Fit Check - Bumpsuit Armadillo
My wife received this as a gift (I know folks have some feeling about this one...), and before I buy another carrier, I wanted to check the fit on this! I think he's right in-between sizes - like may outgrow an Omni Embrace in a month or two, but still a bit too small for a Hope and Plum Lark or an Omni 360 w/out insert. I feel like his face is juuuuuuust a tad low, but would love a second opinion. submitted by /u/leskargot to r/babywearing [link] [comments]

Let me de-influence you
Now on the other side of pregnancy with a 6 month old and putting literally so much on Facebook marketplace because we are moving. I realize now I registered for WAY too much and there was so much we barely or used! I was nesting so hard. I also had a NICU baby so that may be part of it - but things not worth it (to us). Bottle warmer - literally put bottle into bowl of hot water / baby now takes cold bottles. Wipe dispenser - you go through so many wipes, it’s just an extra step to put it into the wipe dispenser. Didn’t need the formula maker pro - ended up breast feeding / pumping. Did not need multiple breastfeeding pillows. Did not need multiple carriers - used solly baby a few times early on but use the bumpsuit one daily still. Baby slept fine in a very basic bedside bassinet. Didn’t need so many books so early on. We don’t use a sound machine but also could be because baby spent time in the nicu initially with lots of sounds so she’s a good sleeper. Also with Amazon you can buy something at 8pm and it’s there by 7am, so anything you do need - you can get it very fast! I feel like influencers are fear mongering first time moms into thinking they need it all and you can really do so much with just the necessities. Just my take but hope this helps someone. Are there other baby things to not be influenced to buy I’m not thinking of? Or am I just a new born minimalist?! submitted by /u/seisen01 to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

Why does this sub hate the Bumpsuit Armadillo?
Price tag aside, what’s with the hate on this carrier? Are people just mad about the way it’s marketed or is it truly not ideal for baby’s posture? To that point, would you forward face baby in this carrier or stick to parent facing? The product description says it can do both. EDIT: If anyone comes across this post in the future, wow, the marketing team found this post and it’s kinda gross how they blasted the comments in an effort for further marketing. For those (real people) that have given constructive feedback, I thank you! submitted by /u/PlatinumRespect to r/babywearing [link] [comments]

Not happy with Bumpsuit
I ordered quite a few things from this site. 1dress was too small, the return process is ridiculous. About 12 emails into the process. I can only get a store credit, that's fine, but the amount of time I've spent trying to get a credit for $125.00, my time is worth money too. I do not recommend Bumpsuit. 😕 submitted by /u/RevolutionaryMap6202 to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Bumpsuit alternatives with cotton/modal?
I really really Love the look of the Cindy “bumpsuit” but it’s poly and I try to avoid it. Does anyone have a rec for that same leotard style made out of a cotton blend or modal? Also, if you DO have the “bumpsuit”, were you satisfied with the purchase? I’ve heard mixed reviews about quality and it’s not cheap. submitted by /u/RevolutionaryBug7866 to r/moderatelygranolamoms [link] [comments]

Everyone is so big on Bumpsuit
I see lots of people loving the Bumpsuit, but in my opinion, a skirt made to wear during pregnancy, is much better. You have the bottom and can wear most of the tops you already have. You can wear it with so many combinations of clothes and also it can be worn all year long. What's the hype with the bumpsuit? submitted by /u/RemoteComfortable595 to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

Maternity Clothes
How are the 2 racks at Kohl's and 4 at Target the only maternity clothes irl? I have looked everywhere I can think and the only maternity option are online. They closed all the Motherhood and Pea in a pod type places in my city. I'm a FTM and have a hard enough time finding clothes prepregnancy... let alone when I'm going through body changes that I've never experienced before. It seems also that people that desined what I was trying on yesterday don't know pregnant bodies, or how sewing or fabric work. It was also very obvious that the clothes are patterned for a very small size and just sized up. That does alway work! Plus! Someone tell me why I tried on items that looked not different to something found in the plus size department, but cost 30% more?! Maternity clothes that truly do look like they are made for pregnant people only seem to be online and cost so much. If i'm spending $60 for LEGGINGS, I damn sure want to try them on first. I swear, if I had the seed money I'd start a line of ladies clothes that truly do have something for all body types and stages of life... it's hard enough being a woman without having to spend more money and time on clothing ourselves. Ok... rant over. Thank you for listening. submitted by /u/Lil_Bad_b to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

