It Cosmetics Do It All Sheer Tint Face Balm VS. It Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow?
Anyone tried both of these products? I'm especially interested in hearing from folks with that experience. But, if you only have experience with one, that's great, too. I really like the It Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow. Especially being in the mature skin category (fine, I admit it!), having dry'ish skin (but with a touch of oiliness in the T-zone); wanting nothing that feels remotely heavy, tacky, sticky, nor drying or matte; wanting a subtle glow -- not full on shiny/dewy illumination. But I'm generally seeking lighter coverage. You know, still letting some of my natural skin color/character show through. Occasionally, building up to medium is great, but not what I'm going for day-to-day. I end up using the It Cosmetics Do It All Concealer Stick on my spots that require a little more coverage than the CC+ provides. I find the CC+ Nude Glow handles this 'ask' very well, but, it can also very quickly and suddenly go from light coverage to medium coverage.. just by using the slightest bit too much of the product. Given the marketing copy, I'm getting the impression that the Do It All Sheer Tint Face Balm might be more forgiving and be easier to maintain at the lighter coverage level. But, that's marketing copy. I want to hear from actual people who've used the product(s). I know the CC+ has more attributes/benefits (like the SPF), but that's not of concern to me. I do plenty of skincare and don't rely upon a light foundation for my sun protection. Likes/dislikes? Application ease -- finger, blender, sponge, brush? Coverage? How did it feel on the skin? Glow/luminosity? Finish? Wear test? Shade matching? I use... Sheer to Light "My Skin, But Better" Skin Tints for Mature Skin?
I'm being a bit of a Goldilocks, but here's what I'm on the hunt for... ...a skin-tint product that... Has Sheer to light coverage Still lets some of your natural skin color/character come through Gives that natural, skin-like, "my skin, but better" appearance Is mature-skin friendly (nothing matte, chalky, drying) Feels like a skincare/makeup hybrid Has a natural, satiny glow -- a little dewiness/glow is fine -- but nothing shiny Layers beautifully atop moisturizer and a "main" SPF like Beauty of Joseon Has a good variety of shades (I'm a medium tan who probably leans to neutral or warm undertones) Can have SPF (but this is not a deal breaker) I do feel like cosmetics brands these days are using some terms interchangeably and inconsistently. I used "skin tint" in a very broad way to cover this whole category. I don't really care if it's called a skin tint, a tinted moisturizer, a tinted spf, a sheer foundation, a lightweight BB balm or CC cream, a serum foundation, complexion perfector, a skin veil / veil foundation etc. ... as long as it fulfills the brief, above. (Did I miss any names?) In my limited experience, I've found two products I like so far with a couple of caveats: Dr. Jart Premium BB+ pretty much fulfills all of the brief, except, even a small amount quickly looks like medium coverage. As such, I think it starts to get too "foundation perfect" for my taste and nearly totally masks any of my natural color beneath. It's definitely going to be my go-to when I want more coverage. It Cosmetics CC+ Nude Glow also fulfills this brief nicely, but, while not to the extent of Dr. Jart's, it, too, can go from light coverage to full-on medium coverage with just the smallest amount of product. If anyone has personal experience with any of these products, please let me know, but don't limit yourself to this list: Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer Kosas BB Burst Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint Hourglass Veil Skin Tint Saie Slip Tint SPF 35 Summer Fridays Sheer Skin Tint Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer Typology Tinted Serum Rose Inc Skin Enhance Luminous Tinted Serum Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint Tower 28 SunnyDays SPF 30 Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint Armani Golden Hour 24HR Lightweight Skin Tint submitted by /u/HorseTearz to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Alternatives to IT Cosmetics - CC Natural Matte
Hello! I have been using the IT Costmetics CC Natural Matte cream (shade fair) for a while, and even though I love how it wears, I've been finding it really thick. So far I have been mixing it with a Natio tinted moisturiser and that has been working alright, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend products that are similar to the IT cosmetics one, good for combo skin and are medium or buildable coverage while being a little thinner? I was thinking of trying the serum foundation from The Ordinary, but the first time I ordered it, it was crazy orange, and I haven't tried reordering in a different shade yet. Thanks in advance for your help! submitted by /u/noteworthysunrise to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Light-Medium Olive Foundation Swatches
Lately, I’ve been on somewhat of a mission to find the absolute closest out of the bottle foundation match(es) for my light-medium warm olive skin that would not require any mixing or color correction. After months of pouring over threads here and in other olive subs to compile a list of shades that were frequently recommended, I’ve finally collected a fairly comprehensive collection of samples to compare and wanted to share the results. The first few photos include swatches of all 40 shades I wanted to compare together. The following photos show the 8 shades I consider the closest to my skin tone swatched on both my forearm and jaw. I tried to include some examples of different types of lighting. A list of each of the products that were swatched is included below. Hopefully this helps those of you who are still trying to find your perfect match(es)! Comparable dewy look CC/BB cream with SPF that is cheaper than IT cosmetics?!
I recently hopped on the SPF always bandwagon (ugh, so late, but better late than never) with the IT cosmetics Nude Glow 40SPF CC cream. It's provides a bit of coverage and a dewy look and was available in as many shades as foundation. I am totally in love with it. But it's pricey and I don't want that to subconsciously affect how often I reapply it. I'd love to find a cheaper option so I can go nuts with reapplication. Looking for... Dewy finish Good for dry skin Light-Medium coverage Available in a wide range of shades SPF at least 30, preferably higher Drugstore price point! Anyone have suggestions?! submitted by /u/willowtr33 to r/CanSkincare [link] [comments]

