Anua Niacinamide 10% + 4% TXA turning brown..?
So I had bought this anua serum a couple months ago off TikTok shop from the verified brand, and it came pink, but now (after a couple months), it’s turned brown. Is it still safe to use? Is it effective? It says the expiration is 2027. submitted by /u/PromiseGlad4079 to r/SkincareAddicts [link] [comments]

Niacinamide TXA serum
I've been using Anua Niacinamide TXA serum for a couple of weeks and I'm not a fan of the texture. It makes my skin look oily and shiny, and I have dry, sensitive skin. I think it'd be better for winter than summer. I've also tried Skin1004 Brightening Ampoule, and I like that one more because of its texture and results. I want to try something with a higher Niacinamide and TXA percentage than the Skin1004 one. Any suggestions for what would work for my skin type in the summer? submitted by /u/repulsive_behaviorr to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Which niacinamide serum should I get?
I’ve used Tree of life 5% niacinamide serum for years, but the texture is too heavy and I’m still oily at the end of the day. Any luck with Anua Niacinamide 10 + TXA 4 Serum.
I’ve got a stubborn PIH mark on my forehead and I’ve been using the Cerave resurfacing retinol to help fade it but have had no success. I’ve been doing some research about fading PIH and tranexamic acid seems to come up a lot. And in particular the ANUA TXA serum. Was wondering if anyone has actually had success toads dark spots with this product. Mainly want to hear from melanated individuals. Also should I be pairing it with azelaic acid at night? Thanks. submitted by /u/mental555 to r/Blackskincare [link] [comments]

Anua 10+ serum
Hey Reddit! I’ve been using the Anua 10+ serum for 3-4 weeks now. I started really gradually and am now using a couple of drops every evening. The reason I started using is because of persistent redness on my nose and cheeks. You can seen from the photo but there is two spots that have appeared and don’t seem to be shifting? Shall I keep persisting with it or after 4 weeks should I have seen some improvement? My current routine: Morning: swimming pool toner, Byoma brightening serum and cetaphil daily hydrating moisturiser Evening: aveeno oat cleanser, swimming pool toner, Anua 10+ serum and cetaphil daily hydrating moisturiser. If anyone could give me advice on the Anua serum and any tweaks to my routine I would be so greatful. Especially as I’m almost out of moisturiser and toner… Thank you! [Product Question] Anua Niacinamide 10% and TX serum for PIE?
Ive thankfully cleared my skin from acne, but now im suffering from PIE since I was really careless in the beginning. I’ve been using Azelaic Acid for about ~3-4 months, I used to use it twice a day but I’ve switched to AM only now because it felt like I was overdoing it and wasting the product. My PM routine is currently hydration-only, but I was thinking of adding the Anua 10% niacinamide and tranexamic acid serum to further help with the healing. Has anyone ever used the serum for this purpose? Is it effective or should I use another product (recommend one please )? My routine is as follows: AM: 1. Skin1004 Centella Ampoule Foam 2. Skin1004 Centella Toning Toner 3. Azelaic acid 15% cream 4. Purito Seoul oat in gel 5. Korean SPF50 sunscreen PM: Same cleanser and toner Skin1004 Centella Asiatica Ampoule Moisturiser same as AM. ^ I also used to use TO glycolic acid 7% twice a week, but recently it irritated my barrier so I’m taking a break from it for a bit (had a mini heart attack because my PIE and its surroundings became really red and itchy, but thankfully faded back to normal after a few hours) submitted by /u/MaxYTpro to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

