Maybe try a small dog crate (so it’s roomier than a cat carrier) and put some blankets in there and see if you can get her to sleep in there in your room. I haven’t had a cat since I was very small so I’m not sure how to curb the jumping into things.

No, surgery cannot be done in your home. Take your cat to the vet in a carrier. I promise they have successfully handled cats that are more fearful than yours and there will not be a problem. If needed, they can sedate your cat in the carrier, or may give you a tranquilizer to administer at home before you bring him.

No, surgery cannot happen any place other than the vet's office.  Your cat will have to go in a carrier to the vet.  If your cat is in a carrier, they won't run away or ruin the clinic.

Puppy pads, great idea, should have thought of them as I always place one in cat carrier when taking cat to vet.