Anyone tried Bumpsuit?
Their jumpsuits look like a good option considering I’ll be in my third trimester June-August. Has anyone tried or owned Bumpsuit? Their return policies are pretty strict - 14 days, $10 fee plus shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. I don’t want to buy something that others have not liked and I’ll spend $35 returning. submitted by /u/stewarsj to r/pregnant [link] [comments]

Bumpsuit?
Thinking about getting a bumpsuit but I’m wondering if it’s worth it. I also can’t figure out their sizing, so curious how people handled that? I was a 34B pre-pregnancy but I’m now a 36DD so I’m always skeptical when a site says to just order my pre-pregnancy size especially when it seems somewhat low-cut. But it does look like it would be so cozy to lounge in all fall and to layer sweaters off. I’m m looking at the Lucy specifically. Did you get a bump suit? Do you like it? submitted by /u/NCBakes to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

How is the fit on popular maternity brands? (Ingrid & Isabel, Bumpsuit, BLANQI, Amazon, Hatch...)
I'm a FTM and currently 16 weeks pregnant—my clothes are just starting to not fit as well—specifically my pants. I want to purchase some maternity clothing, but shopping for maternity clothes in-person is kind of a thing of the past. Any guidance on how certain maternity brands actually fit? More specifically: My sizing for reference: 5'2" and pre-pregnancy, was a size 10-12 in pants and a L in all legging brands. Also a large in dresses. Ingrid & Isabel at Target - I purchased a few Ingrid & Isabel items at my local Savers thrift. The XL leggings worked for me (but I think a L would be better), and I found a medium sweater that also worked. What about the dresses? Do they run big or small? Should I buy my pre-pregnancy size and hope for the best? Many Target's have maternity in-store, but the selection is limited. The online selection is way better. BLANQI - Are these leggings worth the price? I actually just ordered an XL pair and regret it now (haven't arrived). I saw a pair of XL's at Savers yesterday and tried them on—way too long...I'm am short, but they were comically long and the top part literally went to my neck...no joke. You would have to be at least 5'11". But their website says they run small...they were tight though...but so much extra fabric on top and bottom. Bumpsuit - I want a jumpsuit, they seem cute! How do they fit, though? Tall people only? If you know of another maternity friendly jumpsuit that works for gals under 5'4", please share. Amazon options - What maternity brands on Amazon have ya'll liked? Hatch - I'm curious about Hatch sizing—but not willing to drop the money on them. Would rather thrift them. Hopefully this posts helps others too! I'm trying to get sizing info, as I have a goal not to spend more than $500 on my maternity wardrobe throughout this pregnancy (and not all at once). I don't have the budget to order a bunch of things to just try them on and return them. submitted by /u/Suspicious-Armadillo to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

PSA: Do Not Order from Bumpsuit
They have terrible customer service and will not honor your ability to return items. Apparently anything that is "sale" is final sale even though they don't disclose this to you until you try to return it. There is no indication these items are final sale either on the page of the item, when you put it in your cart, or even in their return policy. I bought 4 different sizes/colors of their "Comfy Nursing Bra" on sale to try on for fit and they won't let me return the items that didn't work out even after contacting their customer service. I'm within their 14 day return window. All of their support garments (e.g. waist trainer) are final sale but you wouldn't know that unless you read the fine print. But at least they do have that in small text at the bottom of the description -- not so for the Comfy Nursing Bra. I'm going to try reporting them as fraud to my CC company. submitted by /u/FizzFeather to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

