Why do ya’ll even shop here?
Never ever bought a single thing from Aritzia in my 31 years of life. I’ll tell you why I don’t shop here and it’s actually pretty funny and I don’t mind if you laugh but really my villain origin story - many of my elementary school bullies (snooty rich white kids) wore Aritzia so I had big time brand trauma stemming back to childhood and quickly clocked a silly bullshit social hierarchy the brand tried to sell and it did not align with my spirit. Things did not get better about a decade ago when I went into the store (for the first time) with my sister who was looking to return a pair of leggings she bought literally the day before. I guess while she was trying them on in the store she didn’t realize there was a hole in the leggings she purchased. They basically told her to eat shit and that they can’t do anything for her given that they can’t be sure she didn’t create the hole herself (are you kidding me? lol) But everyday I see posts on tik tok of a new person absolutely sobbing their eyes out after feeling humiliated at this store. Or further complaints about the staff treatment towards shoppers, the change rooms, etc. So why do YOU still shop there? I see so many posts about “how can we fix the fitting room situation, it sucks, the workers are mean” and yet you all still spend money there….? I’ll tell you how brands shape up - they start changing things when they’re losing money. Start withholding your spending at Aritzia (and do it in large numbers/boycott) and watch how fast they change it. This post is getting flagged as a rant and it’ll be locked but Aritzia may your brand days be soon over as much as you try to silence me :) submitted by /u/No_Bookkeeper_9968 to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

aritzia fitting room is the most humiliating experience ever
so who’s the genius that thought having a communal fitting room is a good idea ? what makes u think i want every bitch’s boyfriend in the middle of the fucking fitting room sitting there while i’m trying shit on and i have to come out of the room bc there’s no fucking mirror inside the rooms???? why are there no mirrors inside ? why am i forced to come outside in front of EVERYONE so they can all also watch me as i try shit on? why is it that when i come out 5 fucking dudes look up at me immediately for a second before looking away? what is this shit? what if i come out and realize the dress im trying on is too short ? well oopsie some girls bf just saw my ass!!! what if i’m trying on a top and when i come out to see it in the mirror i realize u can see my boobs through the shirt ? oh some girls dad also saw them too! fuckass stupid ass store most uncomfortable and garbage experience of my life, and not only that, there’s always 5 other ppl trying to get in front of the mirror too. as a diehard Aritzia shopper who has spend thousands of dollars on their clothes, this shit made me hate the whole mf company cus of that absolutely humiliating experience. Aritzia was the first store i went into as soon as i got to the mall and ts genuinely ruined my whole day i dont even wanna continue shopping anymore, i genuinely feel so deeply uncomfortable rn. fuck Aritzia and fuck whoever designed that fuckass fitting room. submitted by /u/Professional-Pie3794 to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

Who is on the creative team Aritzia and how do we overthrow them?
Im just going to come out and say it: the last 3 spring/summer drops are ugly, lacklustre and cheap-looking!! Some of these things are straight up from Shein/H&M and there’s nothing wrong per se with both brands (I’m not getting into the ethics of each brand, argue with the wall. I’m talking about the people who can only afford to shop at those brands) but I shop Aritzia for more elevated, quality clothing. Literally what happened to 2010s Aritzia? Everything was actually sophisticated, unique, and relatively priced for the quality; NATURAL fibers at that. Now they’re tryna sell us a $200 polyester dress or $60 tank that I can get at Dynamite? 😂😂 spare meeee. “Just stop shopping there” I have! But as a Vancouver-born-and-raised millennial, Aritzia was *the* brand I grew up wearing and loving. UPDATE: I’m (still) done with Aritzia
Hi everyone! I can’t figure out how to edit my post from earlier today, but here is a link to the original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Aritzia/s/TAqRLO3tli After finding out from other Redditors that the scarf I was sent is from the 2014-2016 era, I decided to try emailing them one more time, as I don’t have an opportunity to visit a store until Tuesday at the earliest. I’ve included a screenshot of the email I sent them — as you can see, it was very informal. I received a response less than an hour later. I don’t know if someone from the company saw my TikTok videos, my IG stories, or even this Reddit thread (I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Reddit!), but I’m sure that was why they escalated their response. I’m happy with the final outcome, so thank you to everyone who commented and gave me advice and information! I realized when I received the email that I purchased the gloves when they were on sale (it was so long ago that I completely forgot about this), hence why the refund is for $70.40. I believe I now have around $250 in gift cards from Aritzia. True to my word, I will spend what is on the gift cards buying socks (and sweatpants for my grandmother), but beyond that, I am done giving Aritzia my money. While I’m happy they finally came up with an adequate customer service response after making me wait for two weeks, I don’t believe that I should have to *fight* with a company that I have *willingly* given so much money to. Again, thank you to everyone who commented, your support has meant so much today and I appreciate it greatly — it has been a very long week for a very long list of reasons, but the kindness I’ve seen from strangers today on Reddit has given me a lot of much-needed faith in humanity (I live in the United States). The only reason I got this conclusion is because of all of you submitted by

