Dyson airwrap co-anda2x is back in stock! My first impressions after a week of use
Long post ahead! I have been waiting for months, maybe even a few years to buy a Dyson hair product that I feel would truly make a difference in my routine and make my hair routine more efficient. I have some Dyson home products already (fan, fan purifier, vacuum) so I trust the brand. I was first intrigued by the airstrait but wasn’t fully convinced. So when they released the new airwrap co-anda2x with the airsmooth attachment, and a much more better drying power, I was sold (no, really, checkout agad when I got notified it was back in stock in the Dyson website! Lol)! First of all, to get the obvious out of the way: this thing is truly gorgeous. Worth displaying on the vanity. And it feels good in my hand: it feels sturdy, but is still lightweight, so hindi siya nakaka-ngalay. For reference, I have very long (layered, goes down to my waist) and fine hair. It’s also maintained with Piandré’s aura smoothing treatment (last one was late Feb, so still very much in effect currently). My thoughts on how the attachments perform: - Dryer: I remember trying the older airwrap model before and being disappointed of the dryer - parang it would take forever to dry my hair (pero gets naman na it isn’t a dedicated dryer supposedly). This one though, it’s fair to say it can perform like at least 90% power of a full-fledged dryer. I think it took me like 1-2 min to dry my hair (not fully, but dry enough for styling). For me, this alone makes the product worth it. - Round brush: Hindi siya nakakabuhol ng hair. The bristles are compact, not few and far between, and I find it contributes to making hair shinier. Perfect for curtain bangs! - Anti-snag flat brush: Good for detangling and imo an ideal next step after drying and before using the curling barrels. Also my husband likes using this for a quick brush-up look haha! - Curling barrels: With my hair length, I only wish these were longer as well! But that just means the learning curve is steeper. So far, practice makes perfect. I also find the i.d. curling feature (3rd slide) in the app super helpful- just focusing on the technique and not counting for the sequences is great. - Airsmooth: AFAIK, this doesn’t result in as straight and sleek style as the airstrait, but that isn’t a bad thing - it’s actually really good at making my lengths shinier and reducing frizz. It’s a nice finishing touch that saves me the use of some anti-frizz products. My first trial curls (4th slide) using the bigger curling barrel (and with the help of the app), without any styling products at all, lasted for around four hours on me. I also went out yesterday with curled hair, using a bit of the Dove extra hold hairspray, and it lasted seven hours. I think the key is really to have the proper styling products and to not touch my hair so much! 🤭 I’ve been really really happy with it and have had no regrets. And, as I said, even my husband likes it (he uses it right after me haha) so I think sulit talaga for us. Before this I had a curling iron, straightening iron, a 10 year old BaByliss hair dryer, and a dupe of the OG airwrap (na yung round brush lang naman yung useful for me). The airwrap co-anda2x has sent all of these to retirement (maybe except the straightener, but I don’t really use it much as I have straight hair)! Happy to share some more thoughts if you girlies have any questions! Also would love to hear your hair styling product recommendations!! ❤️ submitted by /u/Porscheux to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

Dyson Airwrap ID vs Co-anda 2x
Hello, I could really use some advice. I can’t decide between the Co-anda 2x and the Dyson ID Airwrap. Here’s my problem: I think the cool shot function on the Co-anda 2x is really great, and the Dyson ID doesn’t have that, right? On the other hand, I really like the flyaway attachment on the Dyson ID, and the Co-anda 2x doesn’t have that attachment, does it? But I’ve also seen that there are dupes of the smoothing attachment for the Co-anda 2x that also work for the ID. I’ve also heard that the Co-anda 2x doesn’t pick up the ends of the hair very well and that it breaks more often. Plus, I somehow find the buttons on the Co-anda 2x more practical. However, I’ve also heard that with the Dyson ID you can somehow set it up in the app so that you still get a cool shot function. This whole Bluetooth thing with the Dyson ID feels really strange to me. I’d honestly rather do something like that manually. I also find it odd that Dyson doesn’t release something that combines everything into one device, or at least make attachments for every model, or include the cool shot function on the ID. I just don’t get it. What would you do in my place? I’ve also heard that the curls from the Co-anda 2x can get a bit frizzy — like slightly messier and more chaotic in the end. Could you please share your experiences and tell me what you’d recommend I buy? Thanks a lot. submitted by /u/Dapper_Ad_863 to r/Dysonairwrap [link] [comments]

Long hair with the dyson airwrap
I have had the Dyson Airwrap hair styler for about a month now and I honestly love it more than I expected. I use it every time I wash my hair and it has pretty much replaced my old curling iron completely. My hair is long and usually takes forever to style, but the Airwrap makes the whole process feel easier somehow. I also love how the curls come out soft and bouncy. What surprised me the most is how long the curls last, about 5 days, sometimes even a week. Then afterwards they loosen into waves but they still look nice. Before this I used a regular curling iron for years. Looking back I feel like it was probably frying my hair. My ends were always dry and I never thought much about it until switching tools. I decided to get it after reading reviews on Amazon and Alibaba, I guess those were dupes? Idk, but I got mine on their website. Kinda expensive, at least for me, but so worth it! For anyone else with long hair, how has the Dyson Airwrap hair styler been working for you? submitted by /u/Embarrassed-Career30 to r/haircareaddiction [link] [comments]

