My Honest Experience With Retatrutide and MT2
I’m 56 and thought I was too old to get back in shape. Years of stress, bad eating, and no energy caught up to me. I spent months researching peptides and got scammed twice before finally finding a legit source. Started Retatrutide, cleaned up my diet, walked daily, and eventually added MT2. Over the next few months the weight dropped fast, my energy came back, and I finally started looking like myself again. Still had to train and stay disciplined, but peptides made the process way easier to stick to. Leanest I’ve been in over 20 years. submitted by /u/ImpossibleReality965 to r/Biohacking [link] [comments]

3 Months on Retatrutide My Honest Journey Starting weight: 87kg
Hey everyone. I've been lurking here for a while and finally feel like it's time to share my own experience. Reading other people's posts genuinely helped me so much when I was starting out so I figured it's time to give back. Quick Stats Start weight: 87kg | Current weight: 70kg | Total lost: 17kg | Time on Reta: 3 months | Starting dose: 2mg | Current dose: 5mg | Source: Grey market, batch tested I decided to try Reta after months of research. I was sitting at 87kg and had been spinning my wheels with diet and exercise alone. I won't pretend I wasn't nervous. This is a triple agonist, it's not something I took lightly, and because I source through the grey market I made a personal rule from day one that I would test every single batch before touching it. No exceptions. I know the grey market route isn't for everyone and I'm not here to push it on anyone. If you have access to a prescribing doctor please use that route. I'm just being transparent about my own experience. Month 1 I started at 2mg deliberately to let my body adjust before pushing higher. Honestly the first few weeks were much smoother than I expected. The nausea stories I had read everywhere never really materialised for me. Around week two the appetite suppression kicked in and it was genuinely eye opening. I wasn't white knuckling my way through meals anymore. The food noise that used to be constant just got quiet. I dropped around 5kg that first month, some of it water weight for sure, but a great start regardless. Month 2 Once I felt settled I moved up to 5mg and this is where things really started to move. The scale was dropping consistently, my clothes were fitting differently and I remember thinking around week six that this was actually working. Lost another 6kg this month. Energy was mostly good although I did have the odd week where I felt more drained than usual which I'll get to at the end. Month 3 By month three everything felt dialled in. Hunger was low, I was eating well, moving my body more and the results kept coming. Another 6kg down bringing my total to 17kg lost in three months. I still find that number hard to believe when I type it out. More than the scale though, my relationship with food has completely changed. I eat when I'm hungry, I stop when I'm full and the obsession that used to follow me around all day is just gone. Starting at 2mg and not rushing the titration was huge for me. I genuinely think this is why my side effects stayed so manageable. Beyond that, hitting my protein every day, staying on top of water, getting some walking in and trying not to live and die by the scale each morning all played a role. The one thing I haven't fully cracked is the low energy weeks. Every few weeks I'll have a stretch of a few days where I just feel flat and drained. I've played around with electrolytes and making sure I'm eating enough but it still sneaks up on me. Has anyone found something that genuinely helps with this? Would love to hear what's worked for others. Also I've been quietly researching GKU and I'm seriously thinking about incorporating it at some point. Has anyone here made that move or run it alongside Reta? Thanks for reading and feel free to ask me anything. This community has been a huge part of my journey and I'm happy to pay it forward. submitted by /u/Fabulous_Row_4218 to r/Biohacking [link] [comments]

1 month on Retatrutide (4mg every 5 days) and I’m down 20lbs… but my balls turned into a goddamn dairy farm 🐄💦
I started this stuff exactly one month ago at 4mg every 5 days because my “eat less, move more” strategy had the success rate of a dad joke at a funeral. Expected: lose some weight, maybe fit into my old jeans. Actual results: 20 fucking pounds gone already. Scale is being nice to me for the first time in years. Energy is weirdly stable, no crazy hunger, and I’m not even rage-quitting food groups. The usual GLP magic is hitting hard. But here’s the plot twist nobody warns you about in the clinical trials: My balls have unionized and gone full milk-cow mode. I’m talking industrial quantities. Daily masturbation (quality control testing, obviously) now produces enough semen to feed a small village. It’s like my prostate got the memo that we’re in a weight-loss competition and decided to overachieve in the fluid department. I’m out here like “whoa buddy, slow down, I only have two hands and one sock.” Is this a known side effect? Are my testes on Retatrutide too? Should I be concerned or start a side hustle selling “premium farm-fresh” on Etsy? Either way, 10/10 would recommend. Losing weight and gaining superpowers in the bedroom (or shower… or car… look I’m busy okay). Anyone else experiencing the Great Semen Surge of 2026 or am I just the chosen one? TL;DR: Retatrutide = -20lbs and +500% output. Science is wild. (Yes this is serious, yes I’m laughing while typing this) submitted by /u/CapitalFuckingMarket to r/Biohacking [link] [comments]

