Has anyone here come across people offering “cheaper” ZoomInfo data?
Someone recently reached out to me selling access/data at a much lower price, which obviously sounds tempting but also kind of sketchy. Not sure if this is something people actually use or if it’s a red flag. ZoomInfo and Apollo alternatives for selling to hotels and restaurants in Europe?
Been using Apollo for the past year selling to hotels and restaurants across Europe and the coverage is not best as most venues have zero LinkedIn presence. Maybe 60% of what I pull is usable and half those contacts are outdated. I came to realise that the whole model is the issue because these platforms scrape digital signals and most hospitality businesses I target don't generate any. I've done some research and came across a few alternatives like Cognism, Dealfront and Leadbay. ZoomInfo alternatives for phone number
Been doing a proper benchmark on phone enrichment tools this week and ZoomInfo keeps coming up as the default recommendation, which makes sense given how established they are. That said, our use case is pretty specifically centered around mobile numbers at scale and from what I remember it was never really the core of what they do, more of a feature within a much broader platform. Curious if people have found tools that are more purpose-built for that specific need. Using ZoomInfo + Orum and NO one is answering their phones
I’ve been a long time cold caller and now am more in a managerial role with three reps who make calls daily. We have been using ZoomInfo for about 8 years with lots of success and about three years ago we rolled out Orum to our small team. The pick up rate has slowly gotten worse and worse to the point where last week the three reps on my team made 1800 calls, had 8 conversations total and booked 1 meeting. They’ve been dialing for years and have lots of experience, so I know it’s not a matter of a bad list or lack of skills on the phone. We’ve even had an hour long “best practices” team meeting with an Orum rep to make sure we’re not missing something. Has anyone else been experiencing this? We’re considering going back to the old way of exporting contacts from ZoomInfo and calling from desktop phones. submitted by /u/NYSElyDone to r/salesdevelopment [link] [comments]

Is ZoomInfo still worth the price tag in 2026 or is it overkill?
We are coming up on our renewal, and the quote they sent is making my eyes water. Don't get me wrong, the data is decent, but is it "buy a small house" decent for a team of our size? I have been looking at some of the newer players in the space that use AI to scrape real-time data instead of relying on these massive, static databases that get outdated so quickly. The accuracy seems comparable in my early tests, and the price is a fraction of what we are paying now. I am torn because our whole workflow is built around the current stack, and switching would be a huge pain in the neck. But the ROI is getting harder to justify every year they raise the prices. I feel like we are paying for a lot of features and data points we never even touch. Has anyone here made the jump to a smaller, more specialized intelligence tool lately? Did your bounce rates go up, or was it a smooth transition? I am curious if the big names are just coasting on their reputation at this point while the startups are actually innovating. What is your current data provider and are you actually happy with them? submitted by /u/MetalArchitect to r/sales_intelligence [link] [comments]

Finally saw ZoomInfo in action… Thoughts?
So today was the first time that I actually got a clear vision of Zoom info in action. I’m in the middle of organizing a job and I needed to schedule a courier to pick up a skid at a nearby warehouse in the city. I hopped onto this website of a provider because somebody suggested them. I never filled out a quote form and I never contacted them via email or anything - fuck I didn’t even click on anything on ther landing page. I just popped onto their website, glanced at it for a second and then got distracted by something on the production floor. I came back about 15 minutes later and saw an email from the company’s website that I was on and it was a sales pitch seeing if I needed any help with the service. I called up the contact number and called them out in a friendly kind of comical way in the person admitted that they were using Zoom info. I went through the whole razzmatazz with their sales people and they wanted $25,000 for a year. Way out of my budget right now but seeing this in action did get me curious are any of you out there using something to see people go to your website and contact them via email? This person was able to get my name my personal email address and they saw everything on their Zoom info portal so it was pretty fucking nuts. Anyways just thought I would get some info in 2026. I know there are a ton of posts about this stuff but wanted to start a new thread etc. thank you! submitted by /u/TeashjBoy to r/LeadGeneration [link] [comments]

If you’ve tried Apollo / ZoomInfo / Clay / etc. and still ended up doing manual research — what broke?”
Hey — I’m doing some research and had a question I’m genuinely curious about. I keep seeing a lot of people doing B2B lead research manually (Google searches, LinkedIn, company websites), even though there are plenty of tools out there that are supposed to automate this. If you do it manually: – Why do you prefer that over tools? – Is it accuracy, cost, niche coverage, or something else? – In what cases do tools just not work for you? I’m just trying to understand how people actually handle this work day to day. submitted by /u/JanKuchyna to r/b2bmarketing [link] [comments]

Apollo vs. ZoomInfo vs. Manual Scraping - what is actually working for you guys in 2026?
I'm trying to optimize my lead gen process and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the tools out there. Everyone talks about Apollo, but I hear the data quality has dropped recently. ZoomInfo is obviously too expensive for a solo founder. For those of you doing cold outreach right now: are you sticking with the big platforms, or have you moved to smaller, custom scrapers/tools? Just curious where the best ROI is right now. submitted by /u/Left-Personality3939 to r/AskMarketing [link] [comments]

