Tried this Arc’teryx Alpha SV recently and I’m honestly impressed for the price. Material feels solid and has that proper technical jacket feel. Waterproofing is great, tested it in wet/snowy conditions and it holds up well. Also blocks wind nicely, especially with layering underneath. Fit is size L. I’m 177 cm / 72 kg and it fits perfect, you can check the photos for reference. Plenty of adjustments (hood, waist, cuffs) so you can dial in the fit. Also tried it with ski goggles and sunglasses and fits perfectly with both. Shipping was fast, took around 8 days which is quicker than most of my orders. Came with tags and everything. For around $50, it’s honestly better than I expected. I am British by birth but have been in NZ for twenty years, I am also looking to divest myself from American products and support the countries I share values with, particularly the EU. I'm a keen Backcountry snowboarder and had been buying my gear from mostly US back country brands. Getting some gear upgrades this year had me doing the research on the net and came across Picture. They share an eco / recycling manifesto like Patagonia, and are French owned, fashion and tech gear. Just finished a big ski trip and wanted to shout out all the Picture gear I bought. Very impressed with its performance, fit, look and its resilience to both moisture and temperature. Excellent gear. I'll be back for more as I need it, and will replace my US gear probably earlier than needed. Excellent stuff, highly recommended. Skiing with this fake Arcteryx was no problem. after comparing the best Arcteryx sellers, DreamRemake seemed to be the best. We ordered via WhatsApp. Communication was good and fast. Always size up! I am 182cm and 70kg and ordered L for reference. (left in the first photo) Model: Beta AR After a whole day of skiing the jacket held me dry and save from winds. Just a quick review for today, I have other large packages arriving soon. Regarding the shipping, I used GTBuy, it arrived in 11 days, and I paid €18 for 1.2kg to France 🇫🇷🥖 – not bad for such a small package. As for the Arc'teryx jacket, I wasn't familiar with the model before; I stumbled across it on a Yupoo, so I bought it. It's thick enough for mid-season wear and more than warm enough for winter. Hey yall. some people asking me for a review of this arc, so here a quickly review: Material: Really good, comfy, zippers are YKK, embroidered is good, and the gore-tex waterproof is functional, I left water on the jacket for about 5 minutes, and it didn't get through the zipper or the embroidery. About the breathable, they not bad, not suffocating. The wrist velcro is of great quality and holds well. Fit: I'd say they're straight, so runs tts or size up for loose fit, by the size chart I grabbed size S for an tighter fit. Hi, I'm presenting 4 Arc'teryx jackets from "Dream Remake". I bought them for €50 each, which totals €200. Size: They fit perfectly and are very well tailored not too big, not too small. If they feel a bit loose around the waist, you can always tighten them using the elastic cords at the waist, the hood, and the Velcro straps on the sleeves. Weight: They are very lightweight and comfortable you barely feel them when worn. Colors and Models: I picked 4 colors: blue (BETA LT), white (ALPHA SV), black (2025 BETA SL), and red (ALPHA SV). Embroidery: The embroidery is flawless nothing to complain about. The seller told me he reworked the embroidery on all his models. Material: The material is just like the original it feels perfect and the jacket is completely waterproof. Rating: I give it a 10/10. It’s perfect. I honestly don’t know how it could be better. Well, I wanna start off by saying that if you really love a product supporting the brand/manufacturer is important. But since we are on a replica sub and we all here to save money, I don't wanna sound like I'm some virtue signaler lol. I was expecting nothing when I bought rep arcteryx, but SPOILER: I am pleasantly surprised. Is it waterproof or just water repellent? To test this I left water on top of the jacket for idk 20-30 if not more minutes, and water did not penetrate through at all. Safe so say that it's not just a cheap water repellent spray, the fabric itself is genuinely waterproof... water just slides off. If you use a water repllent spray on like a windbreaker it's gonna do the same, but if you let the water sit on it for a few seconds, maybe minutes it will actually go through or get it wet. I've included pictures. Does the zipper actually stay closed, is it smooth? Answer is yes and yes. Quality zippers, also no gaps or anything that would let water through. Arc'teryx logo, is it an embroidery ro just a glued log on top? Just like the real brand, it's an embroidery. I've seen low quality batches around that did not have embroidery. Spelling mistakes on necktag area? Not really. But I still think you should ask your shipping agent to take pics. In the end human error can happen so... Better safe than sorry. Is the inside pocket there or magically disappeared like on many other budget batches? This batch does indeed have the ARC inside pocket. And it's functional. I've attached pictures. Final and most important question: Is it breathable? Answer is YES, it is indeed breathable. Goretex is a patented fabric, but somehow China did it. It might actually not be rocket science and it was just OP marketing from all the big brand that use goretex... How did I test brathability? Used only when a few times when traveling to colder climates. Wore it while disc golfing in New Jersey and noticed the fabric failing afterwards. The fabric could only have been damaged by a sling bag carrying 6 discs, and customer service claims this is normal wear and tear. They offered me only 40% of its current value ($100), which I turned down. I do not believe I will be buying any more of Arc'teryx products again in the future (I own several). I want to put this out there to spread the word about Arc'teryx because I'm petty and vengeful. I am a former employee that worked on the design team, and the company has been taken over by former Lululemon execs who don't care about the legacy of the brand at all. They have completely drained the company of any semblance of its culture, and have turned it into a streamlined, corporate entity / brand that they're going to milk as long as they possibly can. Their strategy is now identical to Lululemon's ; sell the lowest quality / cheapest clothing, call it technical, and sell it for top dollar. They are riding on the curtails of the brand's legacy, but I am asking you all to not be fooled by this; it's no longer 'Arc'teryx' and it's very much Amer Sports. The quality of the gear has deteriorated exponentially in the past several years, and some of it is entering Walmart-quality territory (reference Kyanite line as the most egregious offender). The exception(s) to the rule are the Alpha SV, harnesses, and LEAF (not available to you or me) which are still produced at Arc One in BC. Take your money elsewhere, please.