I stopped Retatrutide after hitting my goal. Here is what happened 60 days later.
I hit my goal weight after 5 months on Reta. Decided to stop and see what would happen naturally. Weeks 1-2 off Reta: Food noise stayed quiet. I was genuinely surprised. Weeks 3-4: It started coming back not loud, but there. Cookies at work were suddenly interesting again. Month 2: Food noise is about 50% of what it was before Reta. Better than baseline, worse than on-cycle. Has anyone else tracked their food noise levels after stopping? Curious if this stabilizes or keeps fading. submitted by /u/Brilliant_Peptides_8 to r/Semaglutide [link] [comments]

Retatrutide, This stuff works
I have always been an avid gym goer so working out was never a problem. Cutting weight to get that true lean mass look was a struggle. My buddy told me about retatrutide and hooked me up with this peptide company (great company by the way). I gave it a shot and man the weight fell off. I was still working out 5 days a week like normal but from mid February to the end of April I lost 35 lbs and have looked or felt like this in years. I will continue to do business with that company and take small amounts to help me control my eating. Other than that I am a believer now 😅 submitted by /u/Comfortable-Box-1939 to r/Biohacking [link] [comments]

1.5 months on Retatrutide — 12lbs down, here’s my honest experience so far
I’ve seen a lot of posts asking about Reta timelines so figured I’d share mine since I was literally that person googling “why isn’t Reta working” at week 2 lol. My protocol: Weeks 1-2: 2mg weekly Week 3 onwards: 3mg weekly and stayed there Results: 12lbs down in 6 weeks. Nothing crazy changed with diet or exercise. Reta is doing the work. Side effects — keeping it real: Nausea after meals is genuine. Not enough to ruin your day but it’s there, especially if you eat too fast or eat something heavy. Smaller slower meals helped me a lot. Appetite suppression is insane though. I used to think about food all day. Now I’m literally forgetting to eat and forcing myself to hit protein goals. The food cravings are just… gone. Currently sitting at 3mg and debating whether to push to 4mg since results are still coming. Anyone further along in their protocol have thoughts on this? Drop your questions below, happy to answer :) submitted by /u/FirstWindow4452 to r/BodyHackGuide [link] [comments]

Retatrutide worked, but not how I expected
I think I went into Retatrutide expecting it to feel like Tirz but stronger. Started at 2mg, stayed there for about 6 weeks, then moved to 4mg. Didn’t touch 6mg until around month 4. So I wasn’t rushing it or anything. Started around 204-205 lbs, currently bouncing between 179-181 depending on the day. So it’s clearly doing something. What surprised me is how different it feels long term. First couple months the appetite suppression was obvious. Not extreme, but noticeable. After that it kind of leveled out. I’m not walking around with zero hunger. It’s more like food just doesn’t dominate my day the way it used to. I think I expected it to stay dramatic the whole time. Instead it just turned into… normal life but easier. Not complaining. Just not what I pictured when I started. Anyone else feel like Reta kind of fades into the background after a while? submitted by /u/BountifulGuitar2 to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

Started Retatrutide on December 19th, Here are my results after 6 weeks
I weighed in at 251lbs the first week I started taking Reta, and in 6 weeks dropped 30lbs, I’ve also been stacking this with 50mcg of IGF-1 LR3 daily and 500mg of Test E weekly. I’ve pretty much hit my goal weight but may push my cut to 215lbs. I’ve only been eating when I’m hungry which is only about 1 meal a day, fasting sometimes up to 20 hours plus. I just order another 30mg of Reta, currently on 5mg a week. Has anyone experienced any issues once they’ve stopped completely? submitted by /u/RunTheJ3wels to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