BUMPSUIT = the worst customer experience ever
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY FROM BUMPSUIT The Bumpsuit has the most atrocious return process and policy I have ever experienced. When I received this product simply by feeling the fabric it was clear that these were not made with quality fabric so I didn’t even try them on, double bagged it prior to placing it in the USPS shipping bag, and immediately returned it so that it was within the 14 day return eligibility window. They have now had the returned product in their possession for over a month, and are claiming that it was damaged and refusing a refund. In addition, they are refusing to provide any further clarification for not issuing the refund until receiving pictures from their warehouse. I am truly horrified by their lack of concern for guest experience. Don’t waste your money buying their products. You can get better quality product, premium customer service, and hassle free returns from other brands like lululemon and Hatch. submitted by /u/Youngmama206 to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Bumpsuit really really not worth (review)
I ordered The Maternity Dress from Bumpsuit in May, and just received it. Took 2 months to get here. So that's already kinda strike 1, but I was willing to overlook long production/shipping time if the quality was worth it. It's not. Paid $120 using a coupon, which automatically makes your order ineligible for returns or exchanges. Huge red flag, idk what I was thinking. The quality of this dress is abysmal. The material is cheap and uncomfortable. The side seams are uneven, so one side of the dress is smaller than the other, which also makes the hem asymmetrical. The inner layer is also improperly stitched at the top of the chest, making it poke out over the top layer. I tried pinning the sides and top to see if I could maybe do some lumpy Frankenstein stitching with my mediocre sewing skills, but it's a bodycon, it's supposed to be tight and smooth. Really regretting buying this dress that I can't return or exchange. I cannot in good conscience sell it to somebody either, it honestly looks so bad. I saw some good reviews and recommendations for this store in this subreddit and other pregnancy forums so maybe I just got a really bad batch or QC was out to lunch when this dress shipped. So here's my bumpsuit review - super not worth the money or the wait time. Save yourself a lot of regret and buy elsewhere. submitted by /u/tabbyling to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Bumpsuit “ The Dress “ ( maternity clothes )
tldr: the Bumpsuit dress is amazing and worth the $135. soft thick stretchy fabric that feels like a dream and it’s super flattering. I’m almost 20 weeks with my first baby and i have been horribly bloated and uncomfortable on and off since about week 8. I still don’t have a real bump i just look super bloated most days. I normally wear a big t shirt and lululemon align leggings which are really soft and stretchy but as i’m getting farther along they are starting to get a little uncomfortable in the waist area on my super bloated days. i tried the Blanqi maternity leggings and HATED them. horrible cheap fabric that flattened my butt, i do not recommend. i’d been eyeing the Bumpsuit “ the dress” for a while but they’re $135, especially now tnay the weather is heating up where i live. The other day i finally caved and bought it. It came in one day and i got free shipping ( used code SHIPFREE ) and ohhhhhh my god let me tell you. This dress is worth every penny. The softest stretchiest most comfortable piece of fabric i’ve ever put on my body. the fabric is super thick so you can’t see anything through it ( even without a bra on ) yet it’s super buttery soft still. the thickness of it is super flattering , can’t see any cellulite or lumpiness through it at all. If you’re on the fence about Bumpsuit - buy it. It’s honestly soooo worth it. I wish they made more colors! submitted by /u/monsterina13 to r/BabyBumps [link] [comments]

Bumpsuit
Anyone out there tried Bumpsuit? I ordered the "Kate" suit and wondering about sizing. I ordered a medium based on the size chart, but it's definitely tight. I feel like that's kinda the whole point and maybe I'm just not used to wearing form fitting clothing. I think a large may just bunch up in weird spots. I manage a clothing store, and maternity clothes have been such a struggle for me. There are so many cute leggings out there, but I can't wear leggings to work. Edit: BTW I'm 19+5 so have a while to go. submitted by /u/springsbluegreen to r/pregnant [link] [comments]
