Laser printer that can print on 250 GSM cardstock?
Like the title says, I'm looking for a laser printer specifically, I'd need the toner for heat foiling purposes, and would need it to print on at least 250 GSM cardstock. I've spent all day doing research and haven't been able to find anything, and I don't even know if such a printer exists (at least at a reasonable price for home use). If anybody can point me in the right direction, that would be super helpful, thank you! submitted by /u/SittinLikeAShrimpie to r/printers [link] [comments]

Looking for cardstock printer
Hello, I work for a small start up company, we are hoping to do some old-school marketing techniques in the upcoming months to get our business name and services out there. We've previously used printing companies, however we are hoping to transition to an in-office printer that is capable of printing onto 14-16 point cardstock. No real preference for either black and white or full color, just whatever printer works best. We would be printing roughly 2-5000 cards on a monthly basis. Our budget is in the ~1000 ballpark, but can change if need be for a reliable printer. Thank so much! submitted by /u/refriedmango to r/printers [link] [comments]

What type of cardstock do you print on directly?
What type of cardstock do you use to print on directly? I want something with a nice finish that is close ish to actual cards but a bit more matte is fine too. I've been printing on vinyl sticker paper and applying that to cardstock and it works ok but I'm wondering if there's a better option that would save a step. submitted by /u/Cameron_Alistair to r/magicproxies [link] [comments]

I’ve confirmed the best supplier for black core cardstock
Hey guys I wanted to share a post about the paper that was recommended for my canon MF753CDW II last week, I bought it and couldn’t be any happier. I got 800 330gsm black core sheets for $440 and 200 sheets of 300gsm blue core. Much cheaper to buy in bulk from FrenopsLLC over superiorpod. The seller even included some foil cardstock for me to try with my UV printer I just bought. I’m impressed with the paper so far and have had beautiful results with the paper, I’ve provided some pictures of the prints I’ve been getting and couldn’t be any happier with the results. They feel identical to real cards when they are sleeved up in decks. The 300gsm blue core paper works great with the sticker paper method and feel much more like real cards sleeved up vs superiorpods 330 gsm black core paper. Feel free to dm me for questions about my print settings. My phone camera does not do these proxies justice, I realize some of the photos look a little blurry, and it’s cuz my phones camera is trash. Sorry about that. submitted by /u/BerryPsychological75 to r/magicproxies [link] [comments]

Happy Halloween! Finished my papercraft creation for halloween just on time.
Happy Halloween! Finished my papercraft decoration for this year just in time. Glued the witch hat this morning and the cauldron was finished yesterday haha. I am very happy how the whole set turned out. Everything is made from coloured cardstock pages. Designed the models in Blender and made a papercraft template out of them. Cut the parts on the silhouette cameo and glued it all together. Love how it matches with the potion bottles I made last year. What should be added next year? Spellbooks maybe, or a skull? If I start now I will definitly finish it on time! submitted by /u/YumeDesign to r/crafts [link] [comments]

Cardstock Recommendations
Just finished my first proxy deck, and I'm really happy with the quality. I'm printing on vinyl sticker paper and backing with 300gsm/110lbs cardstock, and as you can see, the deck is pretty thick. I've tried thinner cardstock, but the cards don't have the right rigidity and feel in hand. Can anyone recommend cardstock that gets the right thickness/rigidity while just using the vinyl stickers, or is lamination the way to go for thin cards that have the right snap? submitted by /u/leefygreens94 to r/magicproxies [link] [comments]

My direct to cardstock process and results
Hi all, wanted to thank the community here and share my process. I wanted something “passable” for real magic cards but without the need to print onto a sticker and then glue to cardstock (due the the hassle and lack of confidence in combining the sticker and cardstock without air bubbles). I printed directly onto cardstock and then used a cutter and rounder. The pictures I posted look subjectively better in the photos than they do in real life. There’s no glossiness like real magic cards and they feel like dry cardboard (as expected). Overall I’m pretty happy with the result and I’m having fun “printing on demand”. After some practice printing tokens, I went for a full 100 card Cap Am EDH deck. Some details: https://a.co/d/1LDpACV Cutter https://a.co/d/fLuaYmZ edge rounder https://a.co/d/03In3dg Cardstock, 271 gsm https://a.co/d/4WLdo8N Epson ecotank et-2850 Pokemon sleeves 😂 mtgprint.com to generate the pdfs. The “high” quality setting resulted in print lines and luckily there was more setting above that resulted in no print lines. submitted by /u/Weird_Efficiency_245 to r/magicproxies [link] [comments]

Cardstock Printer Recommendation!
Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation to replace our current home all-in-one. We have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 - which has actually been great, and overall we really like it. The one issue we're having is that it's terrible to print cardstock. This is a problem for my wife who really enjoys crafting, and struggles trying to print anything on card. So, I'm looking for recommendations. I'm very tech-savvy but finding it very hard to find good printer reviews. I really just want the best overall printer - budget isn't a huge consideration. However, it's really hard to compare between models. I've been looking at the Epson ET-15000 or ET-8550, but trying to figure out cardstock capabilities has been difficult. Must Have: - Great cardstock printing - flexibility of material types, unlikely to jam, etc - 12" x 12" printing capability (for printing direct to a full size sheet to cut on Cricut) Nice to Have: - All-In-One - we can live without a scanner, but if we're not sacrificing elsewhere, I'd like a scanner+ADF - 13" x 9" printing - EcoTank or similar - we have an Epson SureColor F170 for sublimation printing and I really like the EcoTank system Thanks in advance - please let me know if I've missed anything! submitted by /u/strategic_upvote to r/printers [link] [comments]
