Anyways, I am so overcome with glee, I cannot sleep so I have been up all night ordering car trinkets from Alibaba. Now that I have spent more money than I am willing to admit, I want to at least spend my money on something useful for my car. What accessories under $50 dollars should I get? I want them to be slightly useful. I have already bought too many pretty things and I want to at least be productive. I Think the Man in Yellow Has Been Hiding in Plain Sight Since Episode 1
I’ve been rewatching From and I started wondering if Trudy might secretly be far more important than she seemed... my theory is the following maybe she was the MiY. At first it sounds ridiculous, but there are a surprising number of details that start lining up on a rewatch: - She appears extremely early in the show, already in Episode 1. - She immediately becomes fascinated with Jade after the crash. While Ellis carries unconscious Jade inside, Trudy focuses on how unusual the two-car arrival is. - After Ellis stops her from stealing Jade’s watch, she still stays behind watching him sleep. - She has a compulsive habit of stealing and collecting clothes/accessories. When Julie says she owns the same shirt, Trudy casually admits she took it from Julie’s suitcase. - She seems obsessed with objects and identity. She even says objects deserve names because they’re important. Her blanket being named “Meredith” feels oddly specific, almost like it belonged to someone else originally. -She repeatedly appears during apparently insignificant scenes that later feel meaningful scenes. Example: when Jade is wandering around with the radio trying to think, Trudy suddenly appears and says she watched him sleep because he was “cute.” The interaction feels strangely manipulative and almost as if she understood more than she should. - Her personality can be passive-aggressive and emotionally manipulative like Sophia now. Exemple at Fatima’s party, she tells Fatima that she knows nobody likes her, then reacts ominously when Fatima says she’ll eventually have her own celebration too. - Her favorite item eventually becomes the yellow sweater Fatima gives her. Even before that, she was already constantly wearing a yellow bandana, which makes the repeated yellow symbolism around her feel more intentional in hindsight. -We never fully see her die onscreen. We later see a mutilated body, but the Man in Yellow appears capable of distorting flesh and appearance, so I’m not sure that fully proves anything. - Since she lived in Colony House, now after ep5 season 4 that she had access to the underground tunnel system beneath the town. This could have allowed her to use the power of the voices while staying close to Sara, even if she remained hidden. - Sara mostly stops hearing voices after Season 1 except in the forest, which makes me wonder if the entity behind the voices could no longer move freely through town. Overall, Trudy feels like the kind of character the show intentionally makes annoying and forgettable so viewers never look too closely at her. Maybe none of this means anything. But on rewatch, her scenes feel oddly deliberate — especially the focus on stolen objects, identity, observation, and the yellow clothing symbolism. submitted by /u/E_Effe to r/FromSeries [link] [comments]

Car Mirror Accessories
Heyo! I'm currently working on a comic where the male lead is a New Zealand immigrant (Maori) in America and I like adding small little details when I can so I was wondering if there is something specific he could hang from his car mirror that he maybe brought with him? its set in the 90s. I thought about just a cute little kiwi necklace. right now I have drawn lei kukui but I wasn't sure if that would be weird? it doesn't have to be super meaningful, just a cool nod to NZ or Maori related. He's a big beach guy and likes surfing if that helps any. I try to watch videos to try and pick up on some stuff but this is very specific I guess so i thought id ask! lmao Thank you! submitted by /u/averagehyena to r/newzealand [link] [comments]

Should I spend money on non-essential accessories for my car?
I’m planning to buy a car soon, and while looking around, I’ve noticed some really nice car accessories — like ambient lights and cute little decorations. Technically, they’re not essentials, but I can’t help liking them. Since I don’t have a car yet, I’d love to ask those of you who do — do these kinds of non-essential accessories actually make a difference when you drive? Budget-Friendly Christmas Hacks for Parents trying to keep the magic alive on a budget.
