Every baby is different. By baby hated MAM. We tried 6 bottles before we found one he liked (bibs). I got the Babylist bottle box so we had a variety to choose from

It took me a while to gather these before posting but here we are! Babylist was the first to arrive and is one of my favourites out of the lot although probably not $100 worth of items. I did claim some of the “free gifts” coupons (paid shipping). Extras I got were: 14oz Bobbie Infant Formula, Dyper diapers and wipes, and a cute swaddle. Shipping was between $5 to 8.95. Target is another favourite. I appreciate the wipes samples as we can use them for our diaper bag. It took about 3 weeks+ to be back in stock. Macrobaby is one that I haven’t seen many people post about and only recently learnt about it. I had to create a baby registry and spend a minimum of $15 and $4.95 shipping or spend over $49.99 for free shipping. I wasn’t sure how to claim the gift and contacted customer support 2 weeks later. They asked me the gender of the baby and sent some cute (and different) items for baby boy in a cooler bag. Shipping was free. Some people received a box of nursing pads but I got a dishwasher basket for bottle/ pump accessories. I would have been much happier with the nursing pads as I don’t plan to wash baby stuff in the dishwasher. Amazon was lacking. My baby list box! I feel it was definitely worth it. We have a registry already with them so others have bought items for us to get to the $35 requirement, so all I had to pay was $8.95 for shipping. I got 3 plastic bottles, which I plan to give away. The real value for me though is the free coupons! I already posted my Amazon box but I figured I’d post the others that I received as well! Babylist: ordered January 18th, arrived January 27th. I paid $8.95 for shipping. This was the only box that I paid anything for but it was the best! Im really happy with the items and it also came with a coupon for a free little unicorn swaddle ($8.95 shipping), a free set of Dyper brand diapers and wipes ($5 shipping), and a free can of Bobbie formula (I believe around $8-9 shipping). Amazon: ordered January 20th, arrived January 27th. This was the most disappointing box. 3 items and a sample was all I got. The swaddle is nice but I don’t care to have a plain white onesie and another Dr browns bottle. Boxes I’ve see others post in the past were so much better! Target: ordered January 22nd, arrived February 2nd. This was the 2nd best. Really pleased with the variety of diaper and wipe samples and bibs pacifier. Shipping was free with target circle membership. Walmart: ordered January 26th, arrived February 7th. This one is okay. Im glad to have the pads and the large size wipes as they will definitely get used but the boxes in the past were more exciting with cute baby items. Super belatedly posting these 2025 registry gift boxes/bags just cause I have the photos on my desktop and wanted them to go to use...I know people have already posted similarly but maybe this will be useful to someone. Target is an estimated haul cause I forgot I had only photographed the outside before I started putting things away, oops! So I think this is what they sent, by process of elimination lol. (And I crossed out the Halo swaddle cause I found that someone actually bought it for us. Actually now I see the burp cloth in another pic so not that either! haha) Some takeaways: -All had a bunch of coupons, which doesn't really feel like anything, have to spend money for the goods and services anyway. (The ones with samples attached are different, because samples.) -I ended up with a lot of the same bottles (Dr. Browns, Phillips Aventi) between these gift boxes and two different try-em-all bottle boxes we got as gifts, so I ended up not using all the free bottles. I wished I'd opened the Mam one earlier because the package is so unnassuming but the pacifier & bottle are so cute. :) -I think the Amazon was the fewest items, but was also the only one that didn't charge shipping, and the items were mostly nice and got used, so it felt worthwhile. The muslin swaddle/blanket/fabric was a favorite, onesie was nice, and my baby likes the avocado toast toy. I was excited about the Palmer's samples while pregnant because I'd been wanting to buy some. Bag itself is super cute except I feel a little embarrassed carrying it around since it says "Baby Registry," idk why though I guess... -Babylist, I also ended up liking/using almost everything, aside from the many coupons. Definitely not "worth" as much money as they claim, but some good stuff. -Target is the least amount of stuff, I think. I wanted to share an honest review of the BabyList Welcome Box (January 2026), especially because I ordered it based on reviews and photos from previous months. Older unboxings looked noticeably better and more substantial, and many people said the box was genuinely worth the effort. Unfortunately, this version felt like a major downgrade. What it took to get the box To qualify for the Welcome Box, I had to: • Create a BabyList registry • Purchase at least $30 worth of items • Pay $9 shipping on that order • Then pay another $9 shipping for the Welcome Box itself What was actually inside (with realistic value) Diapers • Rascal + Friends: • 1 Newborn diaper • 1 Size 1 diaper • Huggies: • 3 Size 1 diapers Real value: ~$2 total Feeding & breastfeeding items • Lansinoh: • 1 breast milk storage bag • 1 pair disposable breast pads Value: ~$1–1.50 • Philips Avent bottle (4 oz) Value: ~$6–8 • Munchkin Flow Nipple Shields Plus (full product) Value: ~$9–11 • Suavinex pacifier Value: ~$6–8 Wipes & care samples • WaterWipes (10-wipe sample) Value: ~$1 • Lume Whole Body Deodorant (14 g sample) Value: ~$3–4 • Noodle & Boo baby laundry detergent (30 ml sample) Value: ~$1–2 • Breast milk storage guidelines magnet Value: ~$1 (at best) Clothing (the only standout item) • Kite Baby bamboo bodysuit This was the only item that felt truly premium. Real cash value to me: $0. Realistic total value Being generous: • Diapers & samples: \~$15 • Feeding items: \~$25 • Kite Baby bodysuit: \~$32 ➡️ Total realistic value: ~$65–70 The issue BabyList advertises this box as having a $125 value, but that number clearly includes: • Coupons and discounts • Items that require additional purchases • Shipping-dependent “free” offers When I opened the box, it honestly felt almost empty. Without the Kite Baby bodysuit, this would feel like a standard free registry box — not something you effectively pay nearly $50 to receive. Final thoughts I ordered this specifically because previous months’ boxes looked much better, and based on those reviews, it seemed worth the effort. The January 2026 version, however, feels significantly downgraded. If you already planned to shop at BabyList and really want the Kite Baby item, maybe it’s fine. But if you’re expecting a $125-value box of useful baby essentials, this isn’t it. They reached out after seeing this post and listened to a lot of my (and other commenters') feedback regarding the cost to ship their box, the quality of items received, as well as concerns with "free" coupons. Received all of my free baby boxes; here’s the roundup! It was so fun getting free items, I now have a total of 8 baby bottles so I won’t need to buy any before baby arrives (will probably need to buy some once we figure out what bottles baby likes). Babylist was my favorite, follows by Walmart, Kohl’s and Target. I have to say, five years ago when I was having my first, the welcome/gift boxes seemed to be much better. We received much more in each (Amazon, Target, etc). This time around I have ordered the Amazon box , which thankfully the shipping was free, and the Target bag. The Target bag I had to pay for shipping, which was frustrating. Combined, I have six single newborn diapers from a variety of companies, 1 muslin swaddle (soft, but I won’t really use this, probably will give it to a mom who will) , 1 onesie, 3 bottles and 2 pacifiers. Plus, a bunch of junk samples and a lot of junk fliers. I swear we got more when everything was completely free. By the way, I don’t mean to come off as greedy, I understand these were “free” items (I did have to pay shipping and did have to order items from registries on both to receive them- but I acknowledge they were free to an extent. Btw, I had to purchase the items because this is our second and we aren’t having a shower), but the idea of spending nine dollars to receive another bottle, fliers and junk samples (random tiny packets of lotion), gives me heartburn.
