17 days post op The big reveal
17 days post op the big reveal! First follow up appt happened today at 17days post op DI no nips. My doctor said some wild stuff today that I’ve never heard of this early in recovery. Now that I spent the last two weeks reading about other experiences and what other medical professionals advice as far as timeline of limitations, I’m totally confused. He told me I should be working on raising my arms as high as possible until it hurts and at that point using the other hand to massage the area that hurts. This is Contrary to what I’ve read online, saying do not lift arms above shoulders for 6 weeks. He also told me to moisturize right away. Again o was under the impression that I should wait until the scabs form and fall off to begin scar care. I’m only 17 days post op. He assured me that scar stretching doesn’t happen from lifting my arms. It happens when there are sudden fast movements like a reaction to fear. I asked about scar tape and he told Me he recommends that I use regular medical tape the cloudy white kind, and just cover the incision with it. This is supposed to heal it w great success. I’ve never heard of this. I’m wondering if anyone has? I wish I would have taken the time to ask more questions. I still don’t understand what to do now. He said to moisturize but does my incision look ready for that? And why did he not recommend silicone scar tape? Does that come later? Should I be massaging w aquaphor right away as instructed? Should I use scar tape and not medical tape? He didn’t mention anything about massaging the incision. He just said I’m good to go, and i don’t have to do anything else if I don’t want to because he feels confident I’m going to heal just fine. I am very concerned about my scars. Probably overeacting, but I want to give myself the best chance at scar reduction to where I can’t see it at all or very little. I know this won’t happen for a year or two or more, but until then I want to do what’s best to get me there when the time comes. Any thoughts? I’m so happy w my results. They look exactly how I hoped they would. I notice a portion of my tattoo is gone, and he lined it up nicely where it doesn’t look totally off balance. It also sits perfectly under my pecs. This is something I asked for specifically because I’m 2.5 months in T and hopeful to build muscle again once I’m healed enough. I want to share my results here because I don’t really have anyone to share them with and I feel happy, euphoric, and finally I look like myself. ❤️ submitted by /u/Phoenixonfire_79 to r/FreedTheNips [link] [comments]

I think I might know why Akemura committed genocide, why Chihiro's mother has not been seen yet, and the big reveal behind the blood test (Spoilers for the newest chapter)
Because of these two panels, we know that Chiaki is Chihiro's mother and the Soga clan are the current ruling family in Japan. That means Akemura is Chiaki's little brother and the Prince of Japan. If everything above turns out to be correct, then I feel like the reason that led Akemura to unleash the Malediction and kill the Shokoku natives is simple. The war was coming close to an end and a ceasefire had been reached between Japan and Shokoku after the people of Shokoku had overthrown their Royal Family. During the time of potential peace negotiations, a small group of extremist Shokokuans loyal to their Royal Family kidnapped Chihiro as a baby to try and get the Royal Family back in power (unless they were executed) and have Japan surrender to Shokoku. To get Chihiro back, either Chiaki ordered Akemura to go after the group or Akemura went by himself (a potential barallel between him and Chihiro), killing them all and recovering baby Chihiro. Something we saw in chapter 112. The incident changed Akemura, making him think all the Shokokuans are like that small group of extremists, leading him to choose to eliminate them all even when peace had already been (at least almost) achieved. This led to the rest of the Sword Bearers confronting Akemura on the island and his eventual arrest. In the end, he waited for 18 years to be executed for treason before being freed by the Hishaku. Now let's get to why Chiaki wasn't a part of Chihiro's life? I doubt it's