I have 3 kids and have lived on a VERY tight budget for many years. I know many parents are feeling the weight of the holiday season this year, so I wanted to share some tips I've gathered over the years. Wrap thrifted items in gift boxes: You can make thrifted items seem "new" if they're in a gift box. Thrifted doll with accessories, legos, toy cars, etc can all be arranged nicely in a gift box. For older kids, clothes, room decor, tech gadgets can all be put in a pretty gift box too. I've wrapped play food, doll clothes, and plastic dinosaurs in gift boxes and my kids are none-the-wiser that they were thrifted. They just thought Santa was making them look Christmasy in a themed box. You can also make a "basket of gifts" or "tub of gifts" where all items are out of their package, but organized in a play tub or cute basket. This works great for dress-up items, baby toys, building blocks, etc. You can easily find used books that look brand new and are very very cheap. Check the inside cover for writing. And then wrap em' up. You can make lightly used board games seem new by wrapping cards and loose pieces in a bit of plastic wrap to seem like they are "packaged". Dollar Tree can fill in gaps. They're great for stocking stuffers and have some large-ish coloring pads, room decor, and toys that can be wrapped to "buff up" under the tree. Items you NEED to buy can be turned into gifts. Time for a new toothbrush? Get a cute character one and now it's special. Need a new bookbag? Now it's a Christmas gift. Sports equipment, hygiene items, winter gear, etc can all be gifts. You can create your own "kit" from cheaper items. Make a craft kit yourself for way cheaper than you can buy a premade one with random craft supplies. Spa kit, sensory bin, play-doh kit (thrifted cookie cutters, dishware, etc is great for this), construction kit, etc. Buy online EARLY. PRICES GO UP CLOSER TO CHRISTMAS. Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy- all of these places have supply and demand issues near Christmas and independent sellers on those platforms will exploit this and raise prices. If financially feasible, throughout the next year buy clearance priced items and stow them away for gifts the following Christmas. Buy toys in January, winter gear and clothing in April, summer sports equipment in the fall, pool toys/ outside play things in the fall. Blankets can be very cheap thrifted, can come in cute designs, can look practically new, and are easy to throw in a cheap gift bag. If you purchase a large item, used, without a box- instead of trying to wrap it, have it set up by Santa. Doll house, race car track, small furniture, etc. It just looks like Santa took it out of the box for them. For cleaning old plastic toys; hot water and a rag will get most stickers off. Dollar Tree also sells small bottles of "Goo Gone" to get residue off. A magic eraser also cleans many items. For sets of toys, like building blocks, they can often be run through the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. Doll clothes and plush toys can be washed in a washing machine and dried on low heat. Using fabric softener will keep plush toys soft. submitted by /u/mamadoedawn to r/Frugal [link] [comments]

The whole Indian people thing. MUST READ.
I don't usually bring anything up, but at this point, I kind of have to. PS to moderators: this post is to educate not HATE, thx bye TL DR at the bottom - this is a long post. Listen, I know you don't care about what goes on back in India blah blah - BUT - from my life experience as an Indian girl who was born and raised in Italy and lives in Edmonton since a few years - I would like to know the shit that goes on wherever I'm at. Not because I care, but, because if I was in the Caribbean I would like to know tf is going on around me, just in case. I saw this post addressing the Bishnoi thing, if you haven't read about it it's about people in Edmonton having stickers on cars with "Bishnoi" or something like that. I haven't seen it yet despite living in SE (which if you don't know there's lots of us Indians there) Let me clarify, that sticker is bad. Not the "Punjab stickers", not the hyundai Elantra, not the Khanda you see dangling from the rear mirror, not the lifted jeeps, not the dangling fabric things from the front/rear of cars. Oh, and, the AK-47 stickers - those are just stupid kids. Who is the Bishnoi gang, and why are they considered dangerous? The Bishnoi gang is a notorious international criminal syndicate led by Lawrence Bishnoi, an Indian gangster currently imprisoned since around 2014–2015, yet still believed to direct operations