[Routine Help] Milky toner before or after exfoliating toner?
Hey y'all, I need help with the order in which I apply my products. I use the Byoma Milky Toner morning and night. My skin loves this, it got rid of my cystic acne completely. Before I tried the Byoma, I was using Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant which didn't help with the cystic acne much but did help with blackheads and skin texture. The Byoma doesn't do much for blackheads so I would like to use both, but how? In what order? In the morning or at night? I am totally overwhelmed with conflicting info so I am hoping the skincare geniuses here can help. Thank you! Holy grail level non milky toners/essences?
Hi there! I enjoy skin flooding to help hydrate my dry skin. I have a fair amount of milky toners and would like to find some non-milky ones to start my routine with. I currently have a sample of the Hanskin Hyaluron Skin Essence and I do like it, but I thought it might be good to see if there was anything else I should be considering before buying a full size of something. Something to note, I think I might have a sensitivity to niacinamide so I'm trying to lessen the amount used in my routine. I am still open to any and all recommendations! Also in return my favorite milky toners are the Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence (this is my number 1) and the Byoma Milky Toner is one I always go back to. It's basic, but I love it, especially when my skin has gotten a bit irritated. I love reading everyone's posts in here and just appreciate any comments I get! I hope everyone is having a lovely day! ✨️ submitted by /u/kristak92 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

Byoma Hydrating Milky Toner
I liked this one a lot but WNRP. Viscous consistency, thick but not oily (compared to Laneige or I'm From Rice toners), hydrates skin and leaves it with a natural glow. Doesn't form a sticky film. I also liked mixing 2 drops of The Ordinary's Pycnogenol 5% into this toner as it's perfect consistency for that, not too watery. Didn't like the bottle. Plus there are other toners that I like more, including the Laneige and I'm From ones (for occasions when I need something really moisturizing) and Numbuzin 1, which is very lightweight and calming. submitted by /u/tanya_reader to r/PanPorn [link] [comments]

Milky/creamy toners and essences for super sensitive skin?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a creamy/milky/hydrating toner that doesn’t break them out? I have super sensitive skin and I’m pretty sure I have fungal acne issues so I tend to avoid a lot of products that are thick and creamy. I can’t tolerate most thick moisturizers. I’ve tried the Byoma one and it gave me cystic acne :( I’ve tried pixi and some other brands not sold here and they all caused acne. I just need some hydrating products!! I’m looking into the Ilia Base Milk, bubble, and thayers!! Any opinions?? submitted by /u/FlashySpring9989 to r/Ulta [link] [comments]

RE:What’s your skincare and makeup secrets?
I just had a baby and started a full skincare routine to try to feel better about myself again and it is working! My skin has never looked better. I use byoma products and a Korean face wash. In the morning I wash my face, then milky toner, vitamin c, lotion, sunscreen. At night I wash, then milky toner, serum, under eye caffeine cream, then lotion.

I'm looking at adding a milky toner into my skincare routine but I'm not sure which one to go with. I'm considering Bubble, Byoma, and Beauty of Joseon. My skin can be combination- its generally OK these days but anything too heavy or oily can cause breakouts. Does anyone have any recommendations for these brands of milk toner?

Moisturizer/milky toner recs that meet A LOT of requirements…
I started adapalene last week and want to take really good care of my barrier through this process. I’m looking for recommendations that do not have: niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, fragrance, shea butter, petrolatum, any other common irritants. it’s a tall order, I know. basically something non problematic and hydrating/moisturizing! this is my current PM routine: cleanse Clinique take the day off balm, then cetaphil cleanser (but running out and plan to replace with prequel gleanser) dieux skin mercy adapalene (every other night) skin mercy AM is water splash + Hypochlorous acid spray + skin mercy + mineral spf. I am thinking about getting the prequel half and half to use under the adapalene instead of two layers of skin mercy. I really like the skin mercy but want something with ceramides (and to make the Dieux last longer!) I previously used Byoma milky toner but my skin didn’t agree with it. would love thoughts and recs!! thanks in advance :) submitted by /u/miss_sponge to r/SkinbarrierLovers [link] [comments]