because she's dead, so I came up with two reasons for that. the simple reason: Chihiro had just been kidnapped weeks or months prior. It's safer for him to live in hiding. The political reason: Kunishige, someone who's most likely a commoner, had a child with the Princess of Japan. The most likely reason is that Sorcery (and the powerful Sorcerer Clans, who used to do business in the shadows, by extent) were revealed to the world. If you were a parent, you most likely wouldn't want your newborn child to be kidnapped again or treated as some sort of bargaining chip, do you? It's easier if Chihiro's mom wasn't a part of his life, right? That would make it easier for him to live his life while also having Shiba, the Guardian of the Soga Clan, watch over both Kunishige and Chihiro. Now for the possible political reasons. Imagine what the scandal it would possibly be if it was found out that a member of the Royal Family and the next (or current) leader of Japan had a child with Kunishige? Yeah, he's the one who made the Enchanted Blades, allowing Japan to win the Seitei War, but that still doesn't change the fact that there could possibly be a huge scandal because of it. I feel like both options are correct. It's easier to keep what happened between Kunishige and Chiaki hidden, allowing a scandal to be avoided while also keeping Chihiro as safe as possible. Meanwhile Chiaki can continue her duties as a member of the royal family. submitted by /u/AX0L0TL_KING to r/Kagurabachi [link] [comments]

Why the Little Red Riding Hood reveal is so clever
At first, one would simply think that Red Baron has the curse of the Little Red Riding Hood...because he's usually seen in a red attire and occasionally wears a hood. Although, if it was this straightforward, Count Saint-Germain could have simply picked a random young person, gave them a power and a red hood, then wait for a bit so they would get "cursed" and extract the now cursed power, similarly to what happened to Kouki Yukishiro (though we have to remember that Koki has an innate gift that allows her to see pygmies unlike other spirit aware people) It's clever because Red Baron supposedly wasn't cursed UNTIL Vlad and Count Saint-Germain revealed their true intentions. Red Baron openly trusted Germain just like Little Red Hood trusted her grandmother, the HYPER geezer. The fact that Germain is the Big Bad Wolf is even more apparent when we see him actually swear for the first time, compared to his ridiculous insults like "Nimrod" or his slang talk while acting as Sanjome. He has always been putting on a fake persona. If Germain and Vlad didn't backstab him like this, then he wouldn't have received the curse. Usually one would look at the person's backstory to deduce whether they are the cursed user or not, and that's why Tatsu was able to pull of this twist: because Red Baron became Little Red Riding Hood in the next chapter. As a side note: Who is Pinocchio? Many people seem to be saying Jiji because of the Evil Eye, but I disagree. 5 out of 6 curses so far have been based on the human's backstory, not their power. Momo is not Alice in Wonderland because of her power's backstory, nor Rin nor Koki for example. Momo met the Queen of Hearts (Reiko Kashima), became small and adventured through the wonderland Danmara. So even if Evil Eye wanted to play with the other kids and be a real boy, it shouldn't apply because he isn't human. So neither Turbo Granny should be Pinocchio. So for me, this leaves the only logical conclusion: Okarun. Hes the only one who Sanjome directly asks to admit defeat in chapter 169, and his incredibly troubled reaction is now explained: Okarun is missing his power, so the Pinocchio curse can't be harvested yet. This effectively alters his plans and has him consider getting close to Okarun and his friends so he can more easily harvest the curse. He also fought a whale (Mr. Dris) and has the Oni Club which shrinks and grows just like Pinocchio's nose. As for the "real boy" aspect, Okarun always wanted to have friends and looked for aliens to fill that hole, something like that submitted by /u/Specialist_Bowler897 to r/Dandadan [link] [comments]

Anyone else thought this moment would be the big twist reveal in episode 9?