Do's and don'ts of Retatrutide
From personal experience, and what I've read on these forums: Do's -Start at 0.25-0.5mg for the first 3 weeks if you're a first-time user with no experience; not only does it take several weeks for Retatrutide to reach optimal blood serum levels, but it's also terrible when you start at too high a dose. The 1-2mg starting dosage in the trials is way too high a starting dose for many. Better safe, than miserable. -Electrolytes, drink them. You need to stay hydrated, especially during weight loss. -Pin once a week; you can pin multiple times a week if is suits your fancy (many people here have done it successfully), but I don't see the point of complicating things. -Eat protein and consume healthy carbs. Mainly clean foods as much as possible. Chicken, fish, meat, vegetables, white rice, potatoes, clean carbs. Whatever works for you and your stomach. -Consume healthy carbs. You CAN do keto/carnivore (many here have done it while on reta), however it's unadvisable due to potential ketoacidosis chances whilst on Reta and something regarding glucagon that i'm too dumb to understand; test your blood ketones religiously if you're going to go down this route. -Train. Whether it's lifting weights, sports, even as simple as getting some steps in. Movement is good for you. You'll still lose weight if you don't move (Reta is that good), however you want to keep your body alive and activated. Don'ts -Spicy food (especially on dosing day); there's a good chance your stomach will hate you and you'll shit yourself. I've been there, it's not great. -Greasy food/fast food. Same results as spicy for me. Keep it clean if you can. -Alcohol. You can drink, don't get me wrong. What's life without a little fun, just be cautious around beer. It's super filling, and makes food hard to get down after a couple pints. Food calories > Alcohol calories :D -Overdose. I've seen too many posts of people taking an accidental wrong dose on their first try. Find a peptide calculator online, and take your time. An extra 10 minutes can save you a world of hurt. ---- Everything here is from personal and anecdotal experience. There's more than one way to eat a pie, so if you did it differently, that's cool. Hope this helps you! submitted by /u/forgotten_brew to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

My boyfriend is considering Retatrutide but i want to ask for insight first
He’s 190lb and 5’8”. He’s been researching it and is wanting to try it because he has issues with binge eating and losing weight. Im just unsure about him getting on it because he hasn’t discussed Reta with anyone yet like a doctor or even asked people with experience. Pictures are attached, these were taken first thing in the morning, haven’t eaten anything. And his PCP, psychiatrist, and therapist dont have a solution for his binge eating. And they said it’s due to trauma most likely. What do you suggest and do you think he should try it out? submitted by /u/thwowawaw69 to r/BodyHackGuide [link] [comments]

My insane 4 week Retatrutide transformation
In only four weeks.. I lost four weeks.. This post is sarcastic. This is to make a little fun of the fake accounts that post crazy 4 week transformations claiming it was all due to Reta. Their goal is to sell you stuff, most of the time it's not even them in the photos. I have made this to show you that you should not be discouraged if you are on a fat loss journey and understand that it can take some time. Do not get discouraged by fake posts that people make and don't outright trust anything on the internet, trust me their sole goal is to get messaged by people that are new here asking for a source. Reta Almost Ruined My Life (for weight loss)
Maybe this drug should be for actual diabetics and not used for weight loss? Here’s why… I was on for 8 weeks doing a “mini cut.” The goal was to shed 16-20lbs of fat by losing 2lbs to 2.5lbs per week. I shed 17lbs in the end. Mission accomplished. 4 weeks later when I got my blood work done, I was pre-diabetic. 12 weeks prior (and before starting Reta) my A1C was 5.4% I started researching. Basically, Reta works so well that it changes how your pancreas responds to calories when you come off. Basically, your body has no clue how to process carbs when that drug is removed. “Training it” takes extraordinary time and effort. You can resume a normal diet and eat at maintenance and get fat… because virtually all sugar you eat converts to fat after sitting in your bloodstrea, unable to be cleared by the insulin. I had it bad. But my wife was even worse. Crushed her weight loss goal and hasn’t seen a fasted glucose below 100 in quite some time. My A1C after Reta was 5.8. Here’s was 6.0. SOLUTIONS I was on Mounjaro though normal doc, too expensive and did the Reta thing. Told doc I used Tirz as a compounding pharmacy and his solution was to subscribe me Mounjaro “to stabilize blood sugar while I made life style adjustments.” So, I did my own thing. Not gonna get into that because I don’t want to be seen as promoting unsupervised medical interventions. The point is… these GLP-1s are a trap for those who do not have diabetes. You get on. You get off. You gain the weight back. Sprint towards being actual diabetic. submitted by /u/GiantCoccyx to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

Why do people prefer Tirzepatide over Retatrutide?
I’ve been digging into both GLP-1/GIP options lately and noticed that most people still talk about Tirzepatide (Mounjaro/compounded “Tirze”) while Retatrutide (“Reta”) doesn’t get as much traction in the real world yet. From what I understand: • Tirzepatide is more established, FDA-approved, with tons of clinical data and widespread use. • Retatrutide is newer, still in trials, and shows even more promising weight-loss potential (triple agonist vs dual). • Access, cost, and tolerability might also play a role. So my question is: for those of you who’ve researched or even tried both, why do you think Tirzepatide is preferred right now? Is it just availability/approval status, or do people genuinely feel better on Tirze vs Reta? submitted by /u/Jumpy-Acanthisitta46 to r/Retatrutide [link] [comments]