anua pdrn serum vs torriden dive in
hey everyone, i’m on the market for a hyaluronic acid since i used to use the ordrinary’s ages ago and found it didn’t work, but then recently learned that it’s because hyaluronic acid must be used on wet skin. so i wanna give it another go since i sometimes find my skin a bit dehydrated. for reference, i have combination skin that looks pretty good but i really suck at drinking water and i sometimes have to use makeup for 12+ hours a day because of my job. so by the end of the day my skin can feel really dull, dry, and flat. so i need something that really plumps my skin, locks in hydration, and maybe refreshes it after a long day of wearing makeup. i promise i’ll also start drinking more water haha anyway, i’ve been doing a bit of research and i’m now torn between trying the torriden dive in serum or the anu pdrn serum. i’m interested in the skin1004 blue serum as well but people say it’s better for calming the skin, which i don’t think i really need. does anyone have any advice on which one to get? or any other improvements i can make on my skin? right now this is my routine: - skin1004 madagascar cleanser - seoul1988 retinal - laneige cream skin refiner - glow recipe niacinamide dew drops - mixsoon bean essence - illiyoon ceramide concentrate cream thank you so much in advance!! submitted by /u/star_xephyr14 to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Skincare I've used, loved, and showed results
Hello! I wanted to share some products I have used in the last few years that have helped improve my skin texture, acne scars, and oily skin. For context, I grew up with clear skin but I started to have mild acne since junior high. I've never learned how to use skincare properly when I was younger so I've been teaching myself through the help of the internet/Youtube. If you are ever feeling lost or hopeless that your skin is not improving, keep trying and you will see results! Cleansing Oils/Foam Cleansers/Clay Masks Learning how to double cleanse properly was a big game changer. Please learn how to double cleanse properly because I didn't know how to use cleansing oils so I broke out heavily. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil = Affordable and beginner friendly. I think I went through like 10+ bottles already haha. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tea-Trica BHA Foam = This foam cleanser is great. Out of the SKIN1004 foam cleansers I tried, this one is the best. It has BHA which can help clean out your pores and the BHA is light enough that your skin won't react either. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Cleansing Gel Foam = One of the best things I did for my skin is not completely washing my face in the morning. I rinse my face now or use a gel cleanser like this one. Gel cleansers are gentle and it won't strip the good oils from your face. This is one is very affordable too and lasts you for a long time! Toners I don't really use toners as much as I used to. Unless they target a specific skin concern, there's really no need to use a toner. Most of the time they're just expensive water lol. If you want to use a toner in your routine to help better absorb other products, here are some ones I liked. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule = I know this is an ampoule but it's so lightweight that I consider this more of a toner. I went through bottles of these and it really helps calm the redness of my skin. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Poremizing Fresh Ampoule = I wanted to hate this product but it really does work lol. Similar to the regular ampoule but helps minimize the appearance of your pores. Serums This is where you need to SPLURGE. Serums are what going to help you target your specific skin concerns. Please make sure to NOT use too many active products at the same time. Do your research on which ingredients you shouldn't mix or use at the same time together. - Anua Niacinamide 10% TXA 4% Serum - The hype is real with this one. It helped a lot with my acne marks, specifically with post-inflammatory erythema (PIE). - Paula's Choice 10% Azelaic Acid Booster - Omg I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It's definitely on the pricer end but it was worth every penny. If you feel a little scared using the $40 version, what I did is that I purchased the travel size one first (~$13) to make sure if it was compatible with my skin. Azelaic acid is a game changer. This product also contains salicylic acid which is going to help clean your pores and licorice to help with redness. Azelaic acid is hard to formulate so make sure to get serums with azelaic acid that's at least 10% to see results. - Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Dark Spot Care Serum - Great beginner friendly serum. I think I've used like 5-10 bottles lol. It's also on the cheaper end so definitely recommend it if you want something budget friendly. - Torriden DIVE IN 5D Hyaluronic Acid Ultra Hydrating Serum - Just started using this serum and I think it's great so far. I have oily DEHYDRATED skin so I've been wanting to make my skin more hydrated/plump. Also great to use before makeup! - Dr.Althea Vitamin C Boosting Serum - Another great vitamin C serum! This is on the more expensive end. If you think the concentration of this one is too strong, there's also a more gentle version of it (it's the green bottle one). Moisturizer I'm sure you heard of this PLENTY OF TIME BUT PLEASE MOISTURIZE EVEN IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN. - Dr Althea 345 Relief Cream = One of my top moisturizers. It's pricey but effective. It helped a lot with clearing my acne marks and smoothing out my textured skin. One thing to note is that some people don't like the number of ingredients in this product so be cautious about using this if you have very sensitive skin. - innisfree Retinol Cica Barrier Cream = Awesome beginner retinol. It's also a moisturizer too! It's very lightweight and the concentration of retinol is low so you can use this both morning and night (which is what I did). It does take a week or two to see the change but it definitely works. If you're looking for a beginner friendly retinol, I highly recommend this one. - ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream = A holy grail for korean skincare. It contains ceramides to help repair your skin. I would recommend this for dry skin types. I only used this one in the winter when the weather is super dry and cold as an oily skin person. - iUNIK Beta Glucan Daily Moisture Cream = I've used this for the last month and it's great! Highly recommend. I think for the oily skin people, I would use this in cooler/colder weather so not a great choice for the summer. Sunscreen I don't think I need to elaborate on the importance of sunscreen here. WEAR THE SUNSCREEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DEVELOP SKIN CANCER !!! - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum = Big favorite of mine. Super affordable. SKIN1004 is an affordable and vegan brand that my sisters and I love. Highly recommend buying their products if you're on a budget. Texture is lightweight and honestly doesn't feel like your typical sunscreens. My uncle who hates the feeling of sunscreen loves this product. - Goodal Heartleaf Calming Moisture Sun Cream = Another lightweight feeling sunscreen I love. This is a chemical sunscreen if you're into them. It contains heartleaf to help calm down redness and inflammation. It's a bit more expensive but relatively affordable. - Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics = First Korean sunscreen I've ever used. Loved this product. It didn't even feel like a sunscreen at all. Helped a lot clearing my skin during high school. Great for oily prone skin! Bonus section: Skincare that really didn't work for me or I thought wasn't worth buying. - SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule = Compared to the ANUA TXA serum, this one is a less potent version of it (2% TXA). My sister liked it but I think it wasn't strong enough for my skin. I would maybe recommend this if you want to try out TXA for the first time. - BRING GREEN ZINC TECA Serum = I heard to many good things about this product, but honestly it didn't do that much for my skin. Instead of tossing this, I've been using it on my body lol (good tip on getting your money's worth on products that didn't work for your skin). - Numbuzin No.4 Hydrating Glow Mineral Toner = Got this as a gift and honestly it's just a regular toner, nothing special. It is on the thicker side so might be good to use in the fall/winter. - SKIN1004 Hyalu-CICA Brightening Toner = Again nothing special. This was SUPER light weight and help like pricey water lol. - Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Ampoule Foam = Basic foam cleanser. Again, affordable and beginner friendly! Nothing too special. I would go for the Tea-trica one I mentioned before. submitted by /u/milkissun to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Thinking of Buying ANUA Niacinamide Tx serum? Read This First!
So I’ve been using this serum for about 6 months now and wanted to share my experience:) It does work for fading PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation) and overall brightening. But honestly it’s a bit harsh. The 10% niacinamide can be irritating, especially if you have sensitive skin. It’s also not fungal acne safe. I noticed every time I applied it on my forehead, it triggered itching and little bumps. I tested it multiple times even today and had the same reaction on forehead and it triggered my FA. On my cheeks, however, it was fine and gave me good results. Verdict: If you’re thinking of buying this, just keep in mind it’s potent but not gentle. Might be worth it if your skin can tolerate strong formulas, but skip it if you’re sensitive or prone to fungal acne🫠 submitted by /u/Obvious_baddie to r/PakistaniSkincare [link] [comments]