Foundation recommendation similar to It CC+ Cream
I've been using the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream/Foundation for years, but I'm afraid I'm missing out on something that works better for me, so I'm looking for foundation recommendations that are similar but... better? What I love about my current foundation: The shade I found is perfect, and the way it goes on works great for my skin. Not to dry, not to oily, no creasing, etc. The SPF is nice, but not always necessary for me because I have a great sunscreen option. What I don't love about it: My days are long, and by the end of the day I feel like it's 90% gone, even with a setting spray and primer. What I'm looking for: A full coverage foundation with a natural to slightly matte finish, that will last all day and maybe provide slightly "more" than the CC+ cream. My skin is pretty normal, but slightly acne-prone. submitted by /u/kmillieee to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

it Cosmetics CC nude glow dupe?
I love this nude glow cc cream in shade medium. The shade is perfect (not orange) and it’s a good amount of hydration for my aging, dry skin. It gives me a little glow and the coverage is good (I could even be happy with sheerer coverage). I just like to even out my skin tone a bit and give myself a dewy glow. Unfortunately, it breaks me out! I get painful acne on my cheeks the day after or night of using it. It could be the spf, as I’m sensitive. I actually prefer something without spf so I can control which I’m using. Any recommendations for a dupe for color match and hydration/glow? Price doesn’t matter much. If no spf, even better. Drug store brands okay! I’ll try anything that works. Thanks! submitted by /u/somebodyheartme to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Looking for IT CC+ Cream Alternatives.
I have been using the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream (oil free matte) for about 2 years now in the shade Fair. It's the best foundation I have ever used but it's also the first (and only) non drugstore foundation I've ever used. I love doing big grand makeup but recently I've been doing my makeup significantly less and I've found that when I try to do a simple look, the foundation is out of place. I typically would use full coverage foundation all the time but I have come to realize that that might be part of the problem. I really do love this foundation and I plan to continue to use for when I go out or want to do a more dramatic look. But having something toned down for day-to-day use or for work would be great. Can anyone recommend something a little softer? Maybe medium or light-medium coverage. IT Cosmetics CC Nude Glow help
Hello! So I absolutely love It cosmetics CC products. My go to summer foundation is their illuminating CC cream. I bought this one for winter and I absolutely hate it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. It literally… doesn’t stick to my skin. I have tried waiting longer after applying my skin care. I switched out a brush for a sponge. I held off on serums and did just my moisturizer. Nothing seems to help, has anyone else had this issue with this product? If not, and you love it, do you want it? I will ship it to you for free. I bought it from ulta, and refuse to return it since they just throw it in the trash. I believe the shade is fair light. submitted by /u/jalapenoblonde89 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Glossier g8 to IT Cosmetics CC cream ✨
Hi! I’m a Glossier g8, ready for a little bit more coverage and sun protection and about to order the IT CC cream spf 50 for the first time - but unsure what shade to get. If you have any experience with it would you please be able to tell me what the correct shade match is? Medium / Medium Neutral or Medium Tan? I worry the undertones in the medium tan shade might be orange instead of golden/olive, it’s so hard to tell online 😐 (I’m a C3/C4 in the MAC face & body foundation // wear Armani Luminous Silk foundation in 6.5 in the summer, slightly dark for me in the winter but I can make it work). Any help very much appreciated, thank you in advance 🌷 submitted by /u/Indigo_222 to r/glossier [link] [comments]