from behind bars The gang is implicated in severe crimes such as extortion, murder, shootings of celebrities, and political assassinations, including the 2022 killing of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, allegedly ordered by the gang to avenge another murder In Canada, the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and other officials have documented extortion schemes, threats, shootings, and violence linked to individuals claiming affiliation with the Bishnoi gang across British Columbia, Ontario, and Albert The gang allegedly extends its influence through fear tactics targeting wealthy members of the South Asian community—some victims reportedly paid millions in extortion money to “avoid harm” About the Bishnoi thing, they target people that are Sikh mostly - us Sikh are NOT catching a break LMAO from 9/11 accusations to these days JEETS, PREETS jokes, damn it. But all good, let me move on - I know you don't care but I see how frustrated people are getting with not understanding what is going on in their country, mind you a guy on the other reddit post said Bishnoi sounds like the name of a good Indian restaurant. You all are clueless!!! Rightfully so, because how would you know? Worry not, I'm here to address it. Let me help you in understanding - if you want to hate, go ahead I don't care but I'm a curious person and I would like to know what's going on in my town and in my f country. Lemme tell you my story, I speak over 5 languages so don't mind the English. From the 80s till early 2000s lots of my people, specifically from Punjab, moved in countries like Canada, USA, and other Europeans country. Let me tell you - we worked f hard. I moved here with my family from Italy a decade ago with $90k. We lost all of our money to immigration frauds - we didn't know what people were capable of just for money. When we didn't speak the language we got closer to our people (Indians) who would f* us up the most. Lesson learned - we moved on to not trust easily my own people. We got our PR and eventually our dual citizenship by working hard, and we love being part of this country because let's be honest - it's a great country. Now, let me tell you about most other Indian people - just like many of you thought at least once to move to...idk... Florida or the Caribbean (whatever yk). It's hard, isn't it? YES TF it is. Many of my people - did that and do it by working very hard. But... let's be honest, lots of recent immigrants haven't been very caring or disciplined as to what moving to a first world country is like - and - I'll get to that in my next point. A lot of the people who moved in the past had little to no money - they would be here with so little and built great relationships. I read all the time about great experiences you all had in the past - but the new batch of immigrants (as I like to call it) - they've been weird - tough to assimilate. Not sure what is causing that but in India they idealize Canada as a big achievement and when they're here the ego goes crazy. They're going to ruin their lives and go back - I am sure of it and I have seen many cases as that. Play with fire and eventually... you'll get burned. To be in such country is a great opportunity. Let's hope they do not ruin your life while ruining theirs. Next. The fraud thing - I'll be honest, Indians like to hack the system. They always think there's a way around everything and that's because many parts of India are like that but HEY NO EXCUSE for all the fraudulent school acceptance letters, working under cash, applying for franchises with fabricated financials is economically wrong but most importantly it's morally wrong. This is being tackled more and more by the Gov. these days as it should. I do not want this to take away from the real hard working Indians. But - it's hard because how can you differentiate? As an Indian myself - I struggle too. I can't imagine a white person trying to differentiate. Lastly, I want to break down lots of curious mind about car accessories I've seen, the below are harmless - I know they stick out a lot but it's just a thing my people find "cute"/"cool": Khanda: it looks something like this ☬ - just like Christian people have a cross this is the symbol of Sikh faith - lots of Sikh in fact have that on their car as either a sticker or perhaps rear view accessory Turban guy sticker: it's Sidhu MooseWala which is the Tupac of Punjab. Great guy, he was killed in 2022 by being shot like Tupac. He put Punjab on a map, he is a great singer. Why they would have him on a car - not sure but I'm here just to tell you meanings LMAO