Manousos discovering this device looked like it was the moment they were going to flip the whole thing on its head. I felt a sudden rush of excitement similar to how I felt when episode 5 ended with Carol discovering the bodies. But then it just turned out to be a red herring. That's still alright. But after Zosia admits towards the end that they were going to use the frozen eggs to get her stem cells, I was very disappointed at the writers. Not because of the reveal, but because they felt the need to keep this little sensor discovering scene at the beginning of the episode to remind the audience about Carol's frozen eggs. That's just a 'we didn't think you would connect it together, so here's another reminder', kind of thing. Would be nice if they didn't think the audience was that dumb submitted by /u/shit-takes to r/pluribustv [link] [comments]

The protagonist spends the series talking about another character, only for the viewer to find out they're completely different as they were described
George Sr. from Big Bang Theory/Young Sheldon: Throughout BBT, Sheldon describes his father as a dimwit redneck "Homer Simpson" who made little effort to try to understand him as a child. In Young Sheldon, it's revealed that Sheldon simply lacked the emotional intelligence to process his father's death and repressed his father's positive traits. In truth, George Sr. was a wise and deeply loving and supportive father who did his best to understand his son. Eddie's brother from Ed, Edd, and Eddie: Eddie always described his brother as "the coolest" kid who everyone respected. In the film, it's revealed Eddie had made up most of the positive traits about his older brother and the latter is actually an abusive loser with over-inflated sense of worth, explaining Eddie's low self-esteem and deep feelings of inadequacy. submitted by /u/BrotherDeus to r/TopCharacterTropes [link] [comments]

I will NOT reveal the number until September 3rd, which is when the giveaway will close. HOWEVER!!! Every single person who gets the number, I will be buying a copy for. No, I’m not joking. The picture above is proof that I’m willing to burn at least $20 for this dumb little thing I’m doing. I’d call it a bit, but then y’all would think I’m a faker. …and if nobody guesses the number by midnight, September 4th (Pacific time)…I’ll burn the $20 and post the video to this subreddit. If the almighty mods allow me. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!! Edit for clarification: it’s a number between 1 and 1000. No, it’s not 69. No, it’s not 420. Only whole numbers. Pretty sure Trump said too much about that "little secret" and actually revealed their plan.
This article explains it a lot better but it doesn't go into detail about the words and language Trump was using before he announced the "little secret". But those words are very important. It's complicated but the plan seems to be Trump winning the election by decreasing the number of electors that are appointed to vote by getting Republicans in states that Trump loses, to refuse submitting a slate of electors which then decreases the amount of electoral votes needed for Trump to win. The deadline for that submission is December 11. There's no need for sending fake electors anymore. The reason they couldn't delay the vote by not submitting electors in 2020, was because Pelosi was the speaker of the House and she would've extended the deadline. But now, Mike Johnson is the speaker of the House so he doesn't have to do that and probably won't. By December 25th, the deadline for those electors to vote, there will only be enough electors for Trump to win. Mike Johnson is pretty much the main component to making this work. That is why Trump rants about Mike Johnson not being as innocent as he looks and also predicts that he'll be around for a "long time". Directly after that, Trump talks about the great congressman across the country and how they have so many of them. But here's where he really fucks it up. He says "they're going to be angry. They won't speak to me for probably a month or so but it'll calm down after that right, Matt Gaetz? It'll calm down." This is referring to the months that Republican legislatures will delay the submission of electors. This will cause chaos especially for those specific congressmen. Right after that is when the comment about his and Mike's "little secret" is made which is to be released after the election: "because we can take the Senate pretty easily and I think with our little secret we're going to do really well with the house, right? Our little secret is having a big impact. He and I have a secret. We'll tell you what it is when the race is over." Trump said too much and I think Mike Johnson realized that. His first response was that secrets aren't to be shared and that he doesn't "intend to share this one" and also blamed the Democrats for keeping secrets(projection and gaslighting). But now he's claiming there isn't a secret and it's just a joke about a get-out-the-vote tactic. I think he's feeling a little bit of the pressure and trying his best to cover up his and Trump's mistakes. The MSG rally and everything you will see from the Trump administration for the upcoming days until the election, is to distract those that would care and to energize his cult more into believing the election is already being stolen. It's the Jan 6th playbook all again but with a little twist. submitted by /u/Long-Chair2702 to r/Destiny [link] [comments]

There is a big Gojo reveal in 271, but what is it?
SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 270 Gojo has not been narratively mentioned after the battle even once, this is on purpose. This could only mean that if Gojo were to be mentioned, he would be mentioned in a way that is so significant that it would be wasteful to not put it in the final chapter. In other words, Gege is saving the mention of Gojo for the final chapter because there is some significant reveal. Furthermore, Gojo (in his singular mention) has not been stated to be dead, he has only been said to have been "defeated", or in Viz and Mangaplus: "We were able to follow up with an attack immediately after Gojo, and that drew Uraume away from Sukuna." Unusual wording, right? And as we know, chapter 270 will begin (probably) with Yuji and Megumi hunting the cause of a mysterious hallucination. So, unless there is some jarring splice in the next chapter to talk about Gojo, there is great likelihood that this curse user has something to do with Gojo. Some people think that this curse user is actually Jin, but I disagree. (From here on I am completely waffling btw) According to the final page of 270, there is some debate about the source of the cursed hallucinations. The idea of it being a cursed spirit is possible, but the cursed spirit would need to be semi-grade 1 or above to have the capacity to reduce its murderous intent (there is no murderous intent), which is unlikely. This leads Megumi to believe that it may more likely be an awakened culling games player. but Yuji concludes (for some reason) that it is "probably a curse user". The "narrator" then ends on the note: "Itadori and co against the harassing curse user..." So, while it seems that there is definitely implication that the source of the hallucinations is a curse user, Gege is known for his misleading cliffhangers, so there still exists very well the possibility that the source is not a curse user. This leads me to one conclusion: that the sorcerer in question is actually a sorcerer commissioned by the UNITED STATES (HEAR ME OUT). We know that Kenjaku met with the United States government in order to commission troops to invade Japan in order for him to slay more people for additional cursed energy. However, he had to be sure that the government officials of the foreign governments are aware of the power of cursed energy, for this reason he gives them cursed energy sensing glasses and does a demonstration of the power of jujutsu by his killing of many soldiers at the white house (he also shows videos of "jujutsu incidents"). This means undoubtedly that the government of the United States knows very well about the incomprehensible and unseeable power of jujutsu, and naturally, that the number of troops they ended up sending would be too little. With this information in mind, they had two months to plan (since Kenjaku met with the government in September, where the culling game began in November). This means without a doubt that the government of the United States (and less likely the government of another country) has, in the "Manifest Destiny" spirit of the United States, embarked to assemble a team to capture Gojo for global energy use. This is a team probably consisting of sorcerers with the presumed capacity to defeat Gojo. And I propose that this team of special operatives have stolen Gojo's body and are doing some wacky stuff or whatever. Anyway this theory is definitely not true and I completely made this up while I was writing this but I believe Gege is capable of writing such peak. https://preview.redd.it/49928w24oxpd1.jpg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=393c3cae2d70d64f738b580b1c81f5effe79b7b9 submitted by /u/Top_Entrance_3965 to r/Jujutsufolk [link] [comments]

Jeffrey Epstein's private island circle in 'blind panic' as Donald Trump threatens to release names
Donald Trump says he'll release names of a string of high-profile men - said to include several Brits - who visited sex offender Jeffrey Epstein's Caribbean island if he's re-elected in November Jeffrey Epstein’s secret circle of high-profile men who visited his private Caribbean island has been sent into “a blind panic” after Donald Trump vowed he’d release their names. For decades, only a handful of men, including the paedophile’s pal Prince Andrew, are known to have visited Little Saint James. But now, dozens of the rich and powerful - which The Mirror can reveal includes several Brits who have so far lived under a cloak of anonymity - are now fearful they could be identified if Trump is re-elected in November. While appearing on the Lex Fridman podcast in the States, the host accused the former president of “hesitating” to reveal who visited the island previously. “There's a moment where you had some hesitation about Epstein releasing some of the documents on Epstein. Why the hesitation?” Fridman asked. Trump replied: “I don't think I had... I mean, I'm