Cheap dyson airwrap dupe for thick hair
Hello guys! Basically the title. I am looking for a cheap (max €100) dyson airwrap dupe. The Shark Flex is just too expensive for me as I am an university student. I have tried out lotta curls and heatless blow out techniques but they just don't always turn out good, so I want a back up plan if that doesn't work. I have thick, straight hair and I want to use it to do a blowout. I'd be great if the dupe would be as close to dyson as possible and does little damage (or if possible no damage at all). So, if anyone has a recommendation, I'd be very thankful to hear about it. submitted by /u/moonissus to r/Hair [link] [comments]

Is the Airwrap actually worth 10x the price of dupes?
Okay so i’ve been drooling over the dyson for literally years but i simply cannot justify dropping $600 on a hair tool. I’m sorry but rent comes first 😭. I ended up grabbing this dupe (bondibabes 5 in 1) just to see if i could get the blowout look without the price tag. ?Honestly? i’m kinda shocked. It’s not perfect, the motor is definitely louder or higher pitched than the dyson or shark and the cord is annoyingly short if your mirror isn’t right next to the outlet. But. For 1/10th of the price?? My hair actually holds the volume and it has all the same attachments. Plus i don’t feel guilty about the cost lol. Has anyone else gone the dupe route? Do they last or am i gonna regret not saving up for the dyson? submitted by /u/Ava_Brazier to r/femalehairadvice [link] [comments]

Shark/Dyson 3rd party attachments: dupe of Coanda 2x brush in a large size
So I got the Airwrap ID and the Shark Flexstyles and enjoy them both a lot. However neither round brush impressed me. A few weeks ago I purchased dupes of the Coanda 2x round brush and fell in LOOVE. It glides thru my hair like butter, smooths, and it never pulls out any hair! Meanwhile the Flexstyle round brush always pulled hair out. My only complaint was that the brush is sort of small and I wished that eventually Dyson would release a similar brush for the ID but in a larger size. Well someone in the third party attachment industry heard my pleas and guess what I found? See attached! Will comment the links. They are sort of expensive but its worth it for how much I enjoy the plastic bristles. Anyone else looking to purchase? Or have any other experiences with third party attachments? submitted by /u/nothishomeland to r/Dysonairwrap [link] [comments]

Are there any Airwrap dupes that actually last? (Not looking for Shark)
I've been dying for an air styler but I simply cannot justify spending $600 on the Dyson. I tried the Shark Flexstyle at a friend's house and it was okay, but still pretty pricey for me right now. Has anyone found a mid-range dupe (like under $150) that doesn't just burn out after a month? I keep seeing ads for random brands on IG but I'm scared they're all cheap dropshipping scams. I have thick wavy hair if that helps. submitted by /u/Abigail_Onus to r/beauty [link] [comments]

Dyson Airwrap alternative
Hey, not sure if this is the right sub. But my wife was away on a girl's trip and one of her friends had a Dyson Airwrap and she loved it. Being that the cost of living means we can't spend the $500+ on one for Christmas I'm just seeing if there is a good alternative that is more affordable? She straightens her hair everyday and was impressed with all the extra stuff it could do. submitted by /u/CheeseforyourLoaf to r/AustralianMakeup [link] [comments]

dyson airwrap way cheaper alternatives (Hodekt vs Stayoung vs Simplus vs others)
TLDR: want to know which one has best air suction for the curler!! been seeing (kinda) dupes from Dreame, Simplus, Stayoung, Hodekt etc. Parang Hodekt yung pinakamura, pero di ko alam kung worth it?? Anyone who tried curlers na may suction like airwrap? May cheaper dupe po ba na malakas pa din suction at nakakacurl pa rin? Already saw other threads similar to this pero baka merong nakapagtry na ng 2 or more of these products, maganda sana kung may comparison kung which one ang mas malakas ang suction. Makapal kasi hair ko and very stubborn ng pagka-straight kahit di rebonded. Thank you!!! submitted by /u/Hun16 to r/beautytalkph [link] [comments]

Do I really need a Dyson Airwrap if I just want fast, no-fuss drying?
I hate blow-drying my hair so much that I don’t even own a hair dryer. I usually just let it air dry. My hair is kind of mixed: straight at the roots, but curly/wavy underneath and at the ends. On wash days it gets a bit puffy, but from the second day on I actually like how it looks. The problem is: I’m about to start working in a formal office environment every day, so going in with wet hair is not an option anymore. I’m considering buying a hair dryer, but I truly hate the whole process… the noise, the time it takes, everything. I also have zero patience for styling, using multiple attachments, or fancy features. I just want something that can get my hair dry quickly and easily. Whenever I’ve borrowed someone else’s dryer in the past, it felt like it took forever and left my hair frizzy and extra puffy. I thought about the Dyson Airwrap, but I feel like it might be a waste of money for me since it comes with so many attachments and styling options that I’ll probably never use. Do you think the Airwrap would still be worth it for someone like me? Or would it make more sense to just buy a simpler, more straightforward dryer that’s fast and less damaging? Any recommendations? Edit: would a Dyson Supersonic (or some dupe) be a better option? submitted by /u/Only_Pressure1409 to r/beauty [link] [comments]

What’s the cheapest you’ve seen/purchased the Dyson Airwrap?
I’m looking to purchase a Dyson Airwrap and it’s currently for $565 on the Dyson website. I was wondering if anyone here has seen it cheaper elsewhere and whether I should wait for a sale? I know the Shark is a good dupe but I’m after the Dyson :) submitted by /u/throwaway47283 to r/AustralianMakeup [link] [comments]
