Fragen: Kennt jemand ernsthafte Tests zur Latenz? Hab einige YT Videos gesehen wo erzählt wird das man es nicht merkt. Aber so ein richtigen technischen Test habe ich leider nicht gefunden. - Die Soundbar (keine Ahnung von den Dingern, bisher 2 aktive Lautsprecher mit Cinch) wo steckt man die an? Oder ist die auch kabellos?

I expect there are lots of posts on Cinch, the one I read was not complimentary and neither is this one. I care for my nonagenarian parents most of the time and I need to buy a new car. They obviously cannot drive me to pick up a vehicle so we attempted to buy a car from this company. They refused to deliver to my parents address for £199 but offered to deliver it to a "nearby" garage £45 taxi ride away. They also offered to charge me £300 for this service. I know there have been a lot of people who have bought cars from Cinch and had issues, posting about them here, but has anyone had any experience with Cinch advertising features that didn’t come with the car? I just bought (in cash, not finance) a 2020 Audi A3 S Line and specifically chose this car because it was advertised as having the comfort and sound pack. I wanted the heated seats and reversing camera. I picked up my car after taking a train to their superstore and did a basic check, looking at things like tyre wear levels, scratches, and whether I had the locking nut, etc. Everything seemed fine. I even turned it on, had a quick check of the infotainment screen, saw no issues, so I signed the paperwork and drove off. It was only when I stopped at a service station to park and refill my tyres (more on that later) that I noticed the car didn’t show a reversing camera when I put it into reverse. I then had a deeper look at the car’s features and realised there was no way to turn on heated seats. The whole reason I pulled into the service station was because I got an alert for low tyre pressure. The car is meant to be at 36 PSI, and they gave it to me with the tyres between 21 and 25 PSI! Surely tyres are meant to be filled before selling, especially at a dealership? When I got back and checked what the comfort and sound pack includes, the main features are… heated seats and a reversing camera. I’m going to phone customer service tomorrow to see what they can do, but I’m curious if other people have had a similar experience and how they resolved it. I’ve been trying to buy a car now for about a week and no dealers accept credit cards because of the 3.5% transaction fee. Cinch say that they accept all major credit cards however their cars are usually £500 more expensive than auto to traders top end evaluation. If I buy a card with no interest for 24 months on a credit card and I can pay this off, it will save me a lot of money over the 14.9% APR seen with most car finance deals. I’ve also seen that cinch offers car tire warranty for 36 months. It cost £35 a month for 10 months so the total cost here is £350. You can have a maximum of 15 tyres on the policy and the tyres can be up to £300 each. This seems like a bargain, but is it too good to be true? **Disclaimer that I think this absolutely should go with sheer black tights and some black shorts, the thigh highs are a stand in.** However, I disagree about the cinch. I think it’s disturbs the lines of the garment, it’s meant to be oversized. On Friday 9th May I bought a car paying in full with the delivery date set as Thursday 15th May. I was sceptical of buying a car online but reassured by positive "reviews" I went ahead. I took the day off work and the driver turned up at the agreed time and showed me around the car. I was thinking that the valet was pretty poor with dirt on the centre console and dirty water streak marks thoughout the inside but nothing a quick wipe wouldnt sort out. Then the driver said "you know about the windscreen dont you?"... "No..." I replied as i looked over and saw the large chip and small crack. The driver went on to explain that he had been told by two people that I had been informed about it and that Cinch would repair it as part of after care. I asked for it to be in writing before he left to ensure it would be fixed. We called customer service and after being on hold for what seemed like ages finally someone ansered. They informed us that there was no record of it. (Good job i called it in whilst the driver was still there.) The driver informed me that he had sent an email 2 hours earlier regarding the crack and 2 different people at Cinch had confirmed that I knew and aftercare was sorting it. Aftercare didnt even know about it... After more than an hour being on the phone Cinch decided that the delivery would be aborted and that they would be taking the car back. Furthermore they couldnt provide me with a timeline for re-delivery, they wouldnt be willing to provide a courtesy car as one was not available until 30th May. (As they are part of the largest second hand car group of companies in England this was obviously an excuse for them to not provide one). I asked if i can get the windowscreen fixed and for Cinch to pay for it, this was not an option. I asked for them to just refund me a small amount off the purchase price and I would accept the responsibility, this wasnt an option either. So Cinch have a significant amount of my money, have taken my car back, they cant tell me when they will bring it back and wont offer a hire car in the mean time... I have also wasted a day of my life waiting around for them when they could have called me 2 hours before I arrived to say there was an issue and it wouldnt be delivered. I have to ask if the crack was so bad that the couldnt leave it with me, why was the driver alowed to take it in the first place, why would they have left it with me if I hadnt of insisted on calling customere service before the driver left? My experience with Cinch has been absolutely disgraceful. After purchasing a car for over £17,000 — arranging insurance, paying tax, buying security equipment, and