I’m done with Aritzia
I’ve been shopping at Aritzia since 2019 and have spent tens of thousands of dollars at the store over the past seven years, but I just had my first bad experience and will never be returning. I honestly don’t mind the communal dressing rooms and I don’t care that much if the quality has decreased a bit over recent years — the clothes get the job done. They’re not priced at a luxury price point, so they hold up for as many years as I’d expect, and usually by the time an item is at the end of its lifespan I’m ready to make an upgrade anyway. Where I draw the line is *actually receiving the item I purchased* and, when that doesn’t happen, having the company actually resolve the situation. I ordered a pair of red leather gloves that cost $88 + tax (screenshot included). The gloves are now sold out. Instead of receiving the gloves, I got some cloth item I’ve never seen before (I’m guessing it’s a scarf, but I could be wrong) that was poorly re-tagged with the tag for the gloves (photo of the tag included). I reached out to customer service believing they would resolve the situation given (a) I did not receive the item I ordered and (b) it’s clear the tag was poorly put on the wrong item on purpose. I don’t want the scarf and am happy to return it. Since the gloves are now sold out, I’d be fine with a gift card, since I have no item to return. Instead, they’re doing nothing. I was told over email that my claim somehow doesn’t meet the standards for a refund or a replacement (screenshot included). I don’t understand this given I did not receive the item I had ordered and it’s obvious someone switched the tags — whether it was another customer doing this on purpose or someone in the warehouse doing this on purpose, I don’t know nor care. I don’t understand how nobody noticed this when shipping out the item, but maybe Aritzia doesn’t check any of the items before mailing them out? Based on the other horror stories I’ve heard, I wouldn’t be surprised. I called the phone number to ask for more information — such as ~why~ nothing more could be done — and was told that they couldn’t do anything and also couldn’t give me any more information, so for that, I will be boycotting the company :) I would rather spend more money for higher quality items from companies who actually care about their customers. At the end of the day, Aritzia really is just a fast fashion powerhouse that has semi-successfully branded itself as being higher end when it’s not. I find it absurd that they’re ok with customers paying money to just… not receive the item(s) they ordered. But there is apparently nothing that can be done. It’s impossible for me to trust them anymore. submitted by /u/skylardavisx to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

Aritzia Is Becoming Fast Fashion - Here's Proof
I feel like people need to talk more about how Aritzia’s quality has been going downhill, because this is ridiculous. I bought the “Dayna” faux leather jacket by Wilfred Free for $248 + tax, expecting it to last. I barely wore it — honestly, it spent more time hanging in my closet than on my body — and yet after less than 3 years, it’s basically trash. Here’s what’s wrong with it: • The zipper never worked properly from the beginning. It constantly caught and wouldn’t glide smoothly or do up at all. • The faux leather is peeling off in multiple places, even where there’s almost no friction. • One of the snaps on the belt loop has ripped off, showing how cheap the construction actually is. For a jacket that’s advertised as a quality piece, this is unacceptable. What makes it worse is that I have faux leather jackets from H&M and Zara — both cost less than half of what I paid — and they’re in way better shape despite being worn a lot more. Aritzia is charging premium prices for what honestly feels like fast-fashion quality. If this is the longevity of a $300 jacket, people deserve to know before spending their money. Do better, Aritzia. submitted by /u/wickedsyd to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

Aritzia - The fastest growing women's clothing store that you never heard of
Parents dragged me out of my basement during the holidays and forced me to go to the mall with them in order to collect my allowance. Anyway the store was packed and every woman was walking out with multiple and I mean multiple bags of their overpriced high margin items. They just reported earnings showing 43% revenue growth with $1bil in Q3. Literally more than most high growth tech companies. And that doesn't even account for Christmas shopping. Only accounts for November at best. We're in a K shaped economy, the poor get poorer and the rich get Aritzia Edit - To everyone that's asking - Yes I'm still holding. Zara is valued at like ~150bil USD, and Aritizia is only sitting at 11bil USD. There's more than enough room for this to grow 5-10x in the next couple years. submitted by /u/MrMoist to r/wallstreetbets [link] [comments]