I cannot believe the difference from 24 days ago thanks to asking for advice!
I came asking for help with all the fine lines on my face and you guys delivered! I didn’t realize just how dehydrated my face was and that I was due for some changes in routine. I wasn’t expecting my skin to change so much already (I’m 33) but clearly I needed some changes! I’m so thankful for this group 🤍 New routine: So I cleanse at night only and then I do all the other steps both morning and night. At night I’ve been slugging with aquaphor but I’ve gone down to only 2-3 days a week for that now. La roche posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser for Dry Skin Milky toner from Paula’s choice The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Hydrating Serum with Ceramides Then at night for moisturizer I’m using CALM Rescue & Repair Intensive Moisturizer Paula’s choice Morning moisturizer is Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer I use DRMTGLY tinted moisturizer with spf but it’s been pilling lately with the new changes so I think I’m going to be on the hunt for another one. Id like to work retinol back in eventually but I’m scared because I think that was one of the products that messed up my barrier in the first place 🤷🏻‍♀️ submitted by /u/weddingaccount060417 to r/30PlusSkinCare [link] [comments]

[Routine Help] Understanding Milky Toners, and what benefit they will have in my current routine? (BYOMA Milky Toner I am thinking of)
Hi all. As I mentioned previously, I am quite new to skin care. I am 40yo male, with (I think lol) combination skin. I don't have issues with acne, or anything, I just want to start and stick to a decent skin care routine. My only issue I still have, is my face does still feel tight in the morning (only the morning). I don't cleanse in the morning, just water. Below is my routine for AM and PM. I am thinking of adding BYOMA milky toner, as a couple people have suggested I try. AM Wash my face with Water COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum TO Hyaluronic Acid Tatcha Dewy Cream Moisturizer Then later on, I will put on CeraVe SPF 30 PM ( It rotates) 5 Nights a week I do... Wash with Glow Recipe Avacado Cleanser Estee Lauder ANR TO Niacinamide YTTP Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Night Cream Then 2 Nights a week I use TO 1% Retinol in Squlance and YTTP Night Cream My Question is. What would adding the BYOMA Milky Toner to my morning routine help with? Or would it make much of a difference based on my current routine? I would thinking of taking out the TO Hyaluronic acid in the morning (there is already lots in the COSRC and TATCHA), and starting my morning routine with BYOMA Milky Toner. I would love to simplify things more, so I though it would be nice to just use the Milky Toner, then COSRCX, then Moisturize in the morning. Thoughts? Advice? Thanks so much! submitted by /u/GeneLow40 to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

Any clean product I can use as a hydrating toner and/or a milky toner?
My GP has said today that I should not use ANYTHING which is scented on my face, while I am trying to resolve this possible seb derm situation. I'm using ketoconazole shampoo on my scalp and Ketoconazole cream on the affected bits of my face. Plus a steroid cream to deal with any itchy areas. I asked how long it takes to repair the skin barrier, like is it one or two months and she said that my skin barrier is not damaged in that way. Basically if you are eczema prone like me (dry sensitive skin type) then you are just always in a losing battle. This is why I should avoid anything perfumed on my face. She originally said, just cleanse (with Dermol lotion**) then apply my moisturiser. I am using Aveeno Dermexa, which my skin is happy with (the Aveeno, I mean). I tried this but it left my skin feeling dry. So I added back in a Byoma skin hydrating spray after cleansing and the Haruharu Black Rice essence. But when I saw the GP today she was like, no, stop using that stuff. No perfume. Just cleanse and put your moisturiser on. *sad face crying* So now my question is: are there any clean, non scented products I could use for 1) a hydrating toner to spray on straight after cleansing to stop my face feeling tight and 2) something to make it feel some moisture before I apply the Aveeno? I thought Byoma would be ok? *more crying\* **I cannot 'wash' with this stuff - it is like trying to wash my face with hair conditioner, so I am using CeraVe cleanser. The gel or the salicyclic acid one. submitted by /u/zipitdirtbag to r/SkincareAddictionUK [link] [comments]