💉 Full Retatrutide (RETA) Guide
Hey guys I’ve been seeing a ton of posts lately of people asking how do you actually use Retatrutide? So let’s make this STOOOPIDD SIMPLE 🔬 What is Retatrutide? Retatrutide is a GLP-1/GIP/Glucagon triple agonist. Semaglutide = hits GLP-1 only Tirzepatide = GLP-1 + GIP Retatrutide = GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon In plain English: GLP-1 = kills appetite GIP = helps you handle carbs / blood sugar Glucagon = turns on your fat-burning switch That glucagon part is the reason RETA feels different. It tells your body to use fat for energy instead of just storing it. That’s why people start leaning out once they ramp the dose, your metabolism is literally running hotter in the background. 🧪 What You’ll Need Retatrutide vial or here Bacteriostatic water 29g 1cc insulin syringes (Amazon) Alcohol wipes (or just rubbing alcohol + cotton pad) Peptide calculator 🧾 Reconstitution (Mixing It) Your vial shows up as powder. Not a scam. A lot of people DM and make posts talking about: “it’s empty and Dry.” “Why’s it powder?” “Did I get played?” The answer guys is that it comes lyophilized (freeze-dried) so it doesn’t go bad during shipping. If they shipped it pre-mixed, it’d be useless by the time you opened it. How to mix it: Pop the cap off the vial → wipe the top with alcohol. Pull 100 units (1mL) of bac water into your syringe. Pro move: pull 100 units of air first, push that into your bac water vial, then draw out the liquid. Keeps the vacuum balanced. Slowly push the water into the RETA vial. Don’t shake like you’re making a margarita. Just swirl it gently or roll it in your palms. Powder should dissolve in a few minutes. ⚠️ Do not drink it. Do not eat it. Do not snort it. SubQ injections only. 📅 Dosing Protocol Week Dose Notes 1 1mg once weekly Start low. Even 0.5mg if you’re lighter. 2 2mg weekly Step it up. 3 3mg weekly Appetite usually crushed here. 4 4mg weekly Metabolism really kicks on. 5 5mg if plateau (wait 10 days) Don’t rush up too quick. 6 6mg max Most people don’t need more. People who jump straight to 2–3mg their first shot usually regret it. Nausea city. Start small. 🏃 Cardio + Diet = Results Cardio: StairMaster, 30 minutes. Doesn’t have to be sprinting, just keep the sweat and heart rate up. Diet: Protein is king. Track protein grams, not every calorie. Carb cycling works well. Stack tip: RETA + 5mg SLU-PP-332 = next-level fat loss. ❓ FAQ Why powder? Freeze-dried so it doesn’t degrade. Everyone thinks they got scammed the first time. How long until it works? Appetite → same day Fat burning → around week 3–4 Plateaus → up the dose slowly Will I gain it all back? Only if you eat like trash when you stop. RETA isn’t a pass for bad diet. ⚠️ Final Notes ✔ Triple-pathway = appetite + blood sugar + fat burn ✔ Don’t skip cardio and protein ✔ Go slow on the dosing, avoid nuking yourself with nausea Use code REDDIT for discounts on some vendors. Always for research purposes only. Check the Community Vetted List for quality sources. submitted by /u/CoachLexi to r/BodyHackGuide [link] [comments]

Retatrutide clinical trial done! Now onto Zep!
Figured this group would appreciate this! After 80 weeks I am finished with my retatrutide clinical trial. I was in the Triumph 1 trial which was for pure obesity. I entered the trial in Sept 2023 and now in May 2025 it's over. It was absolutely a life altering experience. My starting BMI was 34.7 and it's now 23.2!!! I've lost 74 lbs. From 240lbs to 166lbs! Things that retatrutide did for me: Lowered my total cholesterol by 50% Lowered my LDL cholesterol 55% Lowered my triglycerides and VLDL by 75% These are crazy drops in lipids! Increased my GFR(measure of kidney function) by about 20% This GFR increase is extra wild as it suggests retatrutide helps preserve and increases kidney function. Lowered my uric acid level by about 30% which in theory reduce my risk of gout. Other things it's done for: Had to resize my wedding ring From XL shirts to medium From size 40 pants to size 34 pants My asthma is gone. My eczema is gone. My fatty liver disease is gone. Chronic Achilles tendonitis also gone! My running speed has increased by 1 minute per mile(used to run 9 minutes miles, now run 7:45-8 minute miles) Lowered my blood pressure from borderline hypertension to 105-110/70 consistently. I could probably go on but it's literally fixed everything that was wrong with me and even some things that weren't! And now I get to join Team Tirz for maintenance!! My initial goal is 5mg every 10 days and hoping that's enough to maintain my goals and loss while keeping the food noise at bay. Excited to make it this far! If you have any questions about Reta feel free to ask. And before anyone asks I will absolutely switch back to Reta once it's approved. It is incredible in ways I can't describe and even if I have to pay out of pocket I will get back on it. submitted by /u/RunningFNP to r/Zepbound [link] [comments]