Dangling "cords" front/rear: Indian people are very suspicious, this is just a evil eye protector. Usually goes on nicer cars because those would get an evil eye. Some put it on Honda or whatever and tbh I'm not mad, if they worked hard for it - go for it. Hyundai elantra and lifted jeeps: these seems to be common cars driven by us indians. Jeeps resemble a car that's in India called Mahindra Thar - hence why people seem to buy it. Elantra seem to be affordable and the newer models if the logo is taken out and the car blacked out can easily pass for a more luxurious car to the passing eye. Similar to how some other asians seem to love really old Suzukis/Toyotas. Go for it. "Punjab/Panjab stickers: just a dude proud of where he's from. He can't earn bread back in Punjab so he's here working. Most likely sends money back home to support family. AK47 stickers: just stupid PB3, PBX3 (number variations PB8) etc: that's just the district they're from in Punjab. Each number correlates to a city. Edited to make it better with the help of comments and chat GPT. :) Condensed TLDR via Chat GPT Not here to hate — just here to explain. I’m an Indian Sikh woman, born in Italy, living in Edmonton. I saw people asking about those “Bishnoi” stickers on cars — FYI, it’s not just a cultural thing. It’s linked to a criminal gang in India known for violence, especially against Sikhs. It’s not the same as: • Khanda (☬) – Sikh faith symbol • Sidhu Moosewala stickers – Tribute to a Punjabi artist • Dangling cords – Evil eye protectors • PB/Punjab stickers – Just regional pride • AK-47 stickers – Just dumb flexes A lot of newer immigrants are cutting corners and messing things up for the rest of us who worked hard to build a life here. It’s frustrating, even for us. I just want people to know what’s going on in their city. If you didn’t know before, now you do. submitted by /u/-live-and-let-live- to r/Edmonton [link] [comments]

Car Accessories Shops
Hi everyone :) Where do you all buy your car accessories other than Super Cheap Auto? A quick google showed up some other stuff but I don't know what's actually reputable and what's drop-shipped rubbish. I'm not talking like, intense mechanical overhauls or anything. I'm not interested in touching my engine or other functional parts. I was hoping to buy accessories to make the interior feel a bit less generic, but SCA doesn't have much on offer that's catching my eye. The only exception might be replacing my exhaust pipe with a heart-shaped one, depending on how easy/hard that is to do and if that impacts the function, since I saw one of those on my work commute recently and thought it was cute. Thanks! submitted by /u/ButtercupAttitude to r/CarsAustralia [link] [comments]

I ducked my boyfriends jeep without him knowing because he was sad he hadn't got a duck yet.
So the title probably sounds really odd but let me explain. In the jeep owners community, there is a thing called ducking. The term is "duck duck jeep". Jeep owners leave a small rubber duck on another jeep. Ducks are often left with a note, telling the owner they’ve been ducked and they have to pass the duck along. Jeep owners say it’s a source of pride to find one of the ducks on their car. The trend has gained so much popularity lately and is often posted on Facebook groups for jeep owners and my boyfriend has told me about it many times. He's had a rough time lately with work and I just wanted to see him smile. I knew he wouldn't be ducked by another jeep owner as there aren't many jeeps in our area but I knew it would make his day if he got one. So I purchased a rubber duck with some cool accessories and made a plan to leave it on his car. I even got my brother in on it so he wouldn't suspect it was me. The day came and my brother left the duck on the car as we went swimming, and he found it on our way back out. Guys His face lit up. He even did a little happy dance, and wouldn't stop smiling the whole way home. As soon as we got home he was posting his duck in all the groups for other jeep owners to see. He doesn't know it was me and I don't have the heart to tell him. I want him to enjoy this little bit of happiness for as long as it lasts. submitted by /u/PhoebeReeves25 to r/TrueOffMyChest [link] [comments]

I bought my first car (2008 VW CrossPolo) last year and I've decided that I want to make it a little bit cuter. All I've done so far is buy a steering wheel cover and I have some plushies. Now I want some things to make it really unique and fun! Any ideas? P.S. I don't want to change the coat colour though submitted by /u/rosaline1110 to r/cars [link] [comments]