Does anyone have swatches of the IT Cosmetics CC cream?
I'm eyeballing the giftset on sale at Sephora for BF but I'm between getting the shade Fair and Light. As I recall Fair was too light for me but Light was way too dark, especially after it oxidized but this was a few years ago. Any swatches or opinions? Does it still oxidize? How red is the "warm" undertone as most of the shades seem to be? I kind of want to try it even though all signs point to stay away! The only shade I can say I wear and like is Colourpop tinted moisturizer in 5N or Light Neutral and the Neutrogena Tinted Moisturizer in Fair... All my other medium+ coverage foundations no longer work as I've been inside all year and am an unknown shade atm LOL I'm usually a fair/light neutral generally, can maybe make cool work. It Cosmetics - CC cream help
Hi! I am a 27yo, very fair skinned female. I currently use Kat Von D’s Lock It Foundation due to redness caused by broken capillaries on my right cheek, however I also have fine lines around my mouth (that I have recently started treating with The Ordinary’s Retinoid in 2%) and I’ve found that the heavy coverage foundation really collects in these lines no matter what I do. I’ve been looking at It Cosmetic’s CC cream and was wondering how other people found this, particularly with covering redness and not accentuating fine lines. Is anyone able to share their thoughts? I’ve considered their Bye Bye Redness cream for the problem area re redness as the rest of my skin tone is fine, but I’m in the U.K. and can only find it in the medium shade when I’d definitely need the lightest :( Thanks in advance! submitted by /u/gogo__yubari to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

TMO: It Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream (possibly the Matte version)
Price/Budget: $38 for the item. Why do you want this specific item?: I am looking for my HG foundation and I have heard awesome reviews about this especially for my desired level of coverage and undertones. What comparable items do you have in your collection?: MAC Studio Fix NW10 (wayyy too light probably NW15-NW20 now due to working in sun). Tarte Tarteguard tinted moisturizer in Light (almost panned. ~1 week left. part of Pan project). Maybelline Dream BB Fresh in 110 Light/Medium Have you tested it out in person?: No. The closest store to do so is over an hour away. So I could do it but not until I go into town in about a week. What is making you pause/create a TMO in the first place?: I am on a replacement only no-buy, and technically this isn’t a replacement because I do have a BB cream to use once my TarteGuard runs out. I haven’t gotten to test to be certain what color I am yet but I’m willing to bet it’s light/medium. Edit- Final Verdict: after posting a TMO and taking a 20 minute breather to just play with my makeup I decided to tentatively add it to my wishlist. I’m going to get a sample the next time I’m around a Sephora to see if it’ll be my plan for after I’m done with all other foundations. Some comments lead me to believe it’ll get kicked off the list though. Thanks for talking me down friends. :) submitted by /u/MrsMaryJaneFox to r/MakeupRehab [link] [comments]

Opinions on It Cosmetics CC cream
I wanted this for soooo long! Finally purchased and tried it and wasn’t very impressed.... there’s so much hype on this product I don’t understand. I’m going to try just using my hands to apply it next time. I’m wondering if it’s because I went from using Born This Way foundation.. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ submitted by /u/Blue_Dreamzz to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

Any opinions on IT cosmetics cc+ cream?
Has anyone bought their cc+ cream? I have combination, sometimes oily skin, and wanted to know what yall thought of it! update for anyone reading this in the future: I got the sample sized one. It applies and blends BEAUTIFULLY. But it broke me out in small red and white zits the next day :( submitted by /u/kitkat1313 to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]

FINALLY picked up It Cosmetics CC and am very disappointed. What to try next?
After more than a month of wanting to try It's CC cream (because I'd heard/seen so much good about it) I finally had to money to get it... And I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a non-drugstore foundation/CC. I've applied it with both a Beauty Blender and a dense stippling brush, but I can't get anything more than medium coverage, whereas the description said it was full coverage. It won't "stick" to blemishes, yet it's clinging like heck to the very slight dry patches around my mouth and the top of my nose. It's not covering up any redness either:( Revlon Colorstay works better than this stuff. Since I have to go back to Ulta to return it, any suggestions of what I should try next? I need FULL coverage (I have melasma, some acne scarring, and dark spots) with a natural, satin, or slightly matte finish that will last all day. I really like the idea of a CC or BB that will help lighten scars and dark spots, but it's not a requirement. My skin is currently dry in some areas and getting back to normal/oily in others (recently came off a birth control that really messed with my skin, so my hormones are a little wacky). submitted by /u/TangiestIllicitness to r/MakeupAddiction [link] [comments]