Is my Anua serum fake?
So I’ve been using the left most bottle and it’s almost finished so I ordered the bottle on the right (with the new packaging). I realized that when I opened the new bottle to take a whif, that I couldn’t smell anything but I’ve been using the bottle on the left for a few months and it has a fragrance like cough mixture (as close as I can describe it). Googling the serum I find out that it’s supposed to be fragrance-free so the new bottle should be legit. So that means I’ve been putting fake stuff on my face the past couple of months?? Both were purchased via online retailers that had good reviews so I never suspected it could be fake till now submitted by /u/Gymrat76 to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Honest reviews only! Anua Azelaic Acid 10
I've been watching Anua Azelaic Acid Serum get praised a lot on tiktok but most of it are usually paid partnerships, some don't make it obvious but it is. Now, I'm really wondering if this can actually help me with my PIE and acne? If you have any experience with this product, negative or positive, please share it. Update! Bought it again for the second time and I use it daily now. When it was my first time, I started using it only for every other day so my skin can adjust. It really does help with my redness and also I’ve been getting less whiteheads when I wake up and generally less pimples also idk but I think those white stuff on the side of my nose or sebaceous filaments got reduced! I still have acne marks because obviously it takes some time for it to disappear but my skin texture is much more smoother now (not perfect, but still better than before) submitted by /u/mywifi_isbad to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

Review Anua 10% niacinamide serum
Dosclaimer: I am not affiliated with the brand Anua in any way. I was not paid for a review or a promotion of this product. I purchased the product with my own money. I also do not have a signifficant online presence so I'm doing this in hopes of answering some questions for those who have them. For context, I've had nasty hormonal breakouts for years and they left some visible hyperpigmentation and texturing on my face that I just could not get rid of. I also have sensitive skin so retinols and vitamin c were out of the question, they made my face worse. Long story short: I love this stuff. I've been using it for around 3-4 weeks and I'm noticing a signifficant difference in my skin texture and discoloration. I never expect a product to actually work within 2 weeks (as many of them claim). Normally it takes the skin about 30 days to get used to and start reacting to a product so that's my benchmark regardless of what the product claims. I can say that this product meets the benchmark (and even exceeds a bit). I started noticing some real differences in my skin about a week or 2 ago so that really gives a window of about 2-3 weeks for the product to be effective which i was very surprised about. I use it in the morning right after washing and drying my face without applying toner beforehand and I recommend using it this way. It penetrates the skin better and has a higher chance of acting accordingly. Effects i've noticed: significant reduction in hyperpigmentation from acne scarring, reduction in texture from acne scarring, pore minimization, skin tightening, glowy skin. I've tried a bunch of serums for hyperpigmentation before this one and, at worst, they destroyed my skin barrier and broke me out or, at best, did nothing. This has honestly been a god sent and I fully recommend the product. It hasn't reacted badly with any of the products I use (granted I have a very minimal routine) and it hasn't irritated my face at all. Some things to keep in mind: this has 10% niacinamide and 4% tranexamic acid so it might be irritating to some skin types that are more sensitive. Niacinamide is recommended in percentages of around 5% to be effective so this might a bit much for some. It also contains 2% Arbutin which inhibits the enzyme necessary for melaning production which essentially means that it actively whitens your skin. I noticed this when i had to stop using my summer shade of foundation AFTER i started using this serum. I tan extremely easily and i get very dark. My tan also lasts around 7-8 months, but now i had to start using my winter shade in november when normally i could start using it around January or so. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just another thing i noticed with this product. I hope this helps anyone questioning the tiktok reviews (i did too, this was a huge leap of faith for me). submitted by /u/GoldieJoan to r/KoreanBeauty [link] [comments]