taking out a bank loan — I was casually informed just hours before the scheduled delivery that the vehicle had been sold to someone else. This was despite 11 days of repeated assurances from their staff that my order was complete and any earlier “technical issues” had been resolved. I had even gone through a confusing “vehicle swap” process beforehand — another system failure they clearly couldn’t manage properly. Because of Cinch’s gross incompetence, I was left severely out of pocket, wasted days of my time, lost earnings from taking time off work, and had to cancel crucial family plans — including hospital appointments for my pregnant wife. Their token refund offer barely covers the immediate costs, and does nothing to compensate for the serious disruption and stress they caused. Worse still, they made false promises to help me find a replacement vehicle — promises they never honoured. After weeks of complete silence from their end, I had to source a nearest equivalent vehicle myself — and when I found one (£600 more expensive than the original car they sold out from under me), Cinch refused to match the difference. Cinch’s customer service agents might be polite on the phone, but the reality behind the scenes is a company with unreliable systems, broken processes, and absolutely no sense of responsibility once they’ve made a mistake. I trusted Cinch because of their strong reputation — a decision I bitterly regret. I strongly urge anyone considering using Cinch to think very carefully. The risks are far greater than the marketing would have you believe. Why YSK: After seeing multiple posts about dog attacks and people in the comments giving absolutely terrible advice, you should know the only proven way to stop a dog attack is by oxygen deprivation. Using a spare lead, pass the rope or cord under the attacking dog’s neck, then pass it through the loop and cinch it tight like a noose. Hold it until the dog releases it’s target either for air or until it passes out. Do not use your hands to try to pry the dog’s mouth open. Do not try to make loud noises as it will likely heighten the attacking dog. Do not try to use your own body to attempt to subdue the dog whether by holding it down or trying to choke it yourself. For god sake don’t stick your finger up it’s butt. The only way is to force the dog to try to breathe by depriving it of oxygen. Edit: This is advice for a dog attacking another dog or animal. If you suspect a dog may attack you try get up high like on a car. If the attack is imminent, cross your arms against your chest & try to maintain your stance & hope it loses interest. After an accident (not my fault) in January that wrote off my car in January, I wanted a simple purchase for my replacement car. I have always found the hard-sale at dealerships/garages stressful, so made a very bad decision to use Cinch based off a good review from a friend. Their website states, 'Cars without the Faff', but it is anything but. If you have an issue of any kind, you will have to deal with one of the worst customer care teams I've ever dealt with. The car was due for delivery on the Monday AM. I had booked the morning off work, but got a call at 8.30 to say the car had a flat and they'd be back in touch in the morning. I received a call at 10.30 to say the driver was on his way. Nearly 2 hours later, there was no driver so I attempted to call them. No answer, for an hour and a half. In that time, the driver text me to say there was a mistake and he had rang the wrong customer. No further communication. I was still on hold to their call centre, and no one on WhatsApp was responding with any helpful information. After hours, I got through to a Manager who 'could help', who proceeded to give me an update to say the car wasn't going to be delivered today, but couldn't tell me when it would. After a long discussion, he agreed to arranging a hire car, of which he arranged for the wrong day, leaving me to organise myself to get it done right. It wasn't until the Friday that I was told that my car would be delivered 7 days later on the Thursday. During this time, I had barely any updates, and when I did chase, all I got was they were waiting for an update. The Manager who was 'helping me', kept on telling me he would call with an update. Those calls rarely ever came and when they did, he provided false information. This included being told that they could be delivered to my workplace, but that was rescinded due to a 'change of policy'. This was ultimately agreed, after a lot of back and forth and all should have been well. On the Monday (1 week after delivery), they messaged me to tell me the car wouldn't be delivered on the timeslot they advised, due to lack of drivers. They then messaged to state that they couldn't deliver to my workplace. They also tried to recall the hire car they had begrudgingly arranged for me, because I had it 'too long'. Luckily another car with the spec I wanted came up at a local garage, so I cancelled my order. The refund was arranged extremely quickly, which leads me to believe they were happy to get the order cancelled, and likely the car was never going to be delivered. Since I have been trying to get compensation for my time, not only for the day off work I had to take, but also the time I spent trying to get information from them. They have offered after 7 weeks of dealing with my complaint, a measly £20 gesture of goodwill. Of course however, their trustpilot team have been in touch to try get me to remove my review. Every single person I spoke to was entirely undertrained and unwilling to help. Their attitude and lack of responsibility at Cinch is a huge problem and all you have to do is look at their negative reviews on TrustPilot and Twitter to see that they have issues. If you get a good experience, then great, but if there is even a small issue before/after delivery of the car, their team is completely unprepared and unwilling to help. Do not risk it!