[Product Request] what is the best milky toner?
Hi! I currently use the Rhode glazing milk and I LOVE IT but it’s genuinely always out of stock at my local Sephora and it’s not the CHEAPEST. I just bought the Laniege toner (I am aware it’s more expensive, it was just the one I’ve heard about the most and they actually had it in stock!) but I genuinely hated the way it smelled and would prefer my toner a little thicker. The other two I’m considering are the Haruharu wonder black rice toner which I’ve heard amazing things about & the Byoma milky toner. Any other recommendations for milky toner that layer well with moisturizer and sunscreen! submitted by /u/greengal1008 to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

Why does my foundation always look like this?
I do skin care with fidelity (though I'm open to different products; currently using milky toner, la roche-posay triple repair, and byoma hydrating oil) and I am always sure to match primer and foundation (water vs silicon based). I've tried numerous foundations and primers, from high end to drug store, and they all do this. I do also exfoliate once a week. My shade match is off here, too, but I'm mostly concerned with fixing this weird texture right now. I have tried various application methods and they all end up looking like this; in these pictures, I used a brush for initial application and a damp beauty blender to try to buff everything out afterward. Any tips or insight is very appreciated! Pictures are from various steps in my routine (from just liquid products to powdered down). My nose is a glaringly obvious trouble area, but really the whole face has this issue. (Please ignore the weird little hairs; my brushes always shed.) submitted by /u/Visible-Ad-9834 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Bubble or Byoma Milky Toner?

Thoughts on Byoma Milky Toner?
I see a lot of hype and praises around the Byoma milky toner. I bought it like a month ago and only used it a few times, but I can’t really tell if my skin tolerates it or not. People with normal skin love it but my super sensitive and rosacea prone skin is so picky. Byoma Milky toner has made my skin the best it’s been since my 20’s!!
I have been using Byoma Milky toner for about a month now, and my skin has never been more soft, hydrated and plump since my early 20’s (33 now). Previous I was dealing with my face feeling super tight, rough and irritated as I kept having random bouts of contact dermatitis and left my eyes, forehead, and upper lip scaly, red and dry for several months. I was really upset about this, but kept seeing people talking about this product and thought I may as well give it a go, not giving it much hope. I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or it really is the toner, but I love it and it makes me skin feel so good! This will now be a staple for me! I’ll insert some pictures of my skin since using the toner. submitted by /u/LiverpoolLovely to r/Skincare_Addiction [link] [comments]

What are your favorite milky toners?
I’m always a sucker for any milky skincare product. I’ve tried the below: I’m From Rice Toner: lovely staple toner SkinRxLab Madecera: I don’t mind fragrance and I do really love how moisturizing this is Celimax: love how thick and moisturizing this is. I frequently use throughout the day for extra moisture Haruharu essence: my holy grail. Will forever repurchase. Byoma: fine but nothing great Prequel Half and Half: really liked this but too similar to haruharu to justify both What should I try next? submitted by /u/Powerful_Giraffe2030 to r/koreanskincare [link] [comments]

[review] Byoma milky toner reaction
So I have pretty sensitive skin, I’m dry and acne prone as well. I decided to try out the byoma milky toner because I needed a little extra hydration in my routine and everyone was raving about this product. The first day or two my skin felt great and hydrated, but then it started to burn when I put it on. I felt more red and bumpy but it was happening slowly. I stopped using this and for a few days my skin would still burn when I put on my moisturizer. Eventually my skin went back to normal. Unfortunately it didn’t work for me so just wanted to put my experience out there! submitted by /u/donotdisturb15 to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]

[MISC] Milky Toners 🤍
My new favorite part of skincare. I am obsessed! My new found love. • Ilia is the in between of Rhode and Laneige. • Laneige I bought the pump and use it as a spray to refresh, love the mister! • Rhode I didn’t want to believe the hype but I absolutely love it! It’s the thickest of them all does have a paint smell. • I’m from rice love how my skin soaks it up. • Byoma soothing effects very thin good dupe for Laneige! submitted by /u/snugasabuginarug__ to r/SkincareAddiction [link] [comments]
