My partner and I were scrolling through Vinted when I came across this listing. Initially I scrolled through the photos and scrolled away but something in the back of my mind kept telling me to go back for a closer look. I'm glad I did because there's a few details that stand out to me as inconsistent and lead me to believe the image is either AI or AI enhanced. 1) the feet stance is different between the person and the reflection 2) the bed is not reflected in the mirror 3) the teddy bear on the bed seems to be... Morphing? I can't even describe it but I can't really make out a proper teddy bear shape out of it. 4) my partner also points out the reflection angle isn't quite right - they think the reflection angle is inconsistent with how it should be based on the mirror positioning. Both me and my partner are not 100% sure though so I thought I'd pop it in here. I will point out the other two photos were of the dress on the ground and the account has multiple other dresses in the same/similar pose and composition. They also don't have a single review so I'm unsure whether they're a new account or just haven't sold a single thing. To me, Vinted is a more sustainable way of buying, right? It keeps clothes out of landfill and you can get some gems for decently cheap, helps people declutter and all round is a good, pretty Green solution to spending. HOWEVER, something always rubs me the wrong way about sellers including “free gifts“ with their items. What I bought was a book for my 2 year old niece. It was clearly second hand, why would you include this? Am I being a bit of a downer? Overreacting a bit? I just think, ESPECIALLY with “gifts” like the picture above, it is just a bit of plastic that’ll likely be thrown away. Then you’ve got plastic waste again. I understand it’s with good intentions, just… I don’t like it lmao. IDK maybe I’m just being a grump but it always just rubs me the wrong way. EDIT: Depends on the gift of course! If it's them just shifting their clutter and include an item related to the one you bought, awesome, fine, good even. But if it's just their rubbish, or something bought in bulk clearly just to be included, unrelated to the item you bought, then nah. Really REALLY not on. I left them a 4* review as I don't really think it's worth starting wars over lmao, but I did say in the review to be careful about including "free gifts" like this as it very much is harmful to the environment. BUT that I understand it was in good faith...
