Hello fellow 6G Runners! Got the SR5, 3-rows, 4wd last year and now with 20,000 miles. Most of the add ons are my original ideas and all DIYs except the wheels/tires. Finally got the rims and tires on my 2-12 little genius. I know the tire sizes arent right, but its better than the plow continuing to sit. Did a little bit of plowing, 400 is much too big for it though.

Lazy guy that bought this new, appears to have been waxing the inside of his clamshell fenders.  The wax residue is like concrete. And the guy that bought it from him is getting out of control after mounting new tires and painting rims

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?

Anyone here have experience owning a g20/g30 out of warranty at a specialist indie? What is the rough annual maintenance cost? I am going to get a used one soon, and I would love to know about owner feedback. I can spare RM7.5k max for maintenance including tires and brakes but excluding insurance and road tax, enough?

Helldivers 2 has a bunch of unique boosters I would love to be able to use but i feel like it’s a detriment to experiment in this game. Just had 4 new Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02s on and the shop filled one tire to 90. I thought it was a sensor error so I reset the sensors. Tire was still reading that. Took out a tire pressure gauge and it was actually 90. I immediately deflated it down to what it should be. What 26ers are people riding for mostly city/gravel bike path that’s fairly quick on pavement for getting into the city but still fun on moderate wet/loose path and hopping curbs? Currently have Vittoria Mezcals but they are near the end of their life. Thinking something a bit quicker on pavement without having a pure road tire or marathon. Growing up, my parents would always get their tires changed at dealerships like toyota or honda for example and would always get Goodyear or firestone. Is there anything wrong with getting tires at Walmart? I have heard that there aren’t as reliable and I’ve seen some cheap brand but I also see goodyear tires in there. Thoughts? I've bought tires at Costco for about 25 years and always thought the service was good enough. There was never any one time where I left there feeling it was an "excellent" experience. But because it's Costco and I'm a creature of habit, I kept going back over and over again until today. My wife's car needed tires and Costco didn't have the size we needed. I asked the guy at the counter if they could be ordered, and he kind of shrugged his shoulders as if he didn't know. (They are available on the Costco tire website.) I said screw it and went to a small tire chain down the street that started as a mom and pop. As I sat there listening to the interactions between the employees and customers, it hit me hard that Costco's level of tire service is far inferior. I must have forgotten what it was like not getting tires at Costco. One lady came in with severe alignment issues, so bad it was noticeable to the naked eye. They took one look and told the lady it wouldn't be ethical for them to sell her tires knowing they would wear out in 15,000 miles or less. Then, an elderly man came in with a non-repairable flat, and it was obvious the cost of a new tire would be difficult to afford. They looked around in their stash of used tires and found him a decent one for $40 installed. I get that Costco's business model doesn't cater to the individual customer the same way, but at the same time, Costco doesn't try very hard on the customer service aspect either. When I bought my car, the tires had about 30% tread life left, so I need to get tires soon. I want the aggressive look and long lasting life the Nitto Ridge Grapplers have, but don’t want a ton of road noise. Are they a good option or are there better options out there? I’ll be keeping the stock size of 265/70/17 for now.