not involved. I never went to his island, fortunately. But a lot of people did.” The host then says: “Why do you think so many smart, powerful people allowed him to get so close?” Trump responded: “He was a good salesman, a hailing, hardy guy, and he had some nice assets that he'd throw around like islands. But a lot of big people went to that island. But fortunately, I was not one of them.” Fridman said, "It’s just very strange for a lot of people that the list of clients that went to the island has not been made public.” Trump replied: “Yeah, it's very interesting isn't it? It probably will be, by the way. I'd certainly take a look at it.” He then added: “But yeah, I'd be inclined to do the Epstein.” The Wall Street financier, who was charged with sex trafficking of minors and died by jail cell suicide in August 2019 as he awaited trial, was known to have hosted numerous influential people at his private residence, including politicians, business leaders, and celebrities. However, while some names became public due to the flight logs of Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ private jet being made public, many arrived unnoticed. A victim of Epstein has now implored Trump to reveal the names. “People are very nervous and highly so. They'll be in a blind panic now,” the now 37-year-old told The Mirror. “Trump’s pledge to expose these names should cause a lot of sleepless nights. Some of these men are incredibly powerful and have gone to great lengths to keep their associations with Jeffrey under wraps. If Trump gets back in, their days will be numbered. He should expose them. I know who I will be voting for.” Last night, leading US attorney Spencer Kuvin, who represents multiple women abused by Epstein, added: “While this information would be interesting, I would also like to know how many times Epstein visited [Trump’s] Mar-a-Lago.” The lawyer was referring to how Epstein was known to have visited Trump’s Florida mansion - once being filmed enjoying a party there with the property mogul. Mar-A-Lago was also where Epstein and his convicted teen trafficker madam, Ghislaine Maxwell, recruited their ‘sex slave’ Virginia Giuffre. She would later go on to allege she was loaned out to Prince Andrew to sleep with on several occasions by Epstein. One of Ms Giuffre’s claims included accusing the Duke of York of taking part in an underage orgy on Little St James. Andrew has strenuously denied her claims against him and insisted he has no memory of even encountering his accuser. Legal experts have cautioned that disclosing names without concrete evidence linking them to criminal behaviour could lead to significant legal challenges. “If Trump releases a list of names, he could be opening himself up to serious risks,” said one legal analyst. “It’s not just a matter of public interest, it’s about the reputations and rights of individuals who may be implicated without due process. There is nothing to suggest any visitor knew of Epstein’s offending or took any part in it.” submitted by /u/ALiddleBiddle to r/Epstein [link] [comments]

EXCLUSIVEJames Corden's big secret exposed: His modus operandi has always been 'very Meghan', says KATIE HIND - now it has finally been revealed
He's a social climbing "beg friend" who love bombs and then discards people as he moves up the celebrity friend ladder - just like Megs! I love it! How he has managed to build up such a bulging black book of phone numbers has long remained a secret. And many are not merely aquaintences. Some of Corden’s most famous contacts - among them David Beckham, Adele, Tom Cruise, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - consider him a friend. Charming, funny and seemingly caring, the Gavin and Stacey star is the party guest everyone wants to talk to. That is, apart from singer Lily Allen, who made a staggering swipe at Corden this week by describing him a ‘beg friend’, in other words a person who ‘begs’ for your attention in the hope of forming a friendship. In this respect, it appears that it might be a little more than just friendship that he has in common with his chum the Duchess of Sussex. One of Corden’s former colleagues told the Mail: ‘It’s like a ladder James is climbing, he goes up and each time he does it’s to befriend someone more famous. As he does so, those less famous fall away, it’s all very “Meghan”. *‘*Someone is the flavour of the month and they get love-bombed, get invited here, there and everywhere, and then when he meets someone else, they are no longer of interest. He’s like a limpet.’ https://archive.ph/3FKOL https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13689975/James-Cordens-big-secret-exposed-modus-operandi-Meghan-says-KATIE-HIND-finally-revealed.html submitted by /u/Von_und_zu_ to r/SaintMeghanMarkle [link] [comments]

Reveal your secrets: what are your best little things that make a big improvement to your burn?
