting better tickets for Tuesday and I just want to vent about how aggravating this process has been. The staggered sales were stressful because we didn’t know if we would get tickets to the show that went on sale later that we actually wanted. So we bought tickets just in case, assuming with such high interest, we could sell them at face value on Ticketmaster later. Then the “event organizers” wouldn’t open resale on Ticketmaster. Now we are stuck trying to either sell them with high fees on sites or on social media in a sea of scammers. It just feels like there are still people out there who want to buy tickets but just don’t want to be scammed and would purchase on Ticketmaster. And then a lot of us who just want to be able to put them up for face value in a legitimate and trustworthy place. There are going to be a lot of empty seats because of the really stupid way this has been handled. Last Tuesday, we went to a TWICE concert in Montreal. We bought the resale tickets from official Ticketmaster web before the concert started. And the tickets weren’t showing and showing "in processing", we were waiting in the arena for a long time, and the concert had already started for 25 min. We contacted the box office, and they cant see our tickets because its "in processing". And we just can't wait, so we called their customer support team, one of the agents told us that the tickets will be refunded, and let us buy a new one. We double-checked with her and asked her whether these tickets would be refunded, and she said YES. so we bought the new tickets and enjoyed the concert. However, after the concert ended, their support team emailed us to say they cannot refund us, because "Ticketmaster is contracted to sell tickets on behalf of the Event Organizers who sets the rules for refunds. Unfortunately, the Event Organizer for this event is not authorizing us to issue refunds. For these reasons we cannot refund your order." This is crazy cuz this refund was initiated by their own agent, and they even rejected the refund request. They PROMISED us that we could get our money back. I was shocked and I tried to reach them on Instagram and X today, but no one is responding... this is a scam. If their freaking system were more effective, none of these things would happen. If they didn't tell us to buy new tickets, we won't get those. even stubhub is better than them. Now I'm disputing with my bank and will call BBB if it doesn't work. I’m an avid concert-goer and have bought tickets on the site before, but not for shows that have dynamic pricing/“platinum tickets” yet. I’m getting ready for a presale, and am confused about the best way to go about it. My understanding is that the queue is totally random, so getting in there 1hr early doesn’t necessarily matter, but is there a better chance to enter the queue 30 minutes later so the tickets that I do see aren’t $800-$1K? (Prices are based off on people posting about the specific concert I’m trying to go to lol) I’m just worried if I try to join to late, all the tickets will be gone! As the title states, Fuck Ticketmaster. At 10am est, tickets for one of my favorite bands went on sale, Pavement. I set an alarm and sat in a queue for 10 minutes before they went on sale. As soon as it turned 10am, all tickets were sold out except for a few on the mezzanine at the Agora Theater. Those tickets were 363 a piece. Very steep but I've never seen the band so I decided to bite the bullet and buy. Only three seats are available, so I try to buy two tickets. I get an alert that "It's standing room only and you can't buy just two tickets and leave the single spot open." So I have to buy ALL THREE SEATS to get tickets?! Almost 1k?!
