Picked up the Bluetooth earbuds just now on my afternoon walk 512 Bloor St W has em in both colors They sound ok. Perhaps a bit muddy for music, maybe need to use equalizer software. Same volume both ears. Paired with no issues. Like the different colored light show while charging Charging indicator might be inaccurate. Showed 95% when connected to cord. 40% when paired to phone Beauty is these won't sting financially I lose em Just called my wife , she said they sound good on the phone call Update - dont be like me. Looking for a pair of earbuds that actually sound good, stay comfortable for long use, and don’t die after a year. So many options and mixed reviews out there, so I’d love real opinions from people who’ve used theirs for a while. The sound quality difference is noticeable but not drastic enough to where I’d say I need to take my dac/ amp every where I go. This combo sounds better than any Bluetooth earbuds I’ve heard. I have purchased countless brands of Bluetooth earbuds, and almost all of them have done this. A big selling point for wireless earbuds is the battery life. They have essentially removed a significant portion, percentage-wise, of battery life in order to unnecessarily remind you for at least 5 straight minutes (sometimes more) that “BATTERY LOW” No one needs this. If you’d like to tell me one time, maybe two, that the battery is low in the last ten minutes, great. But having basically an alarm going off in your ear, cutting off the audio, rendering the earbuds useless for a large percentage of the battery life is ridiculous and makes no sense. The moment “BATTERY LOW” happens, they’re already dead because they are not functional. Who are these people? How is it possible a single person, let alone a group of people who create and sell a product could have such an idiotic idea? How does something like this get through? One thing I've always loved about my Switch is the audio in games and being able to connect my earbuds so that it doesn't disturb everyone around. I primarily play Switch but I do also have a Series X I occasionally play when I'm up later than everyone else in the house. One night it dawned on me that I didn't have to have the volume turned down so low, I could just connect my earbuds and enjoy the game. Until I realise you can't. There are ways around it, connecting via adapters and phone etc, but it feels unnecessarily complicated. Apple AirPods are over $100 and so many people willingly pay that money to buy a pair. But there are so many great inexpensive Bluetooth earbuds out there. JVC and JLab, to name a couple, have very good Bluetooth earbuds and at a fraction of the cost. So why do people opt for the AirPods at an inflated price?