What are your own tips/tricks/hacks or proven methods to best enjoy your burn? Taking off your shoes before going into your tent, changing your socks every day, baby wipes, wearing sunscreen….not that kind of stuff. What are the little routines or tasks that you’ve implemented that are now a necessary habit? I put a full nalgene of water into the cooler in the evening so if/when I wake up in misery, I have COLD water at the ready. Instead of a lil flask, I fill an old insulated ~20 ounce water bottle with whiskey before going out. More to share! “Shit bag”. I have a tiny tote bag that holds a roll of 1 ply, hand sani, portable bidet(!), wipes, and dog poop bags. Sometimes reading material. It can hang on the Porto hooks. I always have what I need for a good poop. The dog poo bags are perfect for keeping my used wipes or menstrual products censored from prying eyes while I walk back home. Always need sunglasses and a headlamp in my bag. The last thing I need is a great adventure ending early because the sun is blinding or disappeared. submitted by /u/Spirited-Cobbler-934 to r/BurningMan [link] [comments]

shinobi602 (insider/developer) on the "lack" of First Party reveals by PlayStation: "I think some still haven't really grasped just how long big games take to make now"
He commented on the subject in the PlayStation thread on Resetera, as people are worried about the lack of first party announcements from Sony, even more so after rumors that Sony will not have a big event with giant reveals in the middle of the year. The full text: Wolverine was announced years ago and I don't know the details of why they decided to do that so early. Could have been a Disney thing. Could have just been Insomniac wanting to hype up their fans, or for recruiting talent, or any number of reasons. Physint could just be Kojima being Kojima. He's on his own planet lol. I don't mean there's like a mandate from up top at Sony or something, but based on convos I've had, it sounds like some teams like to have windows nailed down more concretely before announcing things. There's one that a while ago I definitely expected would show up in this upcoming event because it's been a good minute, but won't, and that's just how they prefer do things and that's fine I guess. But I think some people in here really just want to be in perpetual hype mode lol. A bunch of their teams released big games not that long ago. Just in the last couple years, Guerrilla launched HFW which is a massive game, helped with Horizon: Call of the Mountain, HFW's PC port, are helping with something else that we'll see soon and are working on multiple big projects. Santa Monica launched GOWR like a year and a half ago. Polyphony launched GT7 two years ago. Returnal came out 3 years ago and Housemarque's game is a new IP which almost always takes longer to get up to speed. TLOU2 was four years ago and TLOU Online would have been the next big thing but we know how that went, and not because it was a bad game. Naughty Dog needs a little more time. I think some still haven't really grasped just how long big games take to make now. I've been on a couple projects for years whose release dates I was expecting to be announced at this point or that point and they took longer because game dev is just hard. Every company has some blockbuster dry spells here and there. Nintendo's not releasing a new Zelda or Mario or Metroid every few years. They supplement with spin offs and stuff and they're good with that, but I don't think they have huge blockbusters every year. We can clearly see Xbox is definitely not averse to it either. Sometimes the way things line up - you have peaks and valleys in releases. I personally don't think Playstation has a first party \problem*. Sure it could be better, and I understand people want to specifically know "ok, where's Sucker Punch, where's Bend, where's Santa Monica, where's Naughty Dog" - the "big" ones. A lot of 2023 was dry, but just in the last 6-7 months, they've put out Spider-Man 2, Helldivers 2, Rise of the Ronin, and Stellar Blade, all big first party games. And outside of that FF7 Rebirth just for an extra cherry on top. They're* feeding you. And there's still more this year. Sony's likely pretty okay with how things are going. I'm sure they'd love to have 'big franchise games' this year, but PS5 is still doing great and I think outside of this forum, the mainstream buyer is pretty chill right now. Like I said, there's a few big ones planned for next year on top of Death Stranding 2. Totoki confirmed that too. I don't know when they'll announce them at the moment, but I suspect there could be another event later in the year, we'll see. I'll probably hear more later. submitted by /u/nolifebr to r/PS5 [link] [comments]