Affordable alternative to zoominfo because the pricing is absolutely insane for small teams
ZoomInfo pricing is absolutely insane for solo consultants and small teams, like we're talking $15k+ annually for features most people don't even need & the question keeps coming up in sales communities about what actually works without the enterprise price tag, so figured it's worth compiling what people are reporting. Apollo.io: The database seems solid, accuracy reports usually hover around 65-70% on emails from what people share. The free tier is pretty generous but limitations hit fast if anyone's doing serious volume. Pricing starts reasonable at $49/month but scales up quickly. The UI is clean and integrates with most CRMs. Anymailfinder: Gets mentioned occasionally in threads, accuracy reports seem to hover around 70-75%, they only charge for verified emails which saves money but that also means you're paying per email versus a flat subscription, credits roll over monthly and the Chrome extension apparently works for quick lookups though the interface isn't as polished as some of the bigger names. Lusha: Really popular for LinkedIn prospecting, like the Chrome extension gets mentioned constantly. Accuracy seems hit or miss though, maybe 60-65%, credits expire which is frustrating for anyone whose pipeline fluctuates, which starts at $29/month but credits apparently burn faster than expected. Hunter.io: Been around forever, everyone knows it and their database is huge but finding rate has gotten worse lately, the domain search gets praised for finding patterns though. Starts at $49/month, credits roll over which people appreciate. RocketReach : Gets recommended for finding hard-to-reach executives and niche contacts. Accuracy seems decent at 60-70% but the interface feels clunky compared to newer tools. Pricing is all over the place depending on your needs submitted by /u/Sirius-ruby to r/SalesOperations [link] [comments]

Canceled my $15K/year ZoomInfo subscription. Built my own for $50/month.
Been lurking here for a while, figured I'd share something that's been working for me. Last year I paid $14,997 for a ZoomInfo Business plan. Used it to find B2B leads for my consulting work (mostly targeting German companies - dentists, lawyers, small businesses). The problem? Half the emails bounced. Customer support basically said "yeah that happens." I was paying $1,250/month for a 50% accuracy rate. Insane. So in February I got fed up and spent a weekend learning Python. Built a scraper that: - Finds .de domains in my target niches - Extracts emails from their contact pages (Impressum in Germany - legally required contact info) - Validates them before I even send an email Ran it last month on ~2,500 dental practice websites: - Got 4,800+ emails - Bounce rate when I sent: 4.7% (vs the 50% I was getting before) - Cost: $43 in API fees + $12 AWS hosting I'm not trying to sell anything here. Just wanted to share because if you're paying for lead databases and getting garbage results like I was, you might want to look into building your own. anyone else over zoominfo pricing?
just got off a zoominfo call and i’m a bit stunned at the numbers. i get that good data costs money, but 60k feels rough when you’re not enterprise. its fortunate that my partner and i stepped away from giant “all-you-can-eat” databases and using a lighter stack that starts with who’s actually on our site, then build out contacts from there. we switched to an identity and intent tool (datashopper) to resolve a chunk of anonymous visitors, push warm segments into our esp and ads, and keep recent buyers suppressed. not saying it’s magic, just that it felt saner on cost and the lift came from sending fewer, better-targeted messages, not buying a bigger rolodex. curious what others are using that doesn’t require an annual contract the size of a car. submitted by /u/Sonatina13 to r/b2bmarketing [link] [comments]

Best ZoomInfo alternatives for enriching Salesforce accounts?
I work at a large company where ZoomInfo is usually the default choice for anything related to data enrichment. No doubt it’s powerful, but I’m starting to question whether it really fits what we actually need right now. There might be zoominfo alternatives that fits more my needs. My main goal is to enrich our top accounts inside Salesforce with the right info: firmographics, decision-maker contacts, and maybe a bit of buying intent just enough for our sales and KAM teams to go in sharp and well-prepared. I’m not super plugged into sales ops doing this kind of work, so it’s hard to tell if I’m just overthinking or not Curious what you all think. Is ZoomInfo still your go-to for outbound, or have you moved to something that’s more tailored to specific needs. submitted by /u/Affectionate_Cell954 to r/sales [link] [comments]

Zoominfo Search Result
About a month ago, I did a search of my name + my J1 and a result with accurate information about me came up from Zoominfo. Since then, I’ve requested to remove it and they did - very quickly. But the Google result with my name and title of J1 is still there with my what used to be LinkedIn blurb (i hibernated LinkedIn two years ago!!). When clicking on it though, it just goes to a “no results” found page. Today, I looked myself up again and now an even older employer + title shows up. Anyone have any advice on getting these search removed? I’ve tried the “Remove result” option via Google. This is nuts because I don’t even have anything about my employment listed any where. submitted by /u/Kaynivore to r/overemployed [link] [comments]

Calling prospects' cell phones from ZoomInfo feels dirty...
And before you call me a pussy, just know I still do it anyway. I just don't like it. Calling into companies/direct lines is different; that's what it's for. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I just decided to Google myself with J1 next to my name and sure enough all of my info was on the Zoom Info website.
