Elf Primer

ELF website has free shipping today, so I ordered "holy hydration" daily cleanser and "mist and set" setting spray. I like their cleanser; it's gentle and hydrating. It might remove makeup, but I use cleansing wipes along with this product. I am impressed with their setting mists. Ultra fine mist which holds primer and highlighter in place all day.

I’ve not heard of corrector (or primer). So today I bought some peach corrector to try, just $5 elf brand for proof of concept. And a brush. It may all be for naught though since most people also wear foundation, and that’s never been my vibe. Though it is fun to hang out here with the cool kids

A few months back, I posted here looking for some wedding makeup critiques and tips! Well I’m glad to say that my makeup turned out really lovely on the day, yesterday, and held up brilliantly until we left the venue at 3am (when the 2nd picture was taken). Thanks to some very nice comments on the last post, I made some adjustments - and also got a spray tan the day before - and I wouldn’t change a thing now that I’m on the other side of it! The lipstick was the only thing that wore off. I didn’t reapply powder even once since I was having a great day and the makeup lasted very successfully! If you’re thinking about doing your own makeup, I would! Practice a lot! The morning was so chill and I was able to go at my own pace, take a coffee break and actually enjoy all the excitement going on in my parents house where we all got ready together. It was really special that I could sit with my sister and help each other get ready on the last day we share the same surname. The tension between me and bleaching my eyebrows is so intense right now. I really love how they look with most makeup looks. The days when I don’t have work and get to frolic around in the world looking just how I like my character to look is a simple pleasure of life. when I was looking at my pictures, it made me realize I always do a nude or pink lipstick look. I definitely need to experiment more with my lipsticks. I’m not sure what would have looked good with these looks other than what I did though. Ive been trying to do my makeup more frequently and im trying to go for an everyday cutesy look :] Is there any tips for improvement that anyone can give me and/or reccommend any drugstore brands that is good for black girls! I use a random concelar from 5 below called pro conceal by LA girl. A sehpora concelar in the shade 44Y and an ELF blush in the shade coral crush! I also used Essence lash princess and Elf primer. I was wondering if to buy the elf putty primer (I've seen there's 3 types? I have no idea what's the difference between the 3 though) or the liquid ones, or the power grip primer. thing is, I don't wear a lot of makeup, I hate foundation, I only apply contour and concealer other than lipstick, and stuff on my eyes and eyebrows. about my skin, I'm not sure what type of skin I've got, its dry almost everywhere but it can get super oily at times. I've got redness in my cheeks (near my nose) and in my chin, and I've got pores/blackheads.