Why are you still shopping at Aritzia? No hate
As someone who stalks this sub to catch any deals or fits, I’m astounded by how many negative posts there are about Artizia’s business practices. Here are the frequent complaints Mark up prices before sales Outrageous prices for mediocre or decreased quality Dumb fitting room design that forces you to see how an outfit doesn’t fit or exposes you in front of strangers or men. Poor or outright rude customer service by associates Crappy return policy What is keeping everyone a fan of Aritzia. Is it just comfortably within your budget? Nothing quite scratches that style itch? Genuinely curious! I’ve only shopped there once and didn’t have a pleasant experience. I am curious, the most I’ve seen is maybe $800, but I’d love to hear other people’s answers! submitted by /u/PersimmonMammoth3535 to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

Are you a Canadian feeling neglected by Aritzia? Yeah, it’s about to get so much worse.
EDIT: you guys, comprehension is critical. At no point in this post do I say I want aritzia to expand in Canada. I’m simply lamenting that we’re not getting the same gifts with purchases, extra sales, and other perks that come with the instore shopping experience in the states because their priority isn’t that. It’s US expansion, fueled by Canadian buyers. And Canadians are allowed to be mad about their money not staying in Canada. ORIGINAL POST: If you’re like me you would have noticed that recently the US site is getting surprise sales, US stores are having fun events, US customers are getting exclusive gifts, and US sales like clientele start earlier and run longer than the same sales in Canada. If you’re feeling like the less-favourite child, it’s not in your head. Aritzia just released their fourth quarter fiscal 2025 financial report, and in it they beam about their expansion efforts in the states. Out of 130 current stores, 67 are in Canada and in 63 are in the states, almost an even 50-50 split. However, they explicitly state “a focus on the United States” as a key strategic priority, with plans to open 10 additional stores in the states (out of 12 total new stores opening) in 2026. In a section titled Growth Strategy, the first key area is “geographic expansion.” I.e more stores in other places. They outline plans to open 8-12 new stores MINIMUM EACH YEAR in the states thru 2027. No such plans exist for Canadians. The next key area is digital growth. Which makes sense as increasing numbers of consumers continue to shop online. At no point in the report do they focus on rewarding Canadian customers, customer retention in Canada, capitalizing on Canadian pride or the Shop Canadian campaigns, or even exclusive gifts just for Canadian customers. “We have identified the opportunity for 150 locations in the US that meet our exacting criteria” but zero, ZERO opportunities identified to reconnect with their Canadian audience. Aritzia HQ, if you’re reading this, shame on you and shame on your leadership for abandoning your roots. You’re neglecting the audience that got you to where you are today, and your current strategy of viral marketing and influencer engagement that takes inspo from fast fashion is neither sustainable nor smart. You have insane brand loyalty and awareness here in the great north. This was your home. But there’s tons of cute places for us to shop now. I hope y’all pivot and give us reasons to stay loyal before you turn into the next Bombardier, BlackBerry, Roots, Sorel, Frank and Oak… Canadian brands that are sinking/already sank. submitted by /u/tipsy-kitten to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

I am an OG Torontonian Aritzia girlie… and I can’t help but grieve over the quality of their clothes.
Here’s a photo of the super puff 5 years ago when they first came out vs. now! I really should’ve bought it back then and feeling the regrets now 😭 submitted by /u/firegirl110 to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

What job do you do to afford so much Aritzia?
Alright ladies I’m a long time lurker and I usually buy Aritzia secondhand (25$ stedman coat is my best find yet!) but since joining this sub and seeing all of your fitpics, I finally bought a couple of items! Safe to say I do not want to see this month’s credit card bill😬😬😬 I was curious to see what job do you do to afford so much Aritzia/ lululemon/ Club Monaco/Abercrombie Bonus question: do you buy from cheaper, fast-fashion-y stores like H&M, Zara, and Shein, do you thrift, or mostly buy from Aritzia? I’m a law student bankrolling my Aritzia spending through summer jobs/ part time jobs and hoping to land somewhere where I can afford to filter from high to low (jk but not really) I haven’t really shopped in recent months, but in the last year, I bought from FB marketplace, Winners, Levi’s, Lululemon (On the Fly Pants🥲), Princess Polly, AE, and surprisingly, H&M! submitted by /u/asiantoucan to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]

Working at Aritzia : an inside scoop
Hey guys! Not sure if this is allowed, please message me if it’s not, but I wanted to open up a discussion for those who were former employees or current employees or know employees to share their experiences. I have my personal experience and opinions and it’s not Anti-Aritzia especially on e-commerce, but more so the culture of it and how toxic my personal experience was working in stores. I don’t want to elaborate in case this isn’t allowed. If it is, I’ll be happy to offer an elaboration on a comment below. I have a small rant and I’d really like to get everyone’s opinions on the matter and to let me know if I’m normal for feeling the way that I do. Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/quarancutie to r/Aritzia [link] [comments]
