I’ve now sorted this. When using a desktop computer I was able to scroll the pop-up to see a “No Thanks” option. This was not obvious - there was no scroll bar or arrow to indicate it needed to be scrolled. At best this is a poor UX, at worst it’s misleading.

O.P. Yes, the NVR is connected to the cameras – it's working fine. And I can see all 8 cameras on my desktop screen. Am wanting to be be able to see this on my Phone (Annke App) – remote connection. I assume the NVR needs to be connected to my internet – but my modem is too far away unfortunately.

First time using linux after a long time (first time i tried it out was trough PopOs because my desktop was shit, i really liked it but went back to Windows so i could play multiplayer games with my friends). Now i have a new desktop (thats when i went back to windows), and just bought a new ssd so i tought of going back to linux running a dual boot. Searching a bit i decided to test CachyOS, saw people saying it was nice for gaming, also the arch customizability got my heart tho ima bit scared. First of all what is exactly a desktop enviroment and what is the difference between them? Wich tho choose? I get it that there is a whole generation that does everything on their phone and it's not crazy. I think it's weird that people don't even give a desktop PC or laptop a chance because they think they "don't need them". I can do most things on my phone but having a file system and a million other benefits make using a normal computer an easier solution for things like paying bills or checking your stupid social media. Just having a mouse and keyboard is